I am a hair stylist so I've used many other styling tools. This was a huge flop for me. 1- my hair would get caught in it. It wouldn't house smoothly through my hair. It would catch the hairs. 2- for some odd reason it would give me frizzy flyaways and I have NEVER had this issue with any other flat iron. 3- the charging cable needs to be redesigned. It is the most poorly made design I've ever seen. When the stand is sitting on a counter the cord cannot stay attached. It falls off constantly because it's at such a weird angle and it's only attached via magnet. 4- does not hold charge very well at all. I would get half way though someone's head and have to put it back on the charger. 5- this thing beeps at you constantly and it's super annoying.

This machine features intelligent heat control, fast charging, up to 30-minutes of cord-free styling time, and Magnesium copper alloy flexing plates. With regard to it pulling or catching your hair, we would recommend making sure parting your hair in 3 sections and ensuring your hair is fully dry before you use the Dyson Corrale™ straightener. Another tip we recommend is using some tension as the plates are flexible and applying tension will allow the hair to pass through with ease.

Having a cordless straightener is a great idea, but it really means nothing when the battery doesn't even last enough time to finish half of your hair. Totally returning it.

The flexing plates provide just the right amount of flex to gather and adapt to the hair, and also provide the tension needed for styling. The intelligent heater system delivers the required heat to the plates. Intelligent heat control regulates the temperature of the plates 100 times a second to make sure they never exceed your chosen temperature. And finally, a 4-cell lithium ion battery enables enhanced styling with cord-free versatility.
The Dyson Corrale™ straightener is a cord-free straightener that provides the same thermal performance as corded products, but with cord-free versatility. It provides up to 30 minutes cord-free styling and is fully recharged in just 70 minutes. You can also extend your run time by attaching the magnetic 360ᵒ charging cable for use in hybrid charge mode should you need longer. Also, while in use to help prolong the battery life, we'd recommend placing the straightener back on the dock, between styling sections of your hair.
