It provides up to 30 minutes cord-free styling and is fully recharged in just 70 minutes. You can also extend your run time by attaching the magnetic 360ᵒ charging cable for use in hybrid charge mode should you need longer. Also, while in use to help prolong the battery life, we'd recommend placing the straightener back on the dock, between styling sections of your hair. My wife tried this hair straightener and performed poorly on her hair. She tried it with her daughters hair and also performed poorly. We purchased a $30 straightener in another store and ended up performing much better than this $500 hair straightener. This product is over priced for what it is intended to be used. They should price this product similar to the competition.

The only reason I give it 1 star is because the quality is good, made very well but you cannot use it more than 15-20 mins without charging it for hours. You cannot use it with the cable as it doesn't extend the battery life as is states. For somebody like me, using all their hair stuff, this is a huge disappointment! Do not recommend!

The Dyson Corrale's battery provides up to 40 minutes of styling time, but we do understand that you may need longer, depending on your styling needs. This is why the Corrale straightener can be used in hybrid mode. Hybrid mode entails using the machine while it's on the charger, so your styling isn't interrupted!
