After a few months, the battery life is about 10 minutes. Immediately after warranty, the straightener died completely (doesn’t even work with the cord) and Dyson will not fix or replace it. They don’t even make parts for it.

My daughter thinks it works much better than her conventional straightener. She said her hair stays straight much longer and is more silky.

It just died. Flashing power button when connected to charger. Did the Dyson Diagnostics. Looks battery issue. Purchased November 2020 - Died September 2023.

I love the cordless two in one function. However, at full charge the straightener will last you a max of 20-25 mins. So for those who are like me with full, thick and curly hair you need more time. Especially if your hair is long. Thankfully, my hair is to my shoulders so the battery dies literally when I am on my last strand of hair to straightener. Another dislike is Dyson Support. My charger has died after having it for only 4 months and Dyson seems to lack in Support because I have not received any help from them. I have called, emailed and followed up on instant messages with no assistance. Getting a replacement charger seems to be extremely difficult. I have went out of my way and spend $40 to purchase my own replacement. Think again before buying this product. PASS AND GO.

I got this as a present. I was so excited.... The cold kept on falling off (I return it and they gave me a the wrong color but the magnet on the new one appeared to be stronger so I was going to keep it.) I love the plates, the result of the hair style. I hate that it only last 30 mins on full charge Wireless and if it completely dies (or about to die) you can’t use it right away with the cord. It has to be charged for at least 15-20 mins... otherwise it continues dying. It’s inconvenient. Forget about last minute getting ready it it’s not charged or sharing it with someone else. At first I noticed the pretty heavy, but I didn’t think it was going to be an issue. However, it thumb get numb. Not worth the $$$.

I bought this for my wife who has been a hair stylist for the last 17 years. This is the first wireless flat iron she has ever seen. You just have to watch your timing while using and charge in between sections for better battery life. Her hair super long and naturally curly and it only took her 10 minutes to straighten her whole head with this iron! All of her hair stylist friends want one of these as well! Honestly you get what you pay for! Well worth the money!,,,

Works only with the cable. The charging station stopped working the first year of purchase, same as on my Dyson Airwrap complete, which has a problem with the cable.I was thinking that I can bring it to Best Buy for repair but they told me that I need to contact Dyson. Not worth the money!!!

First let me start off by saying if u have long hair skip on this! The thing I absolutely hate is that if its dead you cannot use it even when its plugged in, the battery will keep dying and keep turning off so u have to wait 20 min for it to charge a little bit for u can use it while plugged in! I just recommend the blower its amazing!

Best straightener ive ever had. Well worth the money

Don’t waste your money! I have had my Dyson for two years and it only has a two-year warranty and as soon as the two-year warranty ran out the battery stopped working. I can’t use it for more than five minutes. My Chi lasted twice as long.
