We like that is has no cord and that the different vacuum pieces snap in and out. Not sure yet about the battery. Our house is only 1400 square feet and the battery didn't last doing the entire carpeted area.

First Dyson purchase ever and it has been everything we've dreamed of. So versatile and powerful. And I love the easy to use attachments! My only wish? That it would run a little bit longer.

I love this and am glad to be rid of uprights, canisters and cords. My wife does not love it--too squirrelly and hard on her wrist. It's not as light as the ads would lead you to believe, especially when working the higher spots. But I do the vacuuming so no problem other than vacuuming of any kind is a pain. We have hardwood and tile floors. No carpets. It works great for that, but I cannot speak to carpets. The low power setting does just fine; I only use the higher settings for stubborn spots. It’s also great for stairs. The battery lasts around 45 minutes, and I can finish most of our 2700 square foot house in that time. It's cordless for me from now on.

I was looking for a light vacuum, with maximum efficiency, as I would not want to aggravate an existing issue with my shoulder and arm. I went with the Dyson Absolute V10 Cyclone despite the steep price. I tested it a local Best Buy and purchased it right away. It was a joy to use. I just think that Dyson should seriously consider removable dual batteries - with a single battery, I cannot vacuum hardwood/tiles and carpet on a single charge. There are other brands with dual batteries so may have to try them next time. In addition, a lock/unlock option for the power button would be ergonomically advantageous users like myself with shoulder/arm issues.

The absolute package is worth every extra penny. The small head attachment turns the vacuum into a small handheld device with the same suction power. I use the polishing head for the hardwood and the regular head for carpet. As long as you use the 'regular' suction power the vacuum should never die, however if you use 'max power' you only have about 15 minutes of battery life. Plus the max power setting is twice as loud as the standard setting. The collection bin is plenty large and is extremely easy to empty. We have the vacuum wall mounted in the bathroom so its always at full charge when you need it. Plus guests always comment on it since it is a pretty cool looking vacuum !

Lumbering around bent over with a dust buster or pulling out the upright to clean up in heavily trafficked areas was getting old. I intend this product to save my back and OCD-ness. As a test, I put the soft roller attachment on, crushed up & sprinkled some buttery crackers on vinyl flooring, and had the mess up in a couple passes (on minimum power). The other motorized attachments have done a fine job pulling cat hair and other debris out of upholstery and carpet. So far, I haven't had battery life be an issue as the lower power setting has sufficed except for some stubborn cat hair. It's a lot of money, but if it lasts, it seems worth getting.

The purchasing and picking up experience was great. The Dyson - Cyclone V10 Absolute Cord-Free Vacuum is amazingly light and powerful. I love the ease of use and recharge.

The Dyson v10 Absolute is the best thing to happen to cleaning since soap. No cords to tether you to a wall, this vacuum made cleaning my house super fun. I also really appreciate that this is the first vacuum I've owned where I do not have to dig my hand into the area where the refuse collects to clean it out. It makes cleaning easy with its light weight, efficient with its power, and perfect for cars, apartments, airbnbs, or houses. I live by one rule: buy it right the first time and you don't have to buy it again. This product lived up to its price tag and I've never been so satisfied with a cleaning product before this one.

We upgraded to the v10 from the v6. What a difference, more power, two floor heads, quieter, easier to empty, and more power. We were fans before and now even more.

Great vacuum. Lots of attachments for ever need. Lots of suction on all settings. Easy to clean out debris canister. Simple to change out attachments.

Dyson makes some pretty remarkable vacuum. This little beauty sucks dirt and grime off of any surface. It's plenty powerful and surprisingly light. In addition, there is no cord to get in the way. It's almost fun to use. Here's the problem, the battery life is horrible. It you have anything bigger than a small apartment, this vacuum isn't practical. I'd still recommend a Dyson. We have the Animal Ball 2 (I think that's right. It's purple and powerful). It's better than the Kirby we used for 13 years. If they fix the battery life, I'll be the first one to get it.

So great to have our main vacuum cordless, light weight, versatile attachments, and easy to empty. Bought about a month ago and no complaints so far.

Love it! Very light and easy to use. Just wished the battery lasted just a little longer on the strongest setting. I can easily do the whole house on the first setting but only about 20 minutes on the highest.

My last vacuum was dying, so I figured I would get something nicer, that would last a lot longer. I can’t remember the last time that I was this excited about a home appliance. This vacuum is awesome. It’s super light and portable, making it easy to vacuum the upstairs of my house and the actual stairs. The battery has a longer life than I expected. Also, I love not being tethered to a cord. I was expecting a battery powered vacuum to not clean as well, because it might not be as powerful, but this vacuum cleans better than any other vacuum I have owned. Best vacuum ever!

Dyson products are not inexpensive. If you are willing to pay the cost such as this Cyclone V10 Absolute Cord-Free Stick Vacuum, it's worth the cost. This is a light, super powerful vacuum that is not corded. Find that I actually will sweep/clean more often as it's easy and efficient. Had an older model for years...and this is a terrific progression of technology and improvements. This particular model is not the computerized one, but the price of this one is also $200 less. I can manage just fine for the difference.

Been using a Dyson ball--too heavy and clumsy. Tried the two best-rated sticks at the same time--this Dyson top-of-the-line and a Shark almost half its price from Sam's. I didn't think the Dyson could be worth twice as much, but it consistently picked up dirt the Shark left behind, whereas the converse was not true. Also, more useful attachments with the Dyson compared to the Shark. I only used one-third of the battery life to vacuum the entire house. The agility and light weight of the Dyson made it easier and faster to use.

Highly recommend. Lightweight & multiple attachments. Powerful enough to pick up dust, particulate dirt & hair. Easy to open & dump into garbage.
