Vast improvement over an Oreck. Haven't owned long enough to determine how easy it is to maintain or how it holds up longer term. Suction stronger tahn my shop vac.

Great first Dyson pruchase! I'm suprised by how easy it is to use, and how much more effective it was than my previous vacuum. 2 cat home, so it REALLY made a difference.

This vacuum cleans our house very well. We have a variety of floor rugs and hard wood floors and it gets them all clean. This vacuum gets all the little dirt particles!!

Great vacuum. Picked up so much dirt it was scary. We thought our carpet was clean but low and behold when we used our new vacuum it picked up so much dirt it was scary.

I have two labs that shed a lot. This vacuum picks up everything! It's amazing all the hair it gets off the floor and carpets. I should have gotten it a long time ago.

Well worth the money. Amazed what my other vacuum left behind. I definitely would recommend this vacuum to my friends.

I love how easy it is to dispose of the vacuumed stuff. Suction is good for my pet hair needs. It doesn't pick up bigger stuff if you use the bare floor feature. You need to use the accessories for that.

Love how well the Dyson Animal picks up the pet hair. Gets what others don't get in just one pass and tools are easy to use and have great suction power as well.

This vaccum is well worth the extra money !!! I love that it has 2 filters !!! Also that the filters can be cleaned with water. The extra long cord is great !!!

This is a great vacuum to have if you have pets. It picks up stubborn pet hair off of the carpet at couches. It came with many attachments. It's also very easy to dispose of the dirt from the canister.

It was a bit tough to stomach the price of a Dyson, but the design and performance were well worth the purchase. They did a great job with this machine.

Even though i bough and older model Dyson I am not dissapointed it is a great machine the suction on it is great I have bought mavy less expensive vacuums and i have never been so amazed.

Very happy with my purchase. Very impress from the very first time use. Carpet feels very clean. This is not a regular vacumm. Its a Dyson.

Picks up pet hair and is easy to push/pull vacuum. Extension wand is a little difficult to use on steps because hose is a little short. Overall, a good value and does the job.

Excellent at picking up pet hair and pulling dirt out of carpets. Can't believe how much better it is than my previous sweeper. Love it!

The Dyson is the vacuum of choice for my family. We all have pets and in all four of our homes we all have the Animal Dyson. It does a great job pickup of the animal hair.

I made a decision about 6 years ago to buy a Dyson. I was sick and tired of spending $100 plus a year on other less expensive brands (Eureka, Hoover, Shark, ect) Dyson's are just amazing. I purchsed this one because of the great sale price, not because I had to replace my older one. So my new one stays in the house and the older model is in the garage to use on dirtier jobs. I have recommended Dyson to all of my friends, who took my advise and bought a Dyson. They are still my friends, which says it all..

This sweeper is by far the best sweeper out there. It beats those door to door sweepers and any others you can buy in the store

Love the vacuum power. Everything you could want from a Dyson at a great price. I only wish the attachments and hose for the cleaning accessories was different.
