This dyson cordless vacuum is fun to use and has a very strong suction! The battery on this vacuum last around 15-20 depending on speed you are using. I always enjoy using it to clean up. Without the cord just makes cleaning easier.

Needed an easy to handle, cordless vacuum to pick up little stuff without needing to bend over to use a Dustbuster type of handheld. This vacuum worked better than I expected and I now use it for all of my wood floors as well as my carpets and rugs. It picks up an amazing amount of dust that my other vacuum (supposedly highly rated) had missed. l'm sold!

lightweight, powerful, easy to use, only con is small dirt resevoir sometimes is hard to empty of pet hair.

Great product....I really didn't expect to vacuum carpet with this model even though the description says you can. However It does do a decent job on the carpet as well. Only reason i didn't give 5 stars is because of battery life. 20 minutes on regular setting but who uses that? I turn on the extra suction every time which results in about 12 min per charge. And it takes a while to charge. I just hope the battery holds up from charging so often.

I love how light this is. I use it on my wood floors to clean up after my 4 year old daughter and white Maltese. The only thing I don't like about this is when I have to vacuum up quarter size pieces of play-doh. The regular head won't pick it up. I have to take off the attachment and just use the hand held to get up the larger pieces. But this is great on stairs and kitchen. Great for quick easy clean up. I use it everyday.

Already own another Dyson vacuum and wanted this one for quick pickups. Works perfect in that role. Instructions say that there is a twenty minute battery life, but I have never come close to needing that much time so I can't really comment on that aspect. I will, however, say that the vacuum works really well, has great suction and is extremely light weight. Great (although somewhat expensive) purchase.

Sorry Dyson, the positives, Weight of vacuum and suction (not bad for battery powered). Not so positive: battery life was only around 15- 20 minutes. I was hoping for more. My rooms are relatively small (5 rms/1200 sq ft/ floor and carpet ) and I was hoping to vacuum the entire house with one charge. Didn't happen. I also needed to hold the trigger down. that was taxing on the finger. Dyson, can you add a toggle switch? I guess this is only for quick pick ups like an electric broom.

Had looked at all the different brands of cordless vacuums over a 2 year period and Dyson was my top choice. Use it 3 to 4 times a week. My husband uses it to clean his truck. When my daughter-in-law saw it she just had to have one. Purchased a second one for her Christmas gift. Light weight, good power, and very convenient. Highly recommend.

This is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. I already own the DC39, and I bought the DC44 for my mom. I have owned the DC39 for over 2 years, and it works exactly the way it did on the first day (even the battery life)!! It is extremely convenient and light-weight to use. It is also very easy to change the extensions. I have an apartment that is about 1250 sq feet. and mostly hardwood floors. The Dyson always surprises me with the amount of dirt it picks up! The only downside is the battery life - I can use it for about 20 minutes - which lets me cover about 2 rooms at a time, or just the living room (including couch, throw pillows, etc). So, in summary, this is a great vacuum cleaner for small / mid sized apartment. If you own a bigger place, I would not recommend this model.

A little pricey but does a good job for a cordless. Holding the finger button down for 15 minutes can be a pain doing steps or larger areas. Over all it has been what expected but It would be nice if it held a longer charge then 10 to 20 minutes. . I wouldn't recommend this as my only home vac but for in between jobs it does a good job for the money.

My husband bought this for me as a Christmas gift. At first I wasn't sure I would use it since we recently bought a Dyson Animal, but I find myself using it daily! It is perfect for quick easy cleanup. The vacuum itself is lightweight and manageable. The charger/storage system is fantastic. One of those products you wonder how you ever lived without!

Bought this as a lightweight quick vac between serious vacuuming with my Miele. We have two dogs, and the front and rear entry areas get dirt tracked inside as well as the usual dog hair. I like to have this nearby for very quick use, and I am impressed. It gets it all: dog hair, leaf and pine needle residue, dust, and whatever else comes through the doors. We have all hardwood floors with thick Persian rugs in places. The Dyson does an excellent job on both wood and rug surfaces, and I am amazed at how full the container gets with just a three or four minute swish. Its weight and design make it excellent for stairs as well; I can remain standing (no more on my knees with a vacuum attachment) and its maneuverability does a quick job on the stairs. It is also useful in our very high foyer for reaching the walls and sill below a large central window. I have been disappointed with similar products from other manufacturers so I carefully saved all my paperwork in case I wanted to return it. It's a keeper, though. And the directions and warranty which come with it bring you not back to the store but directly to Dyson customer service. Score!

"Every home needs a cordless vac"! I bought this to use in my 5th wheel camper, and I wish I had one at home for quick uses without dragging out my larger Dyson! Easy to use, and love how it comes apart to use on window sills and along the edge of floors. Wish the battery lasted a little longer but happy I made the purchase!

I will only buy Dyson vacuums. I currently have 3. I have wanted this portable one forever but it was just so much money. I received an email that Best Buy has a sale on it and I jumped on it. It is so easy for hard to reach places, quick pick ups. It has great suction and is so light.

This vacuum is very light and easy to maneuver, especially compared to the regular Dyson floor vacuum I have. It does run out of battery life after about 20 minutes, but that's just enough time to make a pass over my hardwood floors. All in all, this is now our "go to" vacuum.

Its my first dyson because dysons tend to be on on the more expensive side but since there was a good deal, I decided to give it a try. Its a powerful stick vacuum. Only con is the short battery life which takes hours to fully charge up, which I do overnight.

I maybe should read the instructions before. I had it on HIGH SUCTION. The thing lonely lasts for about 15- 20 minutes. But otherwise, it is a great machine! Light, does exactly what I wanted it to! Man-Cave, steps, porch, in house, etc..

Great handheld vacuum. Easy to setup. Good power. Very convenient. I would like the bagless portion to be a little bigger but that would not deter me from purchasing this product.

We purchased a Dyson DC44. I was amazed at how well it worked. We have an indoor cat that likes to shed. I never knew there was that much cat hair down in the carpet. The size and portability is excellent. Easy to handle and easy to use.

Bought it and like it but do not exactly love it since the battery life doesn't last long enough to cover everything. If you're looking for fast and simple this item is for you. Just don't expect to vaccuum your entire house with it.
