Works well, great suction, and awesome battery life to the previous versions. My only complaint would be that it’s a lot heavier than I’m used to. Otherwise, it’s amazing! And holds a lot more.

Great power and ample accessories. The extra battery is a bonus along with the extended run time. I wish dyson had a free standing stand to hold all the accessories. We have a large dog and this does a great job with all of the hair.

Never have I ever had a vacuum cleaner as good as the Dyson! Having it mounted on a charger makes it SO easy to store and pick up when I need to use. Not dealing with a vacuum cord is worth its weight in gold. Seriously. I hate vacuum cords so much. The suction on this thing is amazing! And when something gets caught, it shuts off, making it even easier to use! I love all of the different attachments. It's great at getting cat hair off of my velvet sofas!

I've been impressed with the suction power this vacuum has and all of the accessories. I also like the menu and the vacuum is extremely nimble. The downsides would be the weight, it starts to feel pretty heavy. My previous vacuum (also a stick vacuum) was lighter, had a trigger switch so you don't have to hold the button the entire time, and had lights on the head to see the dust. If you want a Dyson head to have lights (laser) it's an additional $120.

I bought this Dyson to replace my vacuum for my home. The vacuum comes with two batteries. I can easily vacuum my entire condo twice with 1 battery when the suction is on medium. I can vacuum completely under my couch from front to back with the extension attachment and you can also turn it into a handheld. Lastly, With my previous vacuums, i was prone to make a little bit of a mess when dumping the contents of the canister into the trash. This vacuum’s canister release mechanism make that almost impossible to do and in just a few seconds. My only complaint is the overly sensitive trigger mechanism which is quite annoying when you’re trying to lift the vacuum out of the charging cradle and it unexpectedly turns on.

Suction power is awesome. Battery pretty good. Only thing I dislike is how heavy it is and that you have to constantly pinch the inner lever to keep it running which ends up making my shoulder sore as well as hip sore from putting so much effort into pushing it. I’m 120lb athletic and it’s still a workout that makes me sweat whenever I use it for more then a minute. Was hoping they’d come out with an updated design with equal suction power but as the years go by I guess Dyson is not innovating. Would buy again if I didn’t own it but definently would not buy a second like I’d like to due to this never being on sale and the other reasons mentioned.

I love this Dyson Outsize Total Clean. It is quiet and easy to use and with the two batteries, you can clean for a long time without having to stop to recharge. This vacuum is amazing for it adjusts to the floor being cleaned and it also displays the amount of cleaning time left for a particular setting. It does an excellent job of picking up the dirt and dust. It is easy to go from one setting to another.

Great cordless vacuum with enough power & size to tackle the whole house. With the second battery don’t have to worry about running out of power. Works great on all surfaces really pleased with how maneuverable it is. Can get a little heavy after using it for a long time, but not too bad. Highly recommend it & actually enjoying using it.

I really love this vacuum cleaner, quiet, powerful, we have a dog, no problem, all dog hair from the carpet can be cleaned without problems. There are a lot of attachments, two batteries, this is a very big plus, the battery lasts a long time, there are three cleaning modes, my favorite mode is auto, the vacuum cleaner recognizes contamination and increases the suction power. I highly recommend this product.

Love this vacuum. We bought this to use down stairs to vacuum the hardwood, rugs, and stairs. Mostly stairs as my Dyson Ball was to difficult to use on the steps. It cleaned my stairs very well. And it’s easy to use. I like that it shows how much battery life is left & being used. The wall Mount was very easy to put together. The vacuum was easy to assemble out of the box.

This is my 4th cordless vacuum so clearly I didn't need another, but I was persuaded by the features, the power and the battery life. I wasn't disappointed. It is by far the best cleaner of the bunch and the extra battery and the numerous attachments made it even sweeter. It got an impressive amount of dirt out of my rugs that others had left behind. All in all, I couldn't be happier with it.

I know its expensive, but man was the upgrade worth it. I upgraded from a 6 year old unit that would literally die in 10 minutes of use. This one with multiple batteries and a lot more power is great. I know its expensive, but you will have this thing for 5+ Years! Works great on carpets too. I did remove a star for the weight, my wife complains about it

Replacing an upright vacuum with the Dyson, I am not disappointed. I love being able to move from different areas without having to plug in a cord. I also love the ease of changing attachments and the ability to transform it into a mini-vac. Dyson's easy design for bin clean up is genius with no mess or digging into the container for remaining dust. The reasons I didn't give 5 stars is because it's heavy, but I like the large dust bin so what can one expect. It is also pricey, which I justified with the extra battery provided.

Dyson is the first name that pops into your head when you think of cordless vacuums. That's with good reason. The Dyson Outsize is phenomenal. We upgraded from a Dyson DC44 and it just blows it out of the water. The oversized heads, interchangeable batteries, and suction power are incredible. We are able to clean so much better because of it.

Love the new technology that provides feedback on battery life. The new pet hair tool is even more effective that the last version. Very powerful vacuum that does such a great job it takes less time to get great results. It is so convenient to use that we never give a second thought to grabbing it for spot cleaning. The best just got better!

Upgraded from the v11 love the bigger container and two removable batteries. The stair attachment with the cork design works very well. And the larger head makes the clean up faster. The suction is what you expect from Dyson. Cons I would say no trigger lock and none available by third parties. I would recommend this model and the Dyson brand.

Worth the money! I’ve used this vacuum all over the house. Not just great on floors but the huge selection of attachments helped me to clean my shutters, blinds and other window treatments. Works great on fabric covered furniture too. The extra battery means that I can clean the whole house on one charge. Cordless makes it even easier.

All I can say is wow. Yes, wow. This thing is expensive but sooo worth it if you can afford it. Suction is extremely strong. Comes with a lot of attachments, battery life(s) is killer. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this vac.

Upgraded from the V8 to this and the battery life and overall performance of this model is so worth it. The auto sensing of the surface to change the amount of suction required is awesome. Definitely worth the money and wish this was available when we bought our previous Dyson hand held.
