This purifier is good and I love the app but it is not as powerful as I assumed. I purchased it thinking about the strength of the Dyson Blade dryers in restrooms but it’s nowhere close to that powerful. It’s also expensive and there are other options.

Super cool tech. The purifier automatically adjusts the speed as pollutants start filling the air (for instance: smoke when cooking). The humidifier water container holds a LOT of water and takes a long time to drain so you don't have to fill it up often. Filters are huge last a long time. Fairly quiet at highest setting and very quiet at low settings, and it automatically adjusts speeds conservatively. Complaint: it only works with Alexa and Siri smart assistants, leaving Google Home users in the air. The oscillation will cut off after a while (I think to keep the motors in good condition?) and have to be re-enabled. It's bigger than you think. The fan speed settings seem to have a weird jump where it goes from 7 options of low and 3 options of fast; would have liked a more linear distribution. Thre is a suprising amount of plastics, especially for the price point.

I purchased this unit because of Dyson’s reputation for designing and engineering quality products. Unfortunately, the PH01 appears to be an exception to the rule. The unit does a fine job with air purification. The Dyson Link app is reliable and intuitive. The device monitors all sorts of interesting air quality information, and the fan uses a unique and interesting design. However, the humidify function is ineffective. It’s disappointing to me since the device makes bold claims and has a seemingly interesting method for purifying the water before putting it into the air — all things that sold me on the product. Even with the desired humidity set to 70% (the highest value) and the fan running at the maximum level, my 185 sq ft room — less than half the size of the advertised room coverage area — does not reach much higher than 30% humidity, even with the door closed. Yet, I’d add new water daily. Thinking there must be something wrong with the device, I exchanged it for a second unit at Best Buy — but, no, same result: low humidity. After contacting Dyson support and going through basic troubleshooting steps, Dyson sent a new unit after I mailed my old unit to them, meaning I didn’t have it for about a week. When the new unit arrived from Dyson, it was pretty obviously a previously used, refurbished unit (water stains in the humidifier reservoir), which would have been fine, but Dyson’s replacement was somehow even less effective at humidifying (29% humidity in the same 185 sqft room overnight when set to 70% with the fan set to an auto-high value), and also made a super irritating squeaking noise. After contacting Dyson support again, they were unable to issue a second replacement and instead said I needed to visit a Dyson service center, the nearest of which was over an hour away. Now, even though I’m only three weeks into ownership, I’m stuck with a non-functioning unit that I can’t return to Dyson and I can’t return to Best Buy (it’s not the original unit I purchased). Right now, I am just using it as an overpriced and squeaky air purifier until I can carve out an entire day to go to the Dyson center at the mall ... during covid. I’m disappointed because I really wanted to like this unit. I love my other Dyson products, and for the price point I thought I was buying the best I could get. The setup process and the app are so, so good. The LED screen and the remote, including its magnetic attachment to the unit, are great features. Unfortunately, there is some sort of design flaw with the HP01’s humidifier, and the Dyson support system is tricky, so I’d suggest looking elsewhere if you need to humidify a room. And, most importantly, if you do need to exchange a product, I’ve learned now to only do it through Best Buy.

Dyson makes great products and this one is no exception. The purifier is great and the smartphone app is also very good. I can control everything with my phone and view the air quality data in nice graphs. Haven't used the humidify option yet as it has been too humid in Seattle but the fan works great and easily makes a difference in a large room. A bit on the expensive side but provided this thing doesn't break down, I think it was a solid investment. Honestly, the box was the only bad part of the product

Purifies the air and humidifies. This fan is more of a luxury item more so than a practical purchase. It may seem like it doesn't make much of a sound in store, but when you turn it to past at least the 8 setting for fan speed, it starts to make quite a bit of noise. The one let down for me is that this is not a dehumidifier as well. For the price, that surprises me. If you would want to save some money, just purchase a fan and humidifier + dehumidifier combo. Also, the filters for this are pricey as well and need to be purchased from Dyson.

I bought this for my large bedroom since I needed a humidifier for the winter, a fan for the summer, and an air purifier that my allergist suggested I have. So far, everything works well. I have the fan and humidity set to automatic and it seems to want to keep the humidity level at 48% which seems right. The fan does run very loud when it needs to get the humidity up but quiets down a little to maintain it. It has a nice color display that will tells you a lot of information about conditions. It tells you the air quality level which I was surprised was to find out it was very clean from the start even though I never used an air purifier before, or it is inaccurate which is hopefully not the case. It has a night mode which dims the display and quiets down the fan, which is essential since it normally runs loud. My only real problem so far is the night mode worked a couple of times and then stopped working. Display dims but the fan doesn't quiet down. I guess I need to troubleshoot this. And finally the price. It is decidedly expensive. That said, I was surprised at how expensive air purifiers are in general so the fact that this is a multi-function unit may help justify the price a little. My plan now is to start playing the numbers and when I win some money, I will buy one for the living room and one for the finished room in the basement.

I can’t shower enough love on this product! It’s a little pricey but I guess worth it ! The best humidifier and purifier! The fan is also way too good. I got this connected with my Alexa and it was such an ease to use. It’s a pretty big package to pick up from the store, would recommend shipping this to yourself. The water in the humidifier extinguishes quickly so you might have to remember to keep refilling! All in all an amazing find!

The first unit I got had a malfunction right away but Dyson support was great and shipped me a new unit right away. No issues with the new one. I don't need to worry about the unit running without water because I use the app and it sends me notifications when it needs refilling. Just put it on auto and let it do its thing. I have very hard water and the self cleaning process is great, no more scrubbing! I like that I can use this as a fan/purifier when the humidifier portion is not needed.

I'm still trying to master the best balance to humidify my bedroom during the winter. Sometimes I wake up having to drink water.

Renewed was definitely the way to go. Mine was in perfect condition even though I could tell someone had plugged it in maybe once before. After using for a few weeks, it’s definitely a splurge, but I’m glad I spent more to get a Dyson that will last forever than something cheaper. The screen on the device itself is super helpful, so I’d recommend

I’ve only had this for 2 days but I’m super impressed. I live in Colorado, aka very dry air, and my master bedroom is 700+ sq ft. It took about 18 hours to get the bedroom to 50% humidity but it did it. Most of the time it hovered in the low to mid 40’s humidity range. What has blown my mind is the air quality readings. It had been in the green zone until tonight when we cooked dinner. I’ve read in the news about indoor air pollution, which prompted me to buy this. After cooking biscuits & gravy as well as bacon, the air quality in my upstairs bedroom went to red zone! After dinner, I showered and blow dried my hair. Halfway through, I checked the air quality reading and it was up in the purple zone. Obviously this is night two with the unit and the first night with bad air but it’s really making me aware now of indoor air pollutants. The Dyson app is great too. You can control the unit and read all the stats on your phone. I enjoy having the air oscillate at a 90 degree range. The whole unit doesn’t oscillate, just an internal mechanism, which does the job wonderfully. After reading reviews about breakage, I did buckle down and buy the Geek Squad protection. I hardly ever do that but decided in this case, it was worth it. Hopefully I never have to use it.

Great product for humidifying and purifying. This does not have a Cool function (as the product name suggests). The fan is connected to the purifier, so if the purifier is set to auto, the fan only runs when it detects that the air quality needs to be improved. If you set the fan to max speed, you're actually setting the purifier to max. And the fan's max speed doesn't really do anything to cool the room like a conventional fan (or a Dyson Tower) would. I am using this in my bedroom (~140 sq. feet), along with a window AC and an ordinary fan. I was hoping this product would replace the fan, but it does not. Honestly the lack of Cool function makes this pretty disappointing, especially for this price point, but on the other hand the air quality in my room is much higher, and I noticed the difference within hours of turning it on. So I am going with 4 stars. There is a pretty useful Dyson app you can use to remotely monitor the unit and the room it's in, as well as control the unit. Also comes with remote control. I would have appreciated a more in-depth user manual, and so far I have not been able to find one online. The unit just comes with a quick start/setup guide. (For instance, I'm not sure what the Night mode function actually does.) Also, not related to the product quality, but I want to say that the Best Buy customer service team was very helpful to me, when the product was accidentally shipped the wrong house. I'm very appreciative of Best Buy for making sure I got what I ordered.

Absolutely the best unit to clean . And humidifier on the market . Easy to set up with the Dyson app. Has changed the way we breathe in the home . No dry mouth and a lot less colds and sinus probs . I have baught a lot of Dyson product s . And none have been a disappointment. All just great products.

After owning it for about 2 weeks, I can honestly say we definitely noticed the difference. The air smells cleaner when walking into the room. We set it 70% humidity and about medium speed on fan while we sleep for cool room. We no longer keep the AC on at night. We suffer from bad allergies and own 2 cats, a small dog, a bearded dragon and a small tortoise. So yeah our allergies have drastically improved. For the most part we keep it in the living room and bedroom at night. Not heavy to move around. It has multi uses but we wanted to improve our air quality overall. It is a bit pricey but thats pretty much all Dyson products. We own several Dyson products and have never had any issues with them. Then again we always purchase the protection plans that Bestbuy offers. Peace of mind. Overall I do recommend this product.

We still have the older model humidifier before we purchased this one as we thought that this should better. It turned out that it's more complicated and we reported problems with Dyson three times already. It definitely needs some improvements.

Humidifier keeping my plants thriving. Fan keeping me and dog cool. The 90-degree oscillation is very useful because of where it is placed in my room. The air reaches me wherever I sit. Love knowing how purified the air is through the app.

Spendy unit but it has all the quality of a Dyson. Easy to fill humidifier and has a large tank. The fan will really move some air but is kinda loud on the highest setting. Humidifier works well but takes a while.

Easy setup, getting it out of the box is probably the biggest challenge. Remote makes it easy to control. Smartphone app works well too. Integration with Alexa little less reliable. Too early to report on quality of filters and how long they will last. Currently recommend.

I love the ease of use and wifi connectivity. The app is convient and easy to use, although my inner nerd would like to see a way to download the data. We have put this in our living area to help with pet dander and dust. We have no other air filteration in the house. Its sensors work quite well and it usually turns up the fan speed a few moments after the dog shakes herself. It does struggle to keep the humidity level up and bring VOC levels down, however we have it placed in a larger 600sqft area and therefore cant expect it to perform as well. My only complaint is common with other dyson products. The size of the plug is ridiculous. Please move the power conditioning to a brick format or to an internal circuit card. The plug on this purifier is bigger than most laptop computer bricks.

I was very leery about purchasing this with the price of $750. Worth every penny. I have ran this almost non-stop since the purchase date 5/28/20. I am a 5-8 cigs a day smoker. So the air used to be funky. Well not anymore. And all of the filters are all still in the green. I would have thought with me being a smoker, I would be going through those filters more frequently. Those are a pricey $80 each. Not looking forward to the day I have to replace all. Could be looking at over $200. Will cross that bridge when the time comes.
