I was very skeptical when purchasing this product. This product was on the pricier side. I was looking for an air purifier when a saleswoman approached me. She immediately asked me if I considered purchasing a Dyson. I was first thought was negative since I knew Dyson products were usually on the expensive side. I was always under the impression that Dyson products were overpriced, that you could find another brand that would do the same job for a more inexpensive price. She explained to me that she had bought one for her mother and that it did a fantastic job. She even brought over a manager who owned one himself and was extremely pleased with the product. She eventually convinced me and I decided to purchase it and give it a try. Why not? I had a 2-week window to return it if I was not satisfied. Well after using it a couple of days I was amazed! I would put it on the 'auto' mode and you could immediately see how efficiently the device worked. If for example, I started sweeping the purifier would change to a higher, stronger gear/setting. Anytime there was dust or any smoke in the air the purifier would detect it immediately and work harder to eliminate any pollutants! It works harder until the pollutants were minimized or gone. It also successfully works as a cooler for the room on a warm day! I am an extremely happy customer.

I'm most impressed by the sleek, clean design of this dyson product. I purchased 2, 1 for each floor of my contemporary 2nd & 3rd floor apt & I'm most impressed by its quality & efficiency. It's perfect: quiet, safe & does a beautiful job keeping my apt cool & clean!

Exactly what I was looking for....expensive so that is the only con however when your ceiling fan is being replaced with a bedroom chandelier you need the next best thing....Dyon is definitely keeping us cool.

This purifier is just great you can feel the air cleaner and it’s great how you can control it from your phone.

Works great. I usually leave it on auto, and I hear it rev up when it detects allergens. I've noticed less dust in my bedroom. My favorite part though is being able to control it while in bed. If I wake up hot, I just open the app to turn it up. This lazy girl loves it. It gets 4 starts for being so expensive.

I bought this as a gift for my parents for the holidays. I thought this was awkward because who buys an air purifier for a present?. Well, someone who wants better health for their parents, that's who! Mom has several respiratory problems which have developed as she has gotten older. I honestly thought this would help a little, but I did not realize how much of a difference it would make. First, I'm not claiming it will help relieve respiratory ailments. What I will say though is you know how you have that older person smell become present as people get older? I came to visit after mom had plugged this in and set it up (by herself, BTW) and the first thing I noticed was that smell was gone! It was the home I remember from childhood where I had played video games, threw a baseball into the wall, broke the banister riding down the stairs... It just was. No deodorants, sprays, or odors noted. Also whenever I visit I always felt like I coughed and had a dry throat in the morning. That was gone too! So as a purifier I recommend this. Well worth the price.

Fantastic fan. Powerful and quiet. Use at night next to my side of the bed.

It's cool looking. Can controlled with your smart home system. But expensive. You could probably accomplish the same with a less expensive space fan and a smart plug.

I’m amazed at how much the air in my house has improved with theses filters. I bought three! I never realized or even thought about it. Especially after cleaning or moving furniture around. Wow! Little did I know how bad the air was AND how it was affecting me. I’m breathing and sleeping so much better inside since getting the filter. Noticeable immediately.

It is great but wasn't worth the price. I own a lot of Dyson products but this is the only one that didn't feel worth the cost. Works fine, but not worth the cost

I never imagined that I would ever buy a Dyson fan of any kind but I now own 3. This is a great product and lives up to everything Dyson says about their product. I love that I can control it from my Dyson app and that it has plenty of features. It is very quiet (not to the point you do not hear it at the highest speed) especially compared to other fans. You can adjust the fan speed, have it on a timer and their remote control is a great feature to have. You can disperse the "cool wind" or stream it so it is pointed and blowing on you or whatever you want it to be. The air quality is better and you can see it for yourself on their app and when you are in the room. I highly and strongly recommend this and other Dyson products. Truly worth the money!

There's not a ton to say about this other than it's typical Dyson fare: it's very stylish, works extremely well, but certainly pricey. Filter looks like it will last about 10 months, which is good considering that I run the device ~20 hours per day and also live in a major city. The app keeps tabs on what matters such as local air and weather conditions, filter status, target temp, etc. It's very easy to connect to WiFi and configure with app and I haven't had one issue yet with connection. My only very small nit-pick is that the remote is line of site infrared and the receiver is in the base of the fan so sometimes the fan fails to receive button commands, requiring me to more deliberately point at the base. One final note, if you have Amazon Echo and hooking up Alexa to Dyson is critical to you, I may steer you away from this device. Thus far, Alexa fails to connect to Dyson servers and authorize the connection, meaning I still cannot control the fan with voice commands. I think to 99.9% of people this won't matter but I figure it's worth noting. Regardless, this was a great buy and I love the capabilities of this appliance. I would not hesitate to buy another for other rooms in my home.

Easy to change filter and super quiet in lower speeds are a major plus, the dyson app is great as well to monitor temp and air quality, also great if you lost remote, use the app to control.

Needed an air purifier and fan that's all in one package. Does a good job at doing both. As with "Dyson" a little more on the expensive side, but well worth it..

Great air filter. Bought this to combat the forest fire smoke in the air and it worked well. Picks up pet hair and dust too.

I like the remote, small and easily usable. Also the app allows me to see graphically how the air inside has been all day. The machine is quiet and sleek

Does a great job. App is clunky and the remote falls off easily. It is quiet, but after less than a year of use, the 1 setting makes a small noise.
