I've owned a lot of Robot Vacuums and have owned Wet/Dry Vacuums. I have hard floors (wood and tile). Most wet robot vacuums have failed to live up to the ease-of-use expectations, because they require you filing the vacuum with liquid, or fitting a wet mop pad, or other manual interventions. The Dyson Spot+Scrub AI Wet Dry is the only wet vacuum that is zero touch - load the base station with liquid and you're done. There are some compromises, which I will explain. The big one is the Dyson is heavy and the base station is huge, like comically huge. This is not discrete and the base station at the top heght is is equivalent to the seat of my sofa. It's also heavy, VERY heavy. I had this delivered to home and it was a two person job to get the delivered box into the house. But that aisde, in use it's easy. Setup requires the Dyson app, you register and pair your Dyson Vacuum. It pairs fast and the voice prompts are in a British accent. The first run is a scan of your home and this is where I was wowed. The Dyson has a camera (yes, Camera not LIDAR) and there's a small green light that is thrown in front of the camera as it explored. I think this is also where the AI is real, becuase when it mapped my home it correctly identified the kitchen and dining areas - so there is smarts behind the camera. The app is intuitive and you can set schedules, set zones that are prioritized for wet vs dry, so I mop the kitchen regularly but the main hardwood floors I am doing when I feel it's needed and instead do a regular weekly vacuum of the wooden floors. The camera can spot stains and focus on cleaning spots, I haven't put that in practice yet and didn't do a ketchup make a mess test haha. The cleaning is very good and it's not noisy on the default setting. As you would expect with a Dyson. It's also easy to empty out and clean, the cannisters are smartly designed and have lift up carry handles (so yes, it's huge, but well designed and thought out). Overall, very happy and if you want a true wet dry easy to use robot vacuum you can't go wrong with this Dyson. Only caveat is Dyson doesn't ship this with cleaning fluid for the mop which is a miss. For the price, they could have at least included a sample cleaner liquid.
