The robot maps your home quickly and navigates well. I like to set it to vacuum the entire home then mop the floors as a seperate run/job. I have both carpet and hard flooring. The latest update seems to have given the robot more confidence as it gets closer to things like chair legs with its side brushes and it moves around more quickly. If updates keep coming and make more improvements to the robot and the app I would be very happy. Two things I do not like about the product as of now is that it is huge (tall and wide). The toe kick area for my counters are 0.25in too low so the robot can't reach under them and just bumps into the cabinets constantly. Selling side brushes that have longer bristles would probably be the easiest way to solve this problem. I also wish the app had a "favorite" routine setting that's not tied to scheduling. I don't really have a set schedule of when I am or am not home so I miss this "favorites" feature my old Roomba has in its app. Other than that, I am happy with both the vacuuming and mopping capabilities of this robot. FYI, I've been using the Bissell CrossWave PET PRO OXY Multi-Surface Formula instead of Dyson's own. It doesn't foam up and it leaves my floors clean. It's also easy to purchase since Dyson's one has been sold out forever.

I've used a lot of Robot Vacuums over the years, some great, some not so great but I had really high hopes for this Dyson Spot+Scrub because all of my Dyson products tend to shine in both form and function. When I first pulled this Dyson Robot out of the box, I immediately remarked how BIG it is. It is massive, both the base station but also the robot vacuum itself was massive. This contributes to probably the biggest flaw of the unit. IT IS MASSIVE and too tall to fit under my cabinets. Some units had problems with this too but they had a tower with some of the cameras and imaging to help get under cabinets, but this Dyson has real height issues so I wanted to cover this up front for anyone looking at this unit. I believe it needs about 4 3/4" to clear cleanly. If it hits any resistance on top, the vacuum will stop, it will back itself out and try again. There's a lot to like about this unit as well as some more negatives, but let me go ahead and cover the positives: 1. Single App shared with Dyson fans: This is kind of nice as you don't need to download a different Dyson app. All the functionality of this robot vacuum is in the same app and you can just load and manage this vacuum along your other apps. 2. Great App functionality: The app is definitely a strong point of the experience as you can easily choose which room you want to clean, watch in real time as your robot moves around, and also choose how each room is to be cleaned. So you can choose vacuum + wash, vacuum then wash, vacuum etc. You can also choose the strength of vacuum and how much water is used when washing. It works very, very well. 3. The MOP function is GREAT and the first of its kind that's worth using: Someone finally put a rollerhead on the robot itself and also put a good size clean and dirty water tank so that it can actually output a lot of water while it mops. The rollerhead does a much better job of previous units that just had a pad that kind of kicked dirt around and got dirty over time and required you to manually remove and clean the pads. This Dyson will actually clean the head, evacuate it and then also heat and clean the head while its docked. Very cool. This is probably the best feature of the physical unit. Another cool feature of the mop is that it will shift left and right on the robot to get closer to a wall or base board. 4. The Individual canisters are a nice touch. The trash canister has the typical Dyson livery and look to it but the handles for the clean and dirty water are also a nice touch. It does contribute to the massiveness of the unit but it feels good and quality. 5. The robot itself does a nice job of moving systematically, in rows to clean. It also reliably finds its way home and docks. I've had some units that would not reliably roll up their own ramp and needed to be lifted manually, what a pain! 6. The Dyson robot uses LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) so it can clean without the lights turned on! Its very cool the green light goes out and looks like something out of an Alien movie and you can see how the LIDAR green beam highlights the bits of trash to get cleaned. And here are some of the problems I had with the unit. I took off 2 stars because I felt 4 stars was still rating it too highly given the severity of the problems I encountered. It is possible they fix some of the issues and its a solid 4 star product, but many would consider the height and size issue a big enough problem to only give it 3-4 stars. - As mentioned the unit is very large. The height keeps it from sneaking in under cabinets with just over 4.5" clearance. Also, it is very wide too, so it likely won't fit between the toilet and vanity like my old one did and even in and around chairs if you don't put them up. - The Connection is VERY spotty. This is the other main reason I took a star off. I constantly saw No Connection to the robot unit even though the Wi-Fi would connect and I would re-pair and it would pair again. The robot simply did not show up in my phone even though some of the stats would update, like time cleaned. What I ended up doing was hitting the home button, and that seemed to INSTANTLY wake up and pair the robot with my phone so I could then start a job. Now I am watching the cleaning job complete and its been in synch the entire time. This can and likely will be fixed in an update but right NOW, I had to take a star off for this. But, try to hit the Home button on the robot and see if you can get it to pair if you run into this issue. - This is kind of minor, but they show a Dyson cleaning solution to put in the clean water tank, but the unit does NOT include the cleaning solution? What's up with that Dyson? People buy a thousand dollar vacuum from you and you don't include the cleaning solution? I tore the box apart and still didn't see it, if I missed it please let me know!!! - There is NO EASY WAY to invite a spouse or other family member into my Dyson account so they can kick off cleaning on their phone too. Other companies have solved this issue, unless I missed it (I spent 15mins looking into it) this is a major nuisance the software team needs to handle. - Personally I don't think it looks great like most Dyson units look, especially the fans/purifiers and the handheld vacuums. This Robot does not look like a high-end Dyson product if I'm being fully honest. The robot while being very quality in build and functionality, does not look like anything luxe. So there it is, if you have a newer home or apartment with kitchens that have flush bases with no indent and toekicks that are flush with the cabinets, you are good, but if you have overhanging or cantilevered cabinets you will want to make sure to measure. We're personally going to just use our Tineco to get under the cabinets for now but it is still annoying. We just love how well the roller mop cleans and also the vacuum function is also excellent with the power of suction and cleaning results. We also love how it is just 1 app to control 4 of our Dyson products. The roller mop, self cleaning and drying cycle show a LOT of thought went into this unit over at Dyson but they overlooked some of the basics. They can fix some via software updates but that height is a really glaring problem to miss.

For the last month, I've been testing the new 2026 model Dyson Spot+Scrub AI Wet and Dry Robot Vacuum. Overall, it's quick, quiet, easy to use, and performs phenomenally on wood floors and thin rugs. There is a lot to love about this Dyson Spot+Scrub. First, the vacuum quickly connected to my network and never dropped the connection. The app is intuitive and easy to use. It was always able to communicate with the robot vac, and it was easy to identify the specific spaces I wanted to clean. Performance is top-notch. It easily picked up all the dog hair in my house and mopped the floors to a streak-free shine. It seriously has the best suction and is significantly quieter than any other robot MopVac I have tested. It's also faster. Every time I have it clean, it cleans in half the time of any robot vacuum I have tested. Maintaining it is also simple; there are three bins that are extremely easy to fill or empty out. However, the only real drawbacks are its height and noisy cleaning cycle. It is about 1/4 inch too tall to clean under my furniture and cabinets, and at times, it didn't know its own strength. On a few occasions, it would wedge itself under furniture and get stuck or scratch up the top of the vacuum. While cleaning, it's as quiet as a whisper. However, when it returned to its base, it was noticeably louder when it was emptying and cleaning itself out. With that said, the Spot+Scrub AI is an excellent robot vacuum, and even with its drawbacks, it easily earns my recommendation.

The Dyson Spot + Scrub AI Wet and Dry Robot Vacuum feels like Dyson took everything they know about airflow, sensors, and obsessive cleaning engineering and gave it a brain. Now, Dyson has been in the vacuum business for quite some time and have done quite well for themselves. A few years back they decided to set into the world of robot vacuum and well that did not really work out to well for them, if you remember their first robot vacuum, until now. Introducing the all-new Dyson Spot + Scrub AI Wet and Dry robot vacuum cleaner. This is precision cleaning at its best, well for some areas that is. Let’s go over what the new Dyson has to offer. Design: Right out of the box, the design screams premium. It has that signature Dyson aesthetics, clean lines, transparent elements, and a build that looks more like a high-end gadget than a cleaning tool. Setting up the robot vacuum itself will take a few minutes, just putting some parts together and getting it ready to link up with the Dyson app. Once the linked up, the mapping process was pretty fast, I would say about 20 to setup a detailed map of my first floor, along with the area rugs and furniture. I do want to mention that is probably the largest and the heaviest robot vacuum that I have tested so far. Specs: Without the base Weight: 14.5 pounds Height: 4.3 inches Width: 14.7 inches Length: 14.6 inches As I had mentioned, this robot vacuum is pretty heavy for a robot vacuum cleaner, just keep that in mind. Not as simple for you kids to just move it back to base or move it around if needed. The second issue is how tall the robot vacuum clean is. This is about 4.3 inches in height, meaning it has a hard time cleaning in and around some of my household furniture, that my other robot cleaner has no issue with. This may not a big deal for some people but was a bit an issue for me because it not able to clean under and around my dinner table area. Performance: Where this thing really shines is its AI-powered cleaning system. The Spot + Scrub feature is the star of the show. I personally wanted to test out this feature to make sure it actually works as advertised and it absolutely does. To test out the feature, I smeared a bit of peanut butter on my laminate floor and watched this robot go back and forth a few times until it was completely gone, unlike my other robot which only does one sweep of the area and moves on. The wet and dry combo is also done right. Unlike a lot of hybrid robots that feel like they’re just dragging a damp cloth around, this actually scrubs. The dual-action system lifts debris while actively washing the floor, and it manages water distribution well enough that you’re not left with streaks or overly wet patches. Hardwood, tile, laminate, it handles transitions smoothly. Suction power is exactly what you’d expect from Dyson: strong, consistent, and noticeably better than my other known brand robot. Every time this thing goes out it always come back with something. Living in a house with 3 females, hair used to be an issue but no more—it picks everything up without needing multiple passes. And it’s surprisingly good along edges and corners as well. Battery Life: The stated battery life on normal settings is stated to be at about 200 minutes. My first floor is about 1000 sq ft. and I use this on the Boost setting and vacuums and mops without having to recharge and usually takes about an hour to hour and half. Overall, Dyson has done a great job with this robot vacuum cleaner. it cleans well enough that you don’t have to, sure, it’s not the best at squeezing under low furniture, but everywhere it can reach, it absolutely dominates. If you’re in the market and can overlook the bulkiness, this is definitely a robot I would recommend.

The Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai is the second robot vacuum that I have owned, the first being a once former leading brand in this space combo robot vacuum.  Overall, the Dyson robot is huge upgrade over the previous model I owned. Setup: Setup is pretty easy.  Once you unbox the robot and place it on the included dock, you use the MyDyson app to connect the robot to your wifi.  Once everything is setup, you can set the robot out to map out your house.  This process took about 20 minutes in my house (about 1500 sq ft mapped).   Pros: * The robot does a good job vacuuming and moping.  It is able to handle my tile, vinyl floors, and some higher pile rugs that even my regular Dyson can't vacuum.  The tile is shiny when the mopping is done and the floors aren't slippery. * The robot does not need any special bags or mopping solution (you can buy some to use in addition to water, but it probably isn't needed).  If you have previously used a Dyson vacuum, you will be used to the canister that the dust and dirt the vacuum collects will be put into once the robot docks. Cons: * The app to manage the robot vacuum could use some improvements.  I find it hard to manage the map.  The activity section of the app sometimes takes a long time to load * The robot is branded as an AI robot, but I don't how much AI it really has.  I still see it knocking into walls and it has gotten stuck a few times.   * The robot takes a while to dry after a mopping job, and the drying process is a little louder than I would like.  I wouldn't recommend keeping the dock in a main room of your house where you may get annoyed with the noise. Overall, the Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai is a pretty nice robot vaccum.  I think most people should put it on their short list if they are looking for a robot to help clean their house.

The Dyson - Spot+Scrub Ai Wet and Dry Robot Vacuum is better than all I've ever used. 1. Unboxing - the robot vacuum was packed extremely well in a sturdy box. The robot and base are both built well. All the necessary parts were in the box. No extra brushes, mopping rollers or mopping solution were included. The instructions consisted of only pictures but it was easy to follow and there was a QR code to download the Dyson app which provided additional info for setting up the machine. 2. Dyson app - the mapping of my house was easy to complete and was fairly quick but the rooms were not marked as well as in other robot mop/vac apps that I have used. It was a little difficult for me to distinguish the results of the mapping to select rooms as first. The obstacles/furniture in the rooms do not show clearly in the map. Other than that, the Dyson app worked well and completed cleaning as instructed in the cleaning settings. Other robot vacs and apps I have used would not work as instructed some of the time nor would vac and mop at the same time like this Dyson does. 3. Vacuuming - This robot vacuums well and senses dirt so it can automatically increase suction as needed and increases suction on carpets and rugs. The wet roller raises automatically when vacuuming. The brush bar is made of silicone so it lasts longer and does not get tangled with hair. The robot holds a lot of dirt and debris and then does a great job of emptying into the bagless bin in the base as needed. The bin holds plenty of debris. There is no dust getting out into the air since the vacuum filters them out. 4. Mopping - The wet roller cleans to the edge so not to miss parts of the flooring and it cleans itself as it goes. It is supposed to be more hygienic since it cleans dirty water off before it takes on clean water as it rotates. It has made a huge difference in our hard wood flooring and does not leave any streaks or residue like other robot mopping vacs. It automatically goes back to the base as needed to empty dirty water and get more clean water. The dirty water tank holds plenty and you can tell how well it is cleaning by looking at the water that comes off the floors. 5. Technology - This machine is the most technologically advance robot I have seen. It identifies spills and stains and adjusts its power and goes back over anything that needs additional cleaning to make sure it does a thorough job. Final thoughts - This Dyson Wet and Dry vacuum is the most advanced unit I have ever used and cleans better as well. This is a Dyson product which I have found is usually the top of the line but I had to see for myself. I am really impressed with most everything I've seen so far.

I have a home with four cats and about 80% of my 1st floor is hardwood, with one room being carpet. As you can imagine with pets, I get a lot of dander and shedding along with normal human dust and debris. The Dyson Spot and Scrub AI helps me stay on top of keeping my floors clean. Pros: - Clean floors. I had a robot vacuum and my wife and I both noticed the Dyson just did a better job. It did more to pick up cat hair and left our floors noticeably cleaner without streaks. - Bins are easy to remove, empty, and refill. - You can adjust the frequency of how often it goes back to clean its mop roller. I think this helps with the hygiene of the roller. - I like how easy it was to setup and get going. The Dyson app does a good job of walking you through each step and making it intuitive to get it going. - You can customize vacuum suction power to either be stronger (therefore louder) or quieter. There’s also an auto mode that will adjust depending on detected debris. - You can control how much water output the mop delivers depending on your preference. - Uses heated water to clean floors ensuring stains and spills can more easily be cleaned as well as making it more hygienic and assists with quicker drying floors. - Self-drying mop roller once cleaning is complete so you don’t have a wet mop sitting on the base. - Voice response keeps you in the know of what the vacuum is doing, where it’s going, when it’s done. The app: - I enjoy how responsive the app is and how quickly it connects to the robot. - Navigating the app is intuitive with typical options for mapping and function. - Setup schedules for when to clean and what rooms to clean. Multiple schedules can be created. - You can get statistics on previous clean including stains, debris, objects avoided, and locations where it got stuck. - Real time updates on robot location and its current status. Cons: - It can be a bit loud when it’s on the dock cleaning its roller. - The clean water bin is either smaller or it just goes through more water quicker than my previous vacuum as I’ve had to refill it more often. - I’ve had some issues with carpet with a bit taller piling getting pulled into the mop roller. - The “No-go Zones” in the app are a bit large for the smallest size. I’d love to be able to make them a bit smaller to avoid certain rugs or mats. - Room splitting in the app is limited to only vertical or horizontal. You can’t draw diagonal or custom lines where a rooms shape may not be exactly square. - Battery life isn’t great. If I do all of my first floor, which is 80% hardwood and 20% carpet, it still has to recharge before completing the whole run, a roughly 1,200 sqft area. - I wish it came with Dyson’s floor care solution. It does not. The Dyson Spot and Scrub has no shame sporting the Dyson design. With purples, grays, and reds, it’s unmistakably a Dyson product. Setup was very easy and there’s a large insert to get you going until you get the app installed. Once the app is installed and the vacuum is powered, follow the instructions to get it connected. First mapping run is quick as it uses the lidar sensors to map out walls, furniture, and obstacles. After unpacking and setup, I quickly got the water reservoir filled and added some other brand detergent to the detergent reservoir. I was a bit disappointed to see Dyson did not include their detergent as I wasn’t sure if what I had would work or not (it does). I had to use a funnel to fill up the detergent as the opening is a bit small for free pouring. I was excited for the first clean, as I have other Dyson products, and they do a great job, especially getting pet dander. My only complaint with those products, is the brush head isn’t quite wide enough and it just takes time to get the floors clean. With the Spot and Scrub, it can do the lions share of the work while I focus on corners and under furniture, where most other robot vacuums struggle to get anyways. After the first few cleans, my wife and I both noticed how well it picked up loose pet hair. It leaves a trail of water behind it that quickly dries and doesn’t streak. I contribute the heated water to helping the water quickly evaporate. Our other vacuum ran roughly 3-4 times a week and when the Dyson emptied it’s dry bin, I was surprised to see how much hair it had managed to pick up over my other vacuum. Before I setup some no-go zones, it did struggle with getting a few lighter matts wrapped up in its mop roller. I used the app to create the zones but was a bit disappointed I couldn’t get the zones to be smaller and more dialed in. The no-go zones work great and I no longer have to go rescue floor mats. When it goes to clean the mop roller the base station is a bit on the louder side. It’s a vacuum, vacuuming isn’t typically a quiet chore if you want a job well done, but just pointing out that you may not want to run it while watching TV or the kids are sleeping. It’s easy to ignore when it’s in another room however. Maintenance after it’s cleaned is fairly easy. If you use the app to find cleaning and maintenance, there are excellent short videos of how to disassemble and clean the different parts. There are a few removable cleanable filters, many of the bins can be removed and cleaned, and the rollers and brushes all are cleanable as well. There’s a large emphasis on making sure everything dries at least 24 hours before reassembling so just make sure everything is very dry before I’d say the one thing to be desired is the battery life. I can’t quite get a full clean without needing to hit the dock for a few minutes to get a charge. It does charge quickly. I’m estimating, but I believe it was around 30 minutes on the dock before getting back at it. It’s by no means a deal killer and I just consider it as a part of the routine now, but if you’re looking for a product that cleans quicker because it doesn’t need to charge, you may want to take this into consideration. For reference, I’m cleaning roughly 1,200 sqft, mostly 80% hardwood, and highest vacuum setting, lowest mop water setting, and cleans mop roller every 15 minutes. I’d say I could stretch battery life by making some adjustments but looking for best performance with a short battery break. I think this is an excellent vacuum. The few concerns are easy to overlook. The large no-go zones and limiting room splitter could be improved in the future with software updates. The noisy mop roller cleaning can be ignored if you don’t run it during watching TV or if you schedule jobs when you’re not home. My floors are cleaner than with my old robot and maintenance so far seems to be on par with others, maybe even easier. Time will tell once I get a few months usage out of it.

I’ve owned this AI powered Dyson wet and dry robotic vacuum for about 10 days now. Here’s some things I think you might find interesting, broken down into Good, Ok, and Not So Good categories. First, the Good: 1) The vacuum power is impressive, especially when set to “Boost” mode. I honestly think it compares favorably to most cordless stick vacuums on the market. Even “Auto” is sufficient for daily cleanings. 2) Edge cleaning is good. The bristles actually do a good job reaching all the way to the walls. 3) App provides lots of options for cleaning. From easy “set it and forget it” settings, all the way to customizing the vacuum strength and number of mop runs on a per-room basis. For example, I can set the vacuum to run on Auto on all the hard floors, then kick it up to Boost for the carpeted rooms. And the mop function allows adjustment of the amount of fluid used, along with the number of passes it does, all on a per-room basis. The Ok: 1) The original mapping was just so-so. I appreciate that it was really quick—it did my 4,000sqft house in about 1.5 hours. It took my previous robovac over 4 hours, not including the recharge part way through. Additionally, I feel like it did some rooms really well, then really botched others. For example, my entry way is square, not two stacked squares with an odd offset. The AI only does a mediocre job of putting the map together, so be prepared for a lot of map tweaking and adjusting. 2) Mop performance is good when the device has a clear path, but will leave large areas unmopped if something confuses it. I have a rug (runner) in the middle of my home’s main hallway. On either side of the rug is hardwood flooring that needs to be mopped, about 1.5 vacuum sizes in width. The mop does a great job cleaning the wood that borders the walls; however, it completely bypasses the wood closest to the rug (likely because it doesn’t want to wet the carpet). But it seems to me that it could make parallel passes along the rug if it wanted without soaking the rug. It doesn’t want to, at least not yet. Maybe an update will help that. 3) Like most robovacs I’ve experienced, the bristles will knock small and lightweight debris any which direction rather than pick it up. I sat and watched the vacuum bat around a fluff of pocket lint three or four times before I manually picked it up. This was on the Auto setting. The Not So Good: 1) The vacuum is large. Larger than my previous vacuum, especially in height. No big deal if it’s a little taller though, right? Wrong. This thing is tall enough that it doesn’t fit under roughly half of my cabinet ledges. I’ve attached a video showing the vacuum struggle to get underneath my standard height kitchen cabinets to clean up to the kick panels. In my kitchen, most of the daily debris from cooking ends up underneath the cabinet overhang, close to the kick panels…exactly where the vacuum can’t reach. To remedy this, I need to sweep under the cabinets before the vacuum runs. Bummer. 2) The Boost setting on the vacuum is pretty loud. I like to run the vac during the night when my family and I are asleep; however, the boost volume is loud enough to wake us up. Seems like this would be even more bothersome when running the vac during the daytime if you work from home. Just an FYI. I now run the vacuum on the Auto setting and that seems to do a good enough job. Final review: For the money ($1,200 at publish date), I feel like this is simply a “good” option in the robo cleaner realm, but maybe not yet “great”. I realize all robovacs have gotten crazy expensive over the last few years, but I’m not sure the AI and overall cleaning experience the Dyson vac provides are truly standout worthy reasons to purchase this over a cheaper option. However, if you have the money and you’re a fan of Dyson products, you will be well-served by the Spot + Scrub AI robovac. It does an admirable job cleaning (albeit with some caveats), has a really good app that provides plenty of programming options, and will eventually have lots of third-party components that will reduce the cost of maintenance over the years. For that, I give it 4 stars.

The Dyson Spot + Scrub AI Robot Vac is a vacuuming and mopping floor cleaning system. Unlike the last mopping floor robot I had, this one has a self cleaning wet roller that is said to be cleaning itself every revolution instead of relying on a pad that gets filthy and must be removed and washed. The system has a high contrast green light that with the help of artificial intelligence identifies places that need extra attention. The system will return to spots that need more scrubbing up to 15 times. The robot empties what has been swept up and mop water into the dock. The dock also dries the mop roller. The 2 bins that collect mop water and what has been vacuumed up are easily detached from the base and emptied. The third bun contains the mopping solution. There are no vacuum cleaner bags to buy! The dirt is removed from the robot with patented Dyson Cyclones and may be stored in the bin for up to 100 days. The mopping roller extends up to an inch and a half to help reach places that the vac can't quite get to. The vacuum suction self adjusts to the floor type and what it senses needs to be picked up. The roller is designed to reduce or eliminate the tangling that most brush type rollers deal with. The mop water is heated up to 140 degrees to attack the tough spots on the floor. The robot has LiDAR that makes navigation and mapping more accurate. Setup was a breeze other than that the Dyson mopping fluid was not to be found in any of the local stores or the Dyson website. I substituted the mopping fluid from my previous system which met the requirements I found on the internet. As with my previous systems, initial mapping took hours for my 5000 square foot area. Once the map has been created, the rooms can be named and boundaries drawn. After setup and mapping are complete you can allow it, through the app, to do the entire house or instruct it to do a single task such as mop the kitchen area or vacuum the entry hall. True to Dyson's claim, the robot returns to areas that it senses need more work. My past robots went back and forth methodically until the area was covered, this robot has its own system that looks to me like it is skipping around at times but the areas get covered. When mopping, unlike my past systems that leave a wet floor, this system leaves an almost dry surface making the floor ready for traffic sooner. In my kitchen, bar and butlers pantry the kick plates are recessed under the cabinet bases. The robot fits under the older cabinets and can go right next to the kick plates under the cabinets. Under our newer cabinets it's a mixed bag. The robot gets under in places and not in others. It gets stuck and has to back up in one spot. In one area it tries to get under and bounces off, then it extends the mop roller and tries again. It doesn't seem to hurt the cabinets but it has scratched the robot where it gets stuck. I think I need to draw a do not go boundary for the get stuck and bounce off parts. Other than that, it works better than I expected. This vacuum gathers much more dirt and pet hair than my previous system did. The mopping is head and shoulders above my previous system too. This at times rolls much faster than my previous system but it returns to the more soiled spots multiple times (as claimed) until it deems them clean. This really has cleaned better than what I have used in the past but at times at the expense of speed. I'll take slower with better cleaning. I'd have never guessed that AI would be helping me have cleaner floors. This system has been a worthwhile upgrade and I recommend it!

Still working like new! Dyson Supersonic Nural Hair Dryer/Styling System. Still working like new! The first thing we noticed out of the box is that the Dyson is a bit larger than the other Robot Vacuums we own. This surprised my wife and she was at first put off by its size but I pointed out that there were hidden benefits to this bulk. Yes, all of the water heating is done strictly in the docking station, and not within the robot itself. When done washing the floors, the tower cleans the mop pads with heated water and then dries them with heated air said to be approximately 100°F–120°F to prevent odor and bacteria from forming. In a word: Outstanding! Well done, Dyson! I already have the Dyson application on my iPhone for the products I listed above and so I just went through the easy steps to add the Dyson to my list. The unit quickly mapped out our upstairs and was ready to clean. Once mapping is done you can go in and edit your map naming rooms with ones such as Bedroom or give them custom names as well as draw borders to delineate between the rooms that have doorways such as upstairs bedrooms, bathrooms, lofts, media rooms, etc. It is easily done and saved all within the Dyson application! The Dyson combines a dual-laser LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) system coupled with an AI-powered camera to navigate and map your home as well as to avoid obstacles. It is FAST! When mapping is totally complete you can also select which rooms to clean and in what order they are done! This is great! The justifiably famous Dyson Cyclonic system is employed at the docking station for automatically emptying the robot's dustbin using Dyson's proprietary and powerful cyclonic technology. It is impressive to witness the amount of dirt this vacuum picks up and then transfers to the docking station canister. No bags are used in the Dyson or its docking station and when the canister is full you simply empty it out over your trash can just as you do with their excellent cordless vacuums. Again, outstanding and very economical in the long run. Dyson build quality is a hallmark of the company and I had one of their Animal Upright canister vacuums for years and gave it to a friend and she is still using it without any problems. I expect that with proper care and regular maintenance of filters and brushes, the Dyson will work for years to come. I am a retired Electronics Technician with nearly 40 years on the job and if you take care of your Dyson like I have done with all of mine, it should last for years! Lastly, I sent it out to mop and dry the tile and hardwood floor areas. My wife was skeptical but when it was done she was surprised and thrilled with the mopping job the Dyson did. And I? I was relieved and happy that she was happy! As the owner of many Dyson products, including their excellent cordless vacuums I must say that this newest version of their Robot Vacuum, the Dyson is worth the money because it does exactly what I expect from it with no real effort from me. The Dyson gets our carpets and floors clean as the proverbial whistle. This latest robot by Dyson is a powerful upgrade from their previous effort, it is one that I personally have no reservations about purchasing for myself or recommending it to all of you so...Highly recommended? Indeed!

I consider myself an early adaptor of combo robots (vacuum and mop) and have been using them for years. When it comes to brands, I stayed a continuous user of two brands that worked flawlessly and met my expectations without any major issues. When I first saw the announcement of the Dyson Spot+Scrub AI Robot Vacuum and Mop, it immediately caught my attention because of its unique design and mopping technique. My personal experience with this Dyson has been positive. I found the robot to be efficient, capable, and has a lot of functions that make it my best robot that I have even used so far. The unboxing experience was straightforward and frustration-free. Inside the box, all the parts are along with a quick start guide to get the robot up and running. It is worthening that there is no sample cleaning solution. Luckly, I already had a cleaning solution that I regularly use with my other robot cleaners that work on this Dyson, and this is based on Dyson's recommendations regarding the compatible cleaning solution. Assembly process was simple. The quick installation guide is enough for step-by-step installation. Once assembled, I added the robot to the Dyson app without any issues. As unusual with any robot vacuum, the first task was creating a floor map of my home. The app guided me through the entire process, and after running for approximately 45 minutes, the robot completed the floor mapping and returned to its dock with voice promotes indicating what is completed and what is the next step. The Dyson robot app provides a wide range of settings, managing the map, adding avoid areas, washing or mop only, etc. Also, the live animation of the robot during the cleaning and being docked for washing and drying the mop roller. I found it very useful and innovative. In terms of the design, this Scurb+Spot AI has a unique design with its LiDAR and AI sensors. The docking station has three cylindrical compartments one for dust, a dirty water tank, and a clean water reservoir with a separate compartment for the cleaning solution located behind it. Another feature that I liked is the bagless design, unlike other models that have disposable dust bags. Overall, the build quality is solid and well-engineered. The robot automatically fills itself with hot water and cleaning solution, wets the roller mop, and then begins the cleaning cycle. The roller mop intelligently moves from side to side, allowing it to clean and tackle dirt along walls which is impressive. In the first cleaning run, I was impressed by the significant difference in the result of the floor cleaning compared to other robots currently on the market. From my experience, I believe that the combination of hot water with the cleaning solution mixing enables this robot to perform and produce noticeable cleaning results. Real time monitoring through the app is another winning aspect because it allowed me to watch the entire cleaning process while loving from area to another. In approximately 15 minutes, the robot automatically returns to dock to wash the roller mop and fill with fresh water. In addition, I found that the navigation system on this robot is no doubt great tech. The 360-degree LiDAR navigation with AI-powered sensors enables this robot to navigate throughout the house without bumping into the furniture as well as detecting the dirt using its AI. One thing that I must share is that the drying cycle after the roller mop wash takes between 3-5 hours depending on the duration you choose on the app. My final thoughts, this Dyson Spot + Scrub AI vacuum robot delivers excellent cleaning results due to its combination of active scrubbing and hot water. Furthermore, it runs quieter than other robots and protects my furniture. I had an amazing experience and immediately fell in love with it, and it became my favorite vacuum robot for my daily use.

I love dyson products and now dyson finally released their second attempt on robot vacuum, but their latest one is spot+ scrub Ai that offers wet and dry feature. first impressions this vacuum is massive. the base is huge and the main robot is self is a huge step up from my previous robot vacuum. PRODUCT: inside the box you will get the base itself and the robot vacuum, you also get two brushes that you attached at the bottom. theres total 3 tank one for dirt and debris, middle tank for dirty water and right tank to fill up fresh water for the robot vacuum to use. one thing dyson does give you is the solution that you can mix with clean water it was odd for them to not even give 1 simple chemical to use. the esthetic of the vacuum has the signature dyson look special the dirt tank storage. APP: you are required to download the Dyson app to be able to use this vacuum. which requires for setting up. I did encounter some issue where it was having issues connecting to my wifi that requires me to delete my device and re add and restart the whole installation process again. you have the ability to start mapping the floor using the app. and the battery percent of the vacuum is also visible. scanning process was fairly quick and I was super impressed how quickly it scanned the whole floor. once you get your map data you have the option to view the map layout in 2D and 3D you also have the ability to choose a certain location or area our the house by choosing before starting a run. I think the dyson app is robust with settings. you can check your consumables meaning the parts thats being use and shows percentage of how close they are before needing to be cleaned or replaced. you have options for the type of wash you prefer, from using hot water or cold water. an option to toggle use solution but so far I dont see much change to the amount of solution inside the tank. You have multiple setting to choose from before starting a cleaning task. you can either just use vacuum without mopping or either vacuum or mop only. EXPERIENCE I love this ai Vacuum that dyson have, the Lidar is fast so mapping was quick my first floor is full wood and its about 1500 sqft, my kitchen and dining is on one open space so zoning was tricky when the map was finished. but luckily you have the ability to section and rename a location using the app. so far my main issue is the vacuum is a bit tall so the cabinet section in the kitchen is not being cleaned properly due to the height of this vacuum. I love the self cleaning roller so less work for the user. the auto self emptying is also a game changer you all the containers are easily to remove and emptying was simple. with the mopping features you will eventually develop a good amount of dirty water after each run on mopping mode. please make sure you empty the water as soon as possible because it can build a strong smell from all the dirty thats been removed on wooded flooring. I haven’t had issue with tangled hair on the vacuum and the vacuum seems to handle it without issues. CONCLUSION: overall this one of the best vacuum ive owned, great suction power, the app was easy to control , I did have issue with connecting and losing connection to my internet, its not my internet and seems more directly from the app itself but once I received the latest update the issue was none existent. I hope dyson would atleast sample a formula inside the box next time. and either make it a centimeter shorter so there wont be issues on cleaning under cabinets. amazing design, its easy to empty and it looks great. highly recommend dyson spot+ scrub.

For years my floor care has been a combination of a conventional Dyson vacuum for big messes and a couple of robotic vacuums for daily maintenance, which has worked quite well. Recently though I have moved into a new place that features a lot more hard floors than my old one, which had me rethinking my choice of carpet-oriented robots. And with Dyson offering a brand new robot with an integrated mop, I was curious to see if maybe I could finally reduce myself to a one-vacuum household. So for a few weeks, I tried relying exclusively on the robot for my cleaning. And here's how it went. The first thing I noticed, which I fully recognize might be a dealbreaker for some, is that this is a lot harder to ignore than any robotic vacuum I've used previously. Dyson's penchant for showmanship is on full display here with an abundance of eye-catching red and purple accents, a bright green "laser" scanning the floor in front of it to help highlight dust and grime, and motor noise. Lots of motor noise. Granted, I did start out with everything turned up as high as it can go, but even with it turned down somewhat I don't think this is ever something I'd be setting up to run at night or during nap times. That said, it's definitely not loud without reason. The first run ended up dumping so much dust and pet hair into the bin that I had to empty it right away and left the wood floors spotless. It really did look like I'd broken out the more powerful upright vacuum. The mopping performance, which uses a large roller brush mounted on a track to scrub the floor in two dimensions as it goes, is equally as impressive. I was worried at first that it might be sitting low enough to rub against the thick carpeting in the bedrooms as it passed, but so far at least the floors have stayed dry. And if they don't, well, addressing the problem should be fairly simple. The app that manages the robot is admittedly a bit obtuse at first glance, but a lot of that is due to how much functionality they've packed in. In an age where far too many are chasing overly simplified interfaces and one-click operation Dyson has thankfully provided us with the means to program the robot with cleaning routines that are as complicated as we need them to be for our spaces, and once you get the hang of it adjustments are straightforward and painless. At the end of my test, I did go in with my manual vacuum and clean everything the old fashioned way. And, sadly, I must report that I won't be retiring it any time soon. But it did show me that the Spot+Scrub was a notable improvement over what I'd been using before. Most of what I was picking up was coming from areas that robots have always struggled with, like baseboards, under cabinets, and anywhere else there just isn't enough clearance for them to bring their main brushes to bear. So assuming you can make your peace with the noise and bright lights, this is a pretty easy recommendation from me.

Big excitement for me receiving the Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai. I’ve been using Dyson products for years but never the robot vacuum. The previews of the Spot+Scrub Ai were amazing and made me want to give it a try. Shipping nowadays is really competitive and still I was surprised at how fast it arrived. It was packed neatly and tight which kept the contents from shifting during transport. Getting the Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai setup was a breeze and did not suck up my time. The included quick setup guide was useful to make it dummy-proof. I clicked the few pieces together, added the water, cleaning solution, and did the network connection using my Dyson app. It all took me about 10 minutes including the update. What’s in the box you might ask? User manual, Ai Dyson robot, charging station, and charging cable. I don’t know why they don’t include the cleaning solution. Unfortunately, if you purchased the Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai, you cannot effectively run it because you probably didn’t think of buying the cleaning solution. I would have preferred the Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai to be sleeker so it could maneuver around narrow spaces. Even when it does do a good job cleaning areas it can fit, the tight spaces are left for me to do manually. This is ideal for homes with minimal furniture and clutter because of the size of the robot vacuum. My Dyson kept getting stuck under the couch because of the height. I ended up making it a no-go zone to avoid the issue. Dyson should update the software to use the Ai technology to know what it can’t fit under so it doesn’t get stuck. I like the cleaning of the Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai because you can see what it picks up and you can see the dirty water. I’m still excited about the Dyson robot vacuum and I’m hoping the future updates of software will make it better. I do like that after mopping the floors it dries the roller after the cleaning cycle. I see condensation in the clear window of the vacuum. I think it will eventually grow mold or smell musty. I don’t think it’s drying out the vacuum entirely, which would be the way to go. I’m going to continue using this Dyson until something better comes out or if they improve things with some software updates.

This review is for the Dyson Spot + Scrub Ai wet and dry robot vacuum cleaner. First impression is that this thing is huge. ok ok it's not that much bigger than my other robot mop/vacuums, but it is the biggest. You will need basically need an area 2 foot wide and 2 foot deep for the base. Set up was a breeze and the app is easy to navigate. It did take 3 different times of trying to map my home till it found all the rooms. But this was no big deal to me as you just tell it to start mapping and then you go about your day, Then when done you see what it came up with. It divided and split up rooms pretty well on its own. But you can easily do some fine-tuning of this in the app. You can even set up each room's own routine. Things like mop with high water volume twice in the kitchen. And then in lower volume areas drop the water to low level and mop once. We have a house full of kids and pets. This unit does have a hard time with legos. But the small toys it is able to pick up. You can easily find/see once it docks and empties into the clear bin. This is one feature none of my other units have. I like being able to see all the dirt and debris that it picked up and emptied into the dock. I do feel like my dyson needs the clean water refilled more often then my other units, so I wish the clean water bin was bigger. But that is not too big of a deal. All three of the bins (clean water, dirty water, debris) can be removed and replaced very easily. I have been very happy with the performance of both the mop function and the vacuuming. I use them both everyday.

The Dyson Spot+Scrub AI does an excellent job cleaning both hardwood and carpeted areas. Paired with an easy to use app and low maintenance design, this robot vacuum is a great way to keep living spaces clean with little effort. Set up In the box there is basic documentation demonstrating the initial steps to prepare the unit and connect it to the Dyson app. The app contains short videos showing steps on how to clean and maintain everything. It’s relatively straightforward to use and takes just a few minutes to update the firmware - following that is getting the floor mapped. Mapping was pretty quick as the robot briefly scanned each room and moved on. Scheduling Options include different clean types for vacuuming and washing (or a combination of both), vacuum modes (auto, quick, quiet, boost), and hydration level (how much water used when mopping). There is also a setting for wash repetitions - how many times the robot will wash the floor (1 or 2x). One slightly minor inconvenience is that when creating a schedule for a floor with many rooms, the user needs to select the vacuum and wash options separately for each room. Cleaning During the cleaning process, the app will display what the robot is doing at each stage. Further in the settings page there is an option to wash floors with hot water only, and a separate toggle to clean with or without cleaning solution. I made the mistake of putting in regular Pine Sol which made the robot leave suds everywhere, but thankfully I was able to easily pour it out from the dock and use water as the recommended alternative. In my case, the robot will clean about a total of 390ft (takes about 1.5 hrs) or so, and part of that includes a living room area with a low pile rug in which it transitions from mopping to vacuuming without much problem. Unfortunately due to the height of my kitchen cabinets it cannot completely reach into the toe kick area. There were two cases where it did have trouble with obstacles - once was its attempt at climbing out of a small space under the TV console (hardwood floor to the pile rug) but after a few tries it got itself out without assistance. Another instance was when a walking pad/treadmill was moved into the middle of the room during the robot’s cleaning session and it became confused - bumping into the treadmill constantly. Once I was done with my exercise it went back and cleaned the area though. Other notes The overall sound it makes while cleaning is not as loud as I had expected (I left the vacuum mode on ‘auto’). Although it can be heard from another room, it’s still quieter than the typical vacuum noise. When the vacuum mop roll is being heated and dried on its dock it does make a whirring sound every few minutes, presumably coming from the mop roll being rotated over time. There is also a slight heat that the dock gives off - not a lot, but it’s noticeable as it takes a few hours for the drying to complete. One other thing is that so far after 3 cleanings I'll need to refill the water tank - not a big deal in my opinion as I take the dirty water bin out and give both a rinse at the same time. Overall, it did a great job cleaning and mopping - my floor feels less ‘gritty’ and smoother for sure. I was surprised by how much dust was collected in the dock after the first cleaning. Coupled with its low maintenance design, the Dyson Spot+Scrub AI is a robot vacuum worth considering for anyone looking for a vacuum robot.

I'm a long time user of robot vacuums. My experience goes back over a decade to the early Neato units. I upgraded the Neatos a few times before they went under and I changed to Roombas about 3 years ago. I've seen some really good vacuums and more than a few really bad ones. Now that iRobot was bought out by China's Picea and my Roombas are beginning to fail, it was time to change companies again. Enter the Dyson Spot+Scrub. I have always been a big Dyson fan- I love their fans and vacuums. They tend to be more expensive than other brands but the performance makes it worth it. While their first two attempts at robot vacuums kind of bombed, I had big hopes for the Spot+Scrub. I really, really wanted it to be my solution going forward for my robot vacuum needs. Unfortunately, I came away pretty disappointed and frustrated. My house is 3 floors each about 1500 sqft each. The top and bottom floors are 100% carpet, so the Spot+Scrub would have nothing to mop. The main floor is about 50% hardwood flooring and 50% carpets, so that is where the Dyson was used. The vacuum comes very well packaged and upon removal, you can see how LARGE the system is. I mean, it's big. The vacuum itself is much taller and wider than any I've owned before and the base station dwarfs my Roomba base. Setup was easy enough. Place the base station, remove protective packaging around the vacuum, place it on the charger, and fire up the app (I used an iphone). The app is pretty well made. Setup was simple and the app found the unit quickly. There were a few tutorial videos, some configuration setting, and the system was ready to go. I set it off to map my main floor. This took a number of tries and a few hours with my Roomba J7. The Dyson came up with a decent map in about 30 minutes. Naming rooms and dividing large areas up in the app was simple. I basically split my floor into 5 areas and gave them all names. I ran the unit in vacuum only mode in a carpeted room and it ran well. I filled up the mop reservoir and tried the mopping in my entryway. It did OK. Open areas were mopped, but anything bordering an area rug wasn't touched. I set up the schedule to run two rooms (vacuum and mop) on MWF and the rest TTh. The good things encountered included solid vacuum performance (when it ran properly), quiet operation, it mopped fairly well but stayed away from carpets, and returned to the dock correct. It emptied the dirty water well and the cyclone sytem for debris worked great. The app gave good info on what it was doing during operations too. But that was about it. On the downside, the list was really long. The dock was set up on carpet (best placment for it in my house) and the unit struggled getting on/off the dock. It would get held up trying to turn off the dock before it had completely left it and got struck about half the time. I had it set to clean two rooms each day but it failed 80% of the time. Sometimes it would get into the middle of the room and just stop to think for 10 minutes. Sometimes it would be in the middle of an empty room and declare it was stuck or it's (clean)_ sensors was blocked. More often than not when it did run, it went around the edges of one of the two rooms then went back to the dock and declared the job complete. It wouldn't clean the middle of the room nor ever enter the second room (an upside was it respected boundaries between rooms really well). I tried for days to fix this but never could. That included changing rooms, deleting maps and remapping, deleting schedules and starting a new one. It just kept going around the edges and finishing in 10 minutes. If I ran it manually selecting the same two rooms, it ran fine. When it came to running the next day in the other rooms, it did the same thing. When it came to running the next day in the other rooms, it did the same thing about half the time. I never was able to fix it. The app has a nice feature where you can pull up it's recent activity so you can see what area was covered, but even that had a bug in that to get the most recent run, you had to kill the app and reopen it. Frustrating. The vacuum was also too tall to get under my furniture and cabinets. The other big issue I had was the two spinning side brushes are horrible. They are made of a soft plastic or rubber. I have medium pile carpet with a soft pad under it. My other robot vacuums had no problem with it. The Dyson brushes would get caught on the carpet, bend at weird angles, and actually lift the front end of the vacuum up. Instead of sweeping out to the sides, they were mangled and sweeping just underneath the vacuum (see picture). The unit also got stuck because one of these mangled brushes got it's bristles caught in the wheel mechanism. It's a really poor design. In the end, the Dyson is not going to be my cleaning solution. While the vacuum power is excellent and the app has potential, there is just too many problems with it. The unit is a week old and the side brushes already look like they need to be replaced. You can't trust it to properly clean when scheduled. The mopping is meh and won't go near carpet edges. And the unit is so large, my wife doesn't want it in our living room. I really wanted to like this, but I'll have to keep looking

For some context, I’ve owned 4 other robot vacuums, including two that both had a vacuum and mop option, as well as two other Dyson vacuum products. As a whole, I’m always excited to try a new Dyson product because they tend to perform on another level. One of my favorite Dyson vacuum features from my upright is the green laser that lets you easily see where there is dust or hair that needs to be picked up. Dyson adopted the same technology for this robot vacuum, but now its cameras and AI on the vacuum itself making use of the improved visibility to dust and hair. One of the complaints I sometimes have from robot vacuums is they are clumsy, mindlessly bumping into anything and everything as they roam your house. The system this Dyson robot has setup significantly prevents that from happening. Since it has both green lasers to illuminate and cameras to combine with some AI evaluation, it did remarkably well navigating my house without incident. One thing I was pleasantly surprised with was the room mapping functionality. It mapped my entire downstairs in 10 minutes, with a significant degree of accuracy that I don’t see from other robot vacuums. As for cleaning, my first task was to send it down our hallway which historically collects dustballs, and its auto-empty base allowed me to see exactly how well that worked. I was very happy with the results. Some minor gripes: - There was no cleaning solution included. Both of the non-Dyson branded robot vacuum/mop combos came with one bottle of the recommended cleaning liquid. The mop function works without it but it was disappointing to see it left out, and I tore apart the packaging several times assuming I made a mistake. I checked the box label for package contents and it makes no mention of cleaning solution. - After my initial setup, it did a software/firmware update, which was fine. However after it did, it wasn’t responsive in the app until I went back to it and turned it on again. I’m hoping it was a one off but it possibly could happen with every update. Mostly a minor inconvenience they could/should fix with an update later. Overall I’m very happy. It’s larger than any other robot vacuum as is the base, so make sure you plan accordingly. The plus side is a larger tank before things need to be emptied. Would recommend based on my experience so far.
