Yes, it's expensive-- but like buying any Dyson product you truly get what you pay for. The best appliances in my house are Dyson, but this one is my personal favorite I have gone through 'cheaper' hairdryers that just cook my hair and scalp. Also they were TERRIBLE to control-- this one is so easy it's like you're hardly holding anything. I honestly wish I bit the bullet a while ago and just bought this ages ago. It's light, it's fun to use. It cooling mode is INSTANT. I have the wide tooth-comb attachment and I HIGHLY recommend you get that to style your hair better. Just do it. Just get it. It's a life changer for hair. Also it is aesthetically pleasing-- it's GORGEOUS.

Included with this hair dryer is a case and 5 nozzles (diffuser, concentrator nozzle for styling, smoothing nozzle, smoothing nozzle, Nozzle for gentle drying) The case is so pleasant to the touch that you want to touch and touch it. The hair dryer itself is also very pleasant to the touch. The motor in it is very powerful, it is two times smaller than usual, due to this it is light compared to a conventional household hair dryer. (It's very tangible) It fits very well in your hand. This hair dryer works much quieter than a regular hair dryer. Very convenient control of the power and temperature of the airflow, 2 buttons that are located on the ring. There are 3 modes that can be adjusted by pressing a button. A cold air supply button and a slider on the handle. If you need to make a cold air flow, then you need to press and hold the cold button. Air is blown out from the back of the hair dryer, and there is also a metal ring that is attached to the nozzles on the hair dryer. I think it will be very difficult for me to return to a regular hair dryer after it. Light, quiet, the hair dries really faster than any other household hair dryer. This blow dryer is like a power tool. No joke. My husband got a new welder for Christmas so he bought me this crazy expensive blow dryer. This thing is so powerful, my hair only takes about 5 minutes to dry. I do have fine hair but it is long. Its quieter then my last blow dryer even at full speed. This one came in a set that has a stand that you can put the dryer on and a little rubber pad so it wont slide off of your bathroom counter when not in use. The best and funnest feature is the magnetic attachments. It is so cool to stick the different attachments on, yes they are strong enough that they hold and do stay put in the direction that you place them. I do mine at an angle because that is how I use my round brush. When I dont use any attachments the dryer is strong enough that it tangles my hair because it's like being in a mini wind tunnel, which is a good thing. You can always turn the power and heat on it down with the different settings if you need to. On the hottest setting it's not too hot, my kids never complain as they did with my last one. The cord is so long that I think professionals would love it because you can walk so far with it. The cord is thick and heavy duty and theres a safety plug on it. My old dryer used to trip the power in that outlet but this one has no problems whatsoever. Another cool feature is how you clean the vent, you simply twist the bottom and the cage drops around the cord so you can just clean it in a flash and wont ever lose that cap. Very happy with it, its pricey but its fast!

here are many great hair dryers. For my family, TIME is the issue. Who has the time to sit around drying your hair?? We want a dryer that works fast so we can get to what we need to do. Although very expensive, this is the best dryer to get the job done quickly. The rapid flow of air combined with high heat dries more quickly than the other less powerful products. Yes, this is terribly expensive, three or four times the cost of some very fine hair dryers. But if you want the best, and a few minutes of saved time each day means a lot to you, then this is the product for you. Like other Dyson products, this is a well engineered and finely made product, very worthy of a fine set of hair care tools. Also, it is relatively small in size, and more easily stored and dealt with than the other dryers which are much larger. The electrical cord if heavier and shorter than for other driers, but that issue is not a deal breaker, given the other advantages of this fine product.

What a powerful hair dryer. Well it better be for this price, lol. It does dry my hair really fast and honestly I plan to have this dryer the rest of my life. I like all of the attachments too.

I had a old sedu hair dryer for 10 years and was finally in need of a up grade. I was hesitant about the price, but this dryer is amazing!! My hair is super thick and this dries it a lot faster, my hair dresser told me I should invest in one because it would be great for my hair and cut my dry time in half and she wasn’t wrong. I like the attachments it comes with and how easy it is to switch them or even style my hair. It gives me volume which I never have because my hair is so heavy and thick. I have noticed my hair is shiny and seems to be not as damage with the intense heat from my previous dryer. I also use it on my daughters hair which is extremely long and tangles easy, her hair is a little thinner then mine and finer but it works amazing on hers as well she was so happy with how shiny and soft her hair felt. I really can’t say enough good things about this dryer.

As someone with super long, seriously curly hair, I don’t know how I lived in a world without THIS blow dryer. Yes….I almost vomited as I was swiping my debit card…..seriously $400 I kept asking myself!?!? But let me tell you this is the Mercedes Benz of blow dryers. If you have any type of curly hair then 10/10 this thing will give you the hair dreams are made of. After the first time using it I have never once regretted buying it and that is a FACT! I use the diffuser every day and my hair has never looked better! Oh yeah I forgot the best part…….it’s so fast! My hair is thick and this dries my hair in less than ten mins. I love love love love love this thing! Can you tell?

Great and light and it blow dryers hair quickly only thing is the cord is short and it limits ur range and for a stylist range is important to be able to have the range to move freely around the client

The Dyson hair blow dryer exceeded the expectations of natural care! It has three levels of heat and three levels of wind power! The power that comes out is magically silence! It’s lighter than my old babyliss blow dryer I have. I use it at the salon all the time. dries hair super fast and it’s very powerful. I love that it’s not as loud as a regular blow dryer as well.

I have extremely curly hair that frizzes easily. I have been using a cheap blow dryer for several years now, and always thought my hair was the problem. Since switching to the Dyson Super Sonic, my hair has been so much more manageable. I can straighten my hair once and go several days without even needing a touch-up, when before I would need to do touch-ups each morning. It also makes my hair look smooth, where before it would be obvious to most people that my hair is not naturally straight. Everyone who has use my blow dryer, like my mother-in-law who is visiting for the holidays, have fallen in love with it and want to get one for themselves!
