I was on the fence because of the price, but wow — I regret not buying this sooner. I have very thick, long hair and this dries it in minutes. It feels gentle, never too hot, and my hair looks healthier and smoother than with any dryer I’ve used before. Total game changer.

Look, I’ve seen cheaper hair dryers that sounded like a leaf blower having an existential crisis, but this Dyson? It’s the quiet, smug overachiever of the bathroom counter. Dries my wife’s hair in what feels like half the time it used to take—meaning I get to breakfast before noon for once. No more arm workouts that leave her looking like she’s been doing resistance training with a hot wind tunnel. Hair comes out smooth, shiny, and suspiciously undamaged, like it’s been to a spa instead of blasted with 110,000 rpm fury. Yes, it costs more than my first car (alright, fine, my second car), but when she steps out looking like she just walked off a 90s music video set—think “I’m Every Woman” levels of glow—suddenly the price tag feels like an investment in marital harmony. Attachments click on magnetically like they’re flirting with the dryer. Quiet enough that I can still hear myself complain about the bill. Bottom line: If you’re tired of mediocre blowouts and frizz that could power a small wind farm, this thing is worth every overpriced penny. My wife is happy. I’m happy. The neighbors probably think we’ve hired a personal stylist. Highly recommend—unless your budget is still stuck in the Back to the Future era. This is an amazing hair dryer with cutting-edge technology which is path-breaking in this segment. I have used different kinds of hair dryers in the past but nothing comes close to this one. This has multiple features to protect the scalp and hair. The most amazing one is the Scalp protect mode that ensures to protect the hair right from root to the tip and provides long-term shine and prevents the over drying which is the most common drawback of all other regular dryers to give healthy looking and smooth hair. When this mode is ON, it automatically lowers heat when the dryer gets close to the scalp and when it is OFF, it allows to manually choose my heat setting. For quick results use the 'High' setting for fast drying and styling, select 'Medium' for regular drying, and use 'Low' for gentle drying. And when it comes to heat settings, it comes with four options. The first one is 212°F for fast drying and styling, the second one is at 176°F for regular drying, the third one is at 140°F for gentle drying, and the last one is at 82°F for constant cool To top it all, use the Wave+Curl diffuser to enhance the natural curl pattern with two modes that disperse airflow in two different ways. The Dome mode draws air into the dome and infuses it through the hair to enhance natural waves or curls for a more defined finish. This remmebers my styling pattern and automatically adjusts to the same fan speed and heat setting to give the same look over and over again. I do not have to memorize anything and let this do its job. With each different attachment it can keep the setting separate from each other. What more can I ask for, as when there is no activity the dryer automatically switch off the heater and also reduces the fan spped but quickly gets back to its job when reactivated. Overall, the hair dryer is a wonderful addition to my hair care collection and provides the much-needed satisfaction that my scalp will be protected at all times while using this dryer. I recommned this to all the potential users of hair dryer.

Purchased for my wife as a Christmas gift. She absolutely loves it. Stated that it dries her hair much faster than the Shark that she previously had. Bonus, all the attachments that she could possibly need were included.

My wife loves her new dyson hair dryer. I can't comment much on hair results but I can say the build of this product is quite impressive. It's not the lightest hair dryer but it's a solid machine. Power cord is heavy duty. The magnetic attachments are solid and air flow is top notch. Is it worth the price? My wife thinks so. It's a Dyson and anything Dyson comes at a higher price. I'm just glad it was on sale.

Look there is no denying this is a super expensive hair dryer. That said it is super high quality, quiet and high tech. This unit even senses your hair temperature and adjusts the heat so as not to burn your hair. This is just one cool feature. The short of it I would say between look, style and functionality and intelligence this hair dryer is highly recommended.
