So easy to vacuum stairs now, and just around the house. I can vacuum about 1000 sq ft before the battery dies. Note that the filter actually needs to be removed and cleaned (just a water wash) about once a month; I didn't know that for about 4 months and it was noticeably more powerful after the first cleaning. Pretty straightforward to do, Dyson has a 1-min youtube video on it.

This V 11 is unbelievable! I have an older Dyson which I thought was really good, which it is, but this new on is incredible! Great suction.....Picks up everything! The auto mode really works well! This V11 feels like a Ferrari or a Porsche. So well built and works great! I highly recommend this vacuum! With the cost being almost $500, I was apprehensive, but it is so well worth it!

Best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. I have a labrador retriever who constantly sheds. This vacuum picks up hair that was missed by other vacuums i have owned before. This vacuum is light weight and easy to handle. It is easy to empty the dust bin when it gets full. I like the clear dust bin so i can see exactly when it is full. The accessories work well.

First cordless stick vacuum and it makes vacuuming very convenient. This model does have a click-in battery, so if you buy an extra battery you could vacuum for twice as long. But I tend to vacuum in 2-3 min spurts as I see crumbs or dirt on the floor and don't really have to charge the battery too often. It picks up alot of stuff that's not easily seen.

I love this vacuum! Very lightweight! I bought it to use for touch ups between cleanings. Between being lightweight and not having to worry about a cord dragging around it makes the work so much easier. It's got good suction, too. It's a little pricey for what I purchased for, but it would work for full-time use.

The V11 origin is my now my go-to vacuum cleaner. I never realized how much I hated using a corded vacuum, until I put this in my hands. Such a hassle unwinding the cord, plugging it in, dragging it around, getting hung up on things, moving to another outlet when you've run out of cord. What a pain. The suction on this small device is pretty insane, it's got torque you can feel when you grab the trigger. I have a house with a toddler and all hardwood floors linoleum and a few area rugs. The origin is perfect for my situation. On auto mode it adjusts suction on its own when you roll from a hard floor to a carpet and back on to a hardwood floor. It's relatively light, the battery seems good to go, the point and shoot bagless system is legit. One of the negatives with any modern bagless vacuum is when you empty it you get all the nasty dust and hair and junk you just vacuumed, all over your floor. With this vacuum, you aim the bottom of the vacuum into a trash can and pull the red lever, it shoots everything you vacuumed into the trash can. No digging you hands in there or having to touch gross things. What a great idea! Look, I know this vacuum is pricey, but it's worth it if you have alot of hard floors in your house. I have several Dyson products in my house and they all operate flawlessly, the V11 is no exception. Pros: Cordless! Point and shoot large bagless system Light Strong suction Strong battery Auto surface detect Wall hanging kit included Cons: I can't think of anything I don't like about this machine, maybe they could have included a few more attachments at this price. Other than that, it's good to go.

It was really hard to justify the cost, but once we finally bought it and used it it was worth every penny. Light, cordless and powerful. We originally got it for the kitchen area, but it cleans so powerfully we have started using it all over. The price is steep but personally, I think it’s worth it!

I have a golden retriever a Labrador, both shed a ton. This vacuum does the job. There is not a lot of issues with fur being tangled. occasionally there is a clog before getting to the bin. I invested in this because cheaper vacuums have given me problems with the amount of fur my dogs shed. The filter is good. Most other vacuums kept that heavy god smell and released while in use. This one does a good job preventing that. It has a very heavy price tag on it. I feel like there are other vacuums out there that can do as much for a better price.

I recently welcomed two dogs into my house when my partner moved in. Living alone, I didn't even need a vacuum cleaner because I have all hardwood and sweeping and mopping were sufficient But, dude, all the hair! It's everywhere! Everyday, there's more of it! The thing I like about this Dyson is that it's got a sensor for both hardwood and carpet. A lot of other vacuums really don't do well on hardwood. It's lightweight, and it can do more than my small house in single run. I can't tell you about how it works for carpet, but it's amazing on hardwood. It also has an amazing swiveling head that makes it possible to get into some tight corners. My partner loves it. Obviously it costs a lot, so I took a long time deciding, but I'm really happy enough with it to think it was worth it.

I am partial to dyson products and wanted to try a cordless but was afraid it wouldn’t have the same power as a traditional vac. I was so wrong. This vac’s suction surpasses my traditional dyson. Easy to store. Very easy to maneuver. Just can’t say enough great things about the cordless tech.

Purchased 2 years ago and I do have to say ILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING ELSE!! This vacuum definitely SU*KS, light weight and easy to clean.. dysons help desk and warranty is up to par.. we work with a rescue and foster dogs. I bring this outside the vacuum there outdoor mats/rugs. For the abuse we put this dyson through I am 100 surprised it lasted longer than the 8mos I get out of all the other vacuums. THEN To my surprise dyson offered to look at it if I shipped it to them, I did pay for shipping but it was so worth the $18 in shipping because when we got it back it looked BRAND NEW and works like it did two years ago.

I have only had the V11 for about a month but so far it is what I expected. We have had a Dyson upright for about 12 years now and it still runs great and we have never had a problem with it. I did not expect anything different from this. So far we have only used the V11 for cleaning up the hardwood floors of cat hair tumbleweeds and some quick spills so I can’t really elaborate much other than it worked. The best thing is being rechargeable and more portable so it is easy to grab quickly instead of dragging out the corded one. I found a floor stand online which is much easier than drilling the charging station into the wall. I do highly recommend that if you don’t have a great place to hang it. I am looking foreword to cleaning out the car with it today but I do expect it to be a little difficult to maneuver in some areas but I am sure there are tools you could purchase to make that easier. The other nice feature of the V11 is the battery is removable to you can purchase another although like everything Dyson they are expensive.

Once the battery was charged, the vacuum worked very well. I was surprised that it was able to pick up all the dust even that was not seen. The only issue was that the serial number is not recognized while trying to register the vacuum online.

I have had this for a week and absolutely love it. The suction is very powerful and the Auto function switches well between surfaces. I use the boost mode for sticky stuff in the kitchen and this works as a charm. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful vacuum. The best suction of any vacuum I have owned. It can easily go from carpet to hardwood. It is wonderful not to have a chord. Easy to vacuum carpet on the stairs and hands free dust cup empty.

Great engineering! This vacuum works very well and is pleasant to use. The quality is excellent and well put together. The accessories snap on and off with great ease. The suction is great. I've never enjoyed vacuuming until now.
