We have had this for over a month now and I have never been happier with a vacuum. I have an 11 and 8 year old and they are constantly offering to use it because it's so great. The best part is, it's light enough for them to carry upstairs to their bedrooms and sweep without my help at all. I have a 3 year old white lab and dark floors, hair shows constantly. We use to sweep it with a broom everyday, not anymore! This is amazing. I have never had the battery run out on me and had to wait for it to charge. I just keep it on the charger constantly and use it and plug it back in. I swept my entire basement, my huge couch and the basement steps with no problems. Highly recommended! And it's not even just the convenience of a light-weight, cordless vacuum. It is the most powerful vacuum I've ever owned!

very easy handling, light and clean well. Can use to clean car by the small head. If the battery can last longer it will be better.

This vacuum is worth the money. So far no complaints. the only one I have is I wish It had a bigger dirt canister but then again it wouldn't be as light and portable. My wife and my 3 year kid cant get enough of it they want to vacuum all day any dirt or trash. Another thing like cereal it kind of gets stuck at the bottom to suck it up. got to lift it a bit to grab it. other then that Its power ful and wish the battery was a bit longer.

The only thing that sucks about this vacuum (no pun intended) is that you'll be sad when you're done cleaning because it's so much fun!!! Would not recommend for large houses or spring cleaning due to limited battery life. Great for small houses or apartments. Also great for pets. No cord... Just pick it up and go! The suction is extremely powerful! It will not only make your floors, carpets and rugs look brand new, but I have noticed an overall freshness in the air. You will be amazed at what it picks up... Just look in the canister!!! Two things I would improve on... 1. Add two LED lights on the floor piece (for seeing in dark places) 2. Install a "closing flap" inside the canister so that small things (kitty litter) don't fall back down the tube when you go to hang it up. Ask Best Buy for a coupon... They gave me the pink one for 20% off. This vacuum is AMAZING!!!

I spent a lot of time going back and forth between the other options in Dyson's Cordless Stick Vacuum lineup. I needed something that would work on tile floors, rugs, carpet, and needed it to be good at picking up animal hair. I concluded that all of Dyson's options have the same internal specifications and power...the only difference is the attachments that come with each one. Originally I wanted the V6 Animal since I have a dog, but I was unwilling to pay the $100 difference simply for two attachments. Then, BB had the V6 Motorhead as their "Deal of the Day" for under $300 so I figured I would go for it. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and have no complaints so far! I know other reviewers may complain about the battery life, but it's perfectly fine for my small apartment and I haven't run out of juice in each individual use yet. The first time I used it, the V6 Motorhead picked up a crazy amount of hair/dirt/who knows what else and it made me feel much better about the quality of my new vac vs. what I had been using. On another note: most of the attachments are for sale individually so they can be bought later. Overall, this is a great item if you're willing to spend the $ on it...I would wait for it to go on sale before committing though!

This vacuum was easy to unpack and put together. It sucked up animal shedded fur better than the other highly rated vacuum which we own. This vacuum is also only a fraction of the weight of our other vacuum.

I received my Dyson for Christmas 2015. I wanted a cordless vac for quick and easy cleanups in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms. We have hardwood, porcelain, ceramic and carpet in our home and this vacuum is amazing on every surface. It is not an exaggeration to say that I have used it every day since I have received it. It is very lightweight and I am able to get up to the ceilings with ease to get at cobwebs. I have no complaints about the length of the battery charge. I have been able to go through out our home and do a quick vacuum over every inch of floor with less than one full charge at the regular suction speed (approx. 2400 sq feet.) I love that it can lay completely flat and can easily get under coffee/end tables and beds. With the rotating brush I feel like it cleans the flood very well in these hard to reach spaces. I highly recommend this vacuum. It is worth every penny, especially when my 9 year old asks to vacuum! Thanks Dyson for a great product.

I really like the Dyson. It's lightweight and easy to carry around. It does a great job cleaning the floors and is easy to clean itself. It tends to get a bit bogged down if the carpet is shaggy so I stick with low pile or wood floors. I love the attachments that come with it, easy to clip on and off. Also like the charging station. I put it on the wall and it's easy pop it in and out to charge.

Vacuum is easy to use, has good suction, is easy to clean, but so far has not lasted as long on each charge as manufacturer indicated. But we're still happy with our purchase and would buy it again.

Love this vacuum. It's light, portable, and the best for stairs. I was expecting to use it mainly for floors but it's great on carpets too. I don't use it to clean my entire house, just a few rooms. It would run out of charge if I did.

Bought this for myself on Black Friday. Very easy to use. Great for stairs and quick vacuum jobs. I use it on my tile floors as well. Great suction on the higher setting and ok on the regular setting. Battery life could be better.

We already have a full sized Dyson Vac, but needed a portable for those quick clean ups. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver, and has great suction. The battery won't last for a full house clean, but that's not what it's designed for. All in all, a very nice unit.

This is such a light, maneuverable vacuum, it is a pleasure use! I use it regularly on my hardwood, tile and carpet. It works great on carpet and doesn't damage/scratch hardwood. Very easy to empty the canister and I like the lower power option to use on ceramic, etc to make the charge last longer... and love not having a cord to deal with! Also stores easily without taking up too much space (I actually put it in my hall closet). Also love that it becomes a handheld small vacuum and has extra vacuum heads to use on couches, in the car, etc. Would definitely recommend!!

Was lucky enough to purchase this item on sale and let me say its was worth every penny, if your willing to make the investment in a quality product this would be the one, dyson has never failed me and this performans excellently especially for my quick spills or small square footage areas like the kitchen or bathroom, easy to maintain also. loved it so much I bought another one as a gift for my grandmother and she also loves it. that just goes to show how easy it is to use and maintain

I've owned three cordless Dyson's I love them so much I just keep upgrading....This is THE best one I've ever used. It truly is as powerful as a full size corded vacuum. I use mine everywhere; my house is 90% hardwoods....works awesome.

This vacuum is my favorite so far. It has power, suction, is lightweight and no cord or hoses always getting in the way. The downside: battery runs down way too fast. "No problem" I thought, "I'll just buy a couple extra batteries." $60 each. Problem. The battery doesn't just snap out. You must remove the cannister, unscrew two screws and then reassemble before you can get back to business. This vac would be perfect if: a) the battery lasted 5 times longer and the battery clicked in and out.

This is a very compact and powerful vacuum. It gets up the toughest of dirt and is light weight and easy to use. The ease of emptying the dirt receptacle is awesome.

Lite weight, mobile, powerful, & compact vacuum. Great on hard floors not so much on higher carpets/rugs. I love how convenient it is to just grab the vacuum & quickly clean my entire house on one charge. I actually find myself cleaning more often because it is so easy. Using the attachments, it is great for cleaning baseboards, window seals, door jams, & under beds. I will use it when we spill things like sugar on the kitchen counter. Quick, convenient, & easy = less stress!

It's very light and has great suction. I wish the battery lasted longer but it is adequate. I am surprised at how well it picks up dirt.

Got this mainly for my hardwood floors, however when I saw what it picked up out my carpets, it is now my go to vac for all rooms. Works wonderfully on stairs, carpet, rugs, car and hardwoods. Definitely worth the $$. Just wish it had an extra battery to switch out when you run the first down. Still love it and would not trade for anything. My oreck isn't collecting dust in the closet.
