I think it's working. Removes pet smells from the rug. I have a stain that is slowly being removed.

It does not replace a Rug Doctor, but it is VERY close-works great, smells great, and works rather well. Need a broom to get it into the carpet.

I've tried other powders for the carpet before, and so many of them have too fine of grains to be considered useful. Not only that, many powders are actually detrimental to the vacuums themselves. Some powders get stuck between curves of the suction routes and become a huge pain to remove. These granules however, are larger and expand even more once they absorb dirt. The granules are also "wet" in some sense. They remove much more dirt than any other dry powder has.

I found that the best way to apply is to sprinkle the stuff on the carpet, groom it in with the main roller head of the vac, but leave the vac off when grooming. Then give it 4 or 5 hours to do its thing. Vac it up slowly and your carpet looks like new. Takes awhile to apply to thick carpet. This stuff sticks like crazy right out of the bag, so wear gloves.

Smells good but hard to vaccum out of the carpet they should come out with another version

I used this to clean the carpet in my apartment after a spill and also to clean the mat and carpet in my car. This does a REALLY good job without the fuss of soap and chemicals. The smell of this product when rubbed on the floor is awesome. It has a citrus smell to it. Just sprinkle some of the powder on the floor and take a brush and scrub it into the carpet, let it dry for 15-30 min and use any vacuum to suck it up!
