If you were hoping for a dramatic reinvention of EA’s soccer sim to go along with ditching the FIFA name, EA Sports FC 24 is not that. If you’ve played FIFA, you know exactly what kind of incremental improvements and longstanding problems with AI to expect this year. New mechanics like Evolutions show that EA has a general grasp of how to improve its RPG elements, even if it’s only currently for Ultimate Team where you have to put up with all of the dreaded microtransactions. Elsewhere, Volta mode is still a lot of fun with a full team of friends thanks in part to its unique arenas, while the Career Modes once again suffer from the same lack of care they’ve been missing for years, with the added annoyance of some ill-conceived RNG-based objectives this time. All told, it might have a new name, but EA Sports FC 24 is just about the same, frustrating but beautiful game.

It’s a great game more entertainment and the speed is amazing and I love soccer.

EAFC has been a great game for me so far. Has been a big improvement from previous fifa games and I enjoy the direction the game is headed. My only concern is that the they haven’t really made changes to career mode which I’m most excited about but other than that, the game is really fun.

Playing FC24 with friends is a blast. The game gets even more fun and competitive when you're up against your buddies or teaming up with them. It’s perfect for some friendly banter and exciting matches that keep everyone hooked.

FIFA 24 for PlayStation is a worthy addition to the series, offering significant gameplay improvements, stunning visuals, and a range of modes that will keep both casual and hardcore players engaged for hours. While the microtransaction-heavy Ultimate Team mode may put off some, the game still provides excellent value with its deep career management and enhanced realism. If you’re a football fan or someone who enjoys high-quality sports simulation games, FIFA 24 is a strong contender.

bought for my boyfriend to go with the ps5 i got him for christmas since he loves soccer and the previous fifa games! he was talking about how he wanted to get it for his ps4 and i figured since i got the ps5 for him for christmas, why not get the new ea game :)

My son said everything about FC24 is better than than last year’s. I don’t play myself, but I immediately noticed that it looked noticeably more realistic than Fifa23, which is nice to see given that sometimes there appears to be little difference from year to year.
