I am very pleased with this scale. It has a sleek design but is large enough to stand on comfortably and steadily. But here is the thing I like best about it - usually I can't see the reading on a scale while I am standing on it and the number changes as soon as I step off, meaning someone else has to read it for me. This scale doesn't do that - it stays lit and the reading is steady after I step off, long enough for me to read it. It then goes blank after a few seconds, in case you are concerned about someone else seeing your weight.

Had many bathroom scales. None were like this one. I can't say enough good things about it. The 1st thing that impresses you, right out of the box is its solid, hefty, feel. It feels like one solid piece of granite. Also no "tap and wait" to turn it on, just step on it and it immediately reads your weight in a beautiful blue back lit display. It's repeatability is amazing, if you get back on it 10 times, it will read the same exact reading 10 times, down to a tenth of a pound. What a great scale!
