First, the price was the 2nd cheapest for MP3 players. Was looking for something to drown out the Taylor Swift/Katie Perry music they keep cranking at the gym!
2nd, since I have iTunes I had to figure out how to convert the songs into another file type, which took me forever. (Eventually I put the whole thing back in the box to return!) After settling down, I gave it another try and figured it out. It takes a long time if you use iTunes.
3rd, Once loaded up I have to turn the volume all the way up to hear just in a quiet surrounding. Maybe different earbuds than the ones provided will change things. If they don't, then this thing is totally useless.
My recomendations: Pay a little more for a better product. Not that this has any malfunctions, you just can't hear it with the included earbuds. Also, the digital display and buttons are very tiny - which makes it difficult to see and push the right direction buttons.
For the price and size, this product would be good for an elementary school child but it is not very practical for an adult.

Decent product for the price. I bought this to use at the gym and it has served it's purpose quite well. The earbuds included are not the best-as expected, but still a decent product. I'd buy it again.

My wife lost her iPod shuffle and wanted a simple mp3 player that she could clip on to her shirt while jogging/walking. We didn't want to spend 50$ on buying a new iPod. I wouldn't compare this to the apple product we had but this MP3 player does the job. Easy to add/remove songs. Sound quality is good. Light weight and can't go wrong. Worth 15$.

A Solid MP3 to Quickly Grab Your Tunes N Go!

I was looking to get rid of my 4th Generation iPod nano and I was finally able to do so (I lost it on a business trip). Thankfully there was no longer any need for me to keep iTunes installed on my system.
I've been looking for an MP3 player that requires NO SOFTWARE to install so that I can add music to it. The Eclipse Mach Speed fulfills that need. All you need is the mini-USB cable (already included) and a system to connect it to. Once the OS recognizes the device...it's merely a matter of dragging and dropping your tunes. That's it! SIMPLE!
The device charges via your USB connection and I've noticed that a charge usually lasts a good 2-3 days (just don't forget to set the switch to the off position). The controls take some time to get use to but I am very impressed with the sound quality that is produced by this inexpensive little guy (I use some SkullCandy Chop Buds for my runs). The clip is an added bonus. I can clip it to my waste and my hands are free!
Overall...for the amount of $$ spent (which is not much) I am very pleased! Definitely worth giving a try!

This is a great beginners MP3 player for my son. We wanted to make sure he had a player that was user friendly and had good sound quality. This really fit the bill.

While it is not the greatest mp3 player, the fit clip is a good value. The battery is small and only lasts a few hours. The sound quality could be improved. The earbuds provided in the box are substandard. But, if you nonly have a few bucks and you need an mp3, it works.

I bought this mp3 player for someone who has never used an mp3 player before. It has a good amount of room for songs. It is fairly easy to use. The screen is very small but goes with the size of the mp3 player. It would be better if there was a separate volume button or an easier way to change the volume.

The Eclipse - Fit Clip 4GB MP3 Player is good in that it is simple - just an MP3 player without all the other stuff. When you just want to listen to music you choose, don't want or need a radio or anything else, it's great to take for a walk.

This is a gift we got for our 9 year old daughter. She has figured out how to use it basically on her own. For the price, it's a great deal.

For $20, it's a functional MP3 player. We bought one for each of our 4 young children. After showing them how to change songs and volume, they are using them constantly. Operating them can be a little clunky to begin with. Syncing them with your PC's music is easy.

We purchased this mp3 player as a replacement for a generic mp3 player (the old one looked a lot like a clone of a nano) which my 7 year daughter broke. At first she was confused by the extra controls, but she has grown to love it. Simple to scroll through albums or tracks, and a little display to show you were you are. We have been happy with this purchase and it has held up so far.

This little mp3 player holds up to 4GB and carries a charge for about three to four hours at the most. If you are using it during a work day, for example, you would have to recharge it in order to listen for the whole day. Other than that, it's not bad. If all you want is enough music to pass a few hours' time, it gets the job done.

Very convenient. It takes some time to get used to the menus, and it doesn't have a shuffle mode. Also if you turn it off while it's playing, the next time it will start from the beginning again, so you need to remember to pause or shut it off with the center button. But for the price it's excellent for runs.
