Great idea, although I am sure you sacrifice mah's for the size need to remove the cap. The only other complaint I have, is you need to have these in the USB port just right. The AAs are probably better.

These batteries are great. I use them mostly in flashlights/headlamps when I'm working on the car or just around the yard. They make my lights significantly more effective and my life easier. That being said, I do have an issue or two with some functionality aspects. 1. is when you pop the top off to charge it, the USB part you plug into doesn't fit snuggly enough on some USB ports causing it to fall out or not able to make a stable connection. 2. is the little cap has a tiny magnet so you can stick it on the negative side to keep everything together. Well it's not super strong so it is able to become lost easier. 3. They don't power everything requiring 3 AAA. I have no issue powering 2 AA devices, however 3 AAA headlamps don't work. This may be a an issue with just my lights or the batteries. Otherwise great power and convenient abilities.

I love this product and have been waiting for years for a good rechargeable lithium ion battery to replace AAA and AA alkalines. The AA of this product works great, but the AAA is slightly longer than a standard AAA and won't fit in the battery compartment of my headlamps and a toy I tried it in. Just shorten it up a smudge and it gets 5 stars. Easy to charge. Love the built in USB adaptor. Brilliant but a little too long.

I bought these to use in a mouse and keyboard combo that I use for work every day. The last about two weeks before they need to be recharged. I have since switched to putting them in remote controls for TV/cable box and they last much longer there, since they aren't in constant use.

    Convient charging with USB

Charges fast and lasts a while. Only issue I've run into is they seem to be just slightly bigger then standard AAA batteries but I've only come across two things with that issue. It's great being able to charge them in any USB port and not have to worry about bringing a wall charger.

I love these batteries. I use them for my wireless mouse at work. The ability to recharge them using a USB is genius. They ran out a little faster than I expected, but because I could plug them in without extra cases or charging ports, I have no complaints. Having built in lights telling you when it's done charging is amazing too.

The batteries themselves work great. The concept of having the ease of (almost) any USB port charge your batteries and not need a specific charger is great. They don't immediately advertise that for the AAA specifically, you need your USB port to be grounded; which is not a big deal, but I think it's a bit shady not to do it right off bat. I love that the cap is magnetized, so that when you charge them you won't lose it. The only thing is that -even at a sale price- these things are a bit pricey. Nonetheless, they are worth it.

I have a lot of battery powered candles which us AAA candles and it was getting costly to purchase batteries. I was buying 2 large packs per month. Now I use these batteries and just recharge them when I need to.

I really like these batteries, because they charge fairly quickly and don't require a conventional separate charger. I mean, who now-a-days doesn't have a usb charger handy they can plug these batteries in to? And they seem to last as long as most other rechargeable batteries.

The battery is great, and the charging method is something that I am not sure why other companies haven't copied or improved. My only issue would the batteries power capacity, but the recharge times make up for that. Also the led light could be improved to show more information, other than battery is dead or battery is fully charged.

These are interesting because they recharge in USB port and function as AAA batteries. My experience was that a metal contact on a lid bent and I had to bend it back before use. So far, these don't hold a charge very long.

I got tired of replacing the batteries in my TV remote, media center keyboard/mouse, and gaming controllers, and wanted to go with something rechargeable. Standard NiMH and lithium ion rechargeable batteries loose capacity over time, and shunt their charge even when in storage. These EcoCell batteries, however, use the same lithium polymer battery tech that is used in modern laptop batteries, allowing for longer shelf life in storage and better maintenance of their use-time between charges. It also really helped that I bought them for only $10/pack (in-store pricing was 30% lower than online). $10 for 4 batteries that equate to 500 single-use batteries? Heck yeah!

While the product has the right idea (keeping track of a charger has alaways been an impediment for some who use rechargable batteries), this product has a few snags that have made it a bit more challenging than it should be. The tops of the batteries are very sensitive on the inside. If you put the top on incorrectly, it pretty much renders your battery useless. The batteries themselves charge quickly and work great otherwise.
