Customers are positive about the convenience of recharging the batteries via USB and the fast charging speed. However, they are negative about the short battery life, the sensitivity of the USB connector, and the difficulty in determining when the batteries are fully charged.

These batteries hold less than half the charge of a traditional alkaline battery. My application was a high power LED flashlight. With traditional Alkalines, I could make five or six late night trips outside with the dogs. These rechargeables lasted two. Very disappointing!

the standard charge doesn't last very long. also very difficult to figure out which usb port has ground built in. so can't be sure if the usb port was not compatible or the battery won't charge.

I have been using this for more than a month in my RC Car and so far it has stood for what it states, the battery does last similar to normal batteries.
the only point to improve in the product could be the USB connector, it's a litter not convenient to connect to laptop USB ports, wall sockets, or chargers works best.

these don't have the massive capacity of NIMH, but the fact that they keep 1.5v the entire time is a winner hands down. these are the only ones that are able to handle the massive current of high powered flashlights. (surefire
titan B) they actually have more capacity over there competitor (znter batteries) and that little bit more MaH is a lot in a AAA. over all have patience with them for charging and the little magnetic cap and they will reward you.

USB is everywhere, the side of my laptop, wall chargers etc... 1st disappoint was realizing it wouldn't work with both my Macbook 15 Pro Retina or my 2011 Macbook Pro. No biggie I have wall chargers that travel with me just the same. Then I uncapped one charged it and upon placing the cap back on broke the flimsy little tab rendering the cap useless. Again no biggie I am sure I can pay for a new cap from the MFW as I predict this as a very common thing to happen given the poor quality of the cap. Sent the email to support 2 months ago..... no reply not even a nope. In retrospec I would have just purchased regular chargeable batteries and slim charger for traveling.
