Good thermostat on the market. Remote sensors make this a unique thermostat and the customer support is also good, Easy to install.

I like how I can access and manage my home temperature remotely. Comes with 1 sensors I purchased 2 more so i can monitor the temperature throughout my home, something Nest doesn't offer. Payed $2500.00 for the Ecobee received $100.00 rebate from Comed and $50.00 from Nicor so at the end i payed $100.00 for the Ecobee.

This thermostat balanced the temps through my whole house thanks to the remote sensors. Works perfect with Siri as well!

Our thermostat is in the hallway with Two adjoining rooms with their doors always closed. So it's hard to control the temp in the rooms with the thermostat. That's not an issue anymore with the Ecobee. The remote thermostat stays in the room so it's controlled by that and not the hallway. So much better.

Had to have someone install the systems for us. We have two ac and furnace units for a 3000 sq ft home. After getting a high 1-2 months bill we realized the ecobee learned how long it took to cool off our home starting up the ac units few hours earlier before we got home to achieve our temperature goal. This unfortunately caused us to have such a high bill. Once we took off that feature we finally are saving some money. Overall I like the fact we can adjust and monitor our temperature setting on our phones

suggest you use it stand alone first for a while before connecting to smart system so you understand how it works, once you connect to smart system suggest you do not have settings the same, example away mode on ecobee for heat 60 and smart system 57 so you can see what is controlling the system. Works great.

Interface on the wall is very simple and the app/web interface is almost identical...so controlling the temp is easy and intuitive. Wifi set up was easy as well as remote sensor set up. There was some technical set-up on my base heating unit to install the power-extender kit. The online tutorials were very helpful, but if you're not a little tech savvy, you might want to do a bit of research before purchasing. You can also check if your set-up is compatible before purchasing by using the ecobee website.

Such a cool product. Easy to install and works perfectly. Love the second sensor and it's been keeping our house vey comfortable. The fact you can control everything from your phone/ipad makes climate control extremely convenient and even enjoyable.

I needed a programmable thermostat that worked with my samsung smart hub and got more than I expected. Being in control while not at home and integrating the sensors with the hub is very cool. Shopped the nice looking nest 3rd gen but the remote sensors and extra features puts the ecobee on top for me.

This might literally be the best thing I have ever bought since my iPhone. It works like a charm and never have to worry about if I forgot to turn up or down or off the thermostat when we go on vacation or leave for prolonged times. Also nice you can lock it so no one else can change the temp on you.

This is by far the best wifi thermostat on the market. It has all the integration with services such as HomeKit and Alexa and delivers a more comfortable house with adding extra sensor you can quit worrying about what the temperature of the hallway is and start make the room you are in more comfortable.

My wife got this for me for Christmas. Wonderful little gem! It works splendidly with Apple's HomeKit, so as long as you've got an AppleTV (3rd gen or later) you can control your thermostat from anywhere. You can set it up for geofencing too, so the thermostat can tell when you're getting close to home and act accordingly. It also can control a humidifier which is wonderful. Previously I had to go mess with a control in the furnace room for that, but now it's fully integrated right into the thermostat too. I had a couple minor questions for ecobee and their support was wonderful. One great little feature is the remote sensors. It comes with one and you can add a dozen or so I think. These help the thermostat know the temps in other parts of the house, as well as whether people are in those rooms, and adjust accordingly.

Overall very satisfied with this purchase. The technical support from manufacturer during installation was excellent. The thermostat is easy to program and does a good job regulating temperature across rooms. I would recommend this for anyone that has problems with regulating room temperatures in the house

I travel often for work. My phone tells me if there's a problem at home. It's winter now here, and when I walk in the house, the thermostat kicks on the furnace, warming it up for me. There is a schedule it runs on somewhat. But mine is set to slow down when no one is home. I can't say enough positives.

The Ecobee3 has multiple features that make it stand out: Room sensors - The Ecobee3 room sensors allow you to have greater control over your heating/cooling system. You can set up rules to regulate the temperature in only the rooms you want, or even based on which rooms are occupied. Online interface - You can access your thermostat over the internet on your computer/tablet/phone. This is great if you want to prepare the house for when you come home, check if you forgot to turn off the A/C, or even if you just feel like setting the temperature without getting out of bed. Data logging - The web interface shows you all kinds of tracked data like the temperature history inside and outside, when the system was on, when the sensors detected movement, and will let you know if your system is running efficiently.

My first smart thermostat. Have multiple sensors setup to help determine the average home temp. Use this to cycle the fan hourly to balance the temps. Love being able to remotely trigger the required function (heating, cooling, fan). Wish there was more documentation for odd furnace/heat-pump hookups...

I have been shopping for a smart thermostat for almost a year now. I was leaning heavily toward a Nest, but the ecobee3 was very interesting to me. After the new Apply HomeKit was enhanced with iOS10, I decided to make my purchase of an ecobee3. Over the past few weeks, I have been very impressed. We have had many cold nights and warm days in Ohio, the Auto system feature is great and I don't need to manually toggle between systems. The device and app are very easy to use. Much simpler to program my old programable thermostat. The HomeKit integration is also very good. The best feature has to be the remote sensors. We have some warm spots in my house and this keeps it balanced. It is nice to not have to mess around with my thermostat when I change rooms. Overall I am very impressed and happy with my purchase.

The app is great and guides you through the installation process step by step ,asking you to take pictures of existing wires or your old thermostat and guiding you. If you have the c wire , it will not take the 30 mins to install. Scheduling is easy. Energy savings will be updated next month.

The ecobee dramatically improved my comfort level in my house, no more freezing upstairs and burning up on the main floor thanks to the remote sensors. It is also way easier to program with the app or touchscreen than a standard programmable thermostat, that makes saving energy nearly effortless.

This thermostat is so convenient. It allows for you to warm up your home while you're out. No need to have the heat running all day or night. The sensors also help with the temperature & know when to turn the heat on & off. It also gives you weather updates & is super easy to install & program.
