This is our second eco bee. One is upstairs and now one downstairs. They coordinate the temperatures and have saved us money. Easy set up. Good iPad and iPhone interface.

I have an older boiler with three zones. (3 thermostats) I tried Nest and I liked the learning feature. It wouldn't keep the house at a consistent temp, going too cold before turning on. Support couldn't fix the issue. I read reviews on this one and tired one. I really like this, it has to be scheduled manually but it's easy. The remote sensor in a different room helps regulate temps more evenly. The remote app on my iPhone lets me adjust if in need to turn up before coming home or down after leaving for a time away. The schedule works well turning up and down as needed for our varying work schedule.

The Ecobee thermostat is easy to install and easy to use. Nice to go to the app and check the thermostat or to increase or decrease the temperature from any where.

We are so happy with the Ecobee. I love being able to check the home temp where ever I am & change it as needed. Hubby didn't have any problems installing & it works.

I now own two Ecobee 3's in my house, as we have two separate zones. These work great. Love the accessory sensors, web/app interface, and the integration with ITTT.

Great Kit to get started, includes optional accessories such as the extra room sensor and the power extender kit. Had no problems installing, was guided easily through the installation. Love the weekly weather stats. easy to operate + smartphone operation from anywhere in the world.

I have a very cold side of my house and this is perfect, we have the remote sensor and base the thermostat off that when it's really cold! I love the remote access

Even though this didn't work with my particular AC equipment, it is still the one I wish I could have. I love the option to use the additional sensors, and how they can potentially be used for home automation. Can be controlled by Alexa and looks great.

Was debating between this and the Nest. The Good: It was smart in a not-so-obvious way. The Nest shines in quickly learning your schedule and setting itself based on how you've used it in the past. This thing has a fixed schedule but learns things like how long your unit takes to hit the desired temp, and how the fan works - and then uses that to make sure your home is at the right temp at right time. And to save power can run the fan only for a bit to even temp without running the AC. It also came with temperature sensors that I could place in other rooms to ensure all areas of the home were at the right temp. This is better for reducing your energy costs. The Bad: It doesn't learn temperature settings overtime as you use it. The schedule is static and you can set it, The app is horrible. The UI is very poor and not that intuitive. Additionally, Nest has taken their thermostat as the center point for a full smart home system. Whereas ecobee is just a thermostat.

I replaced all the thermostats in my house with this product. I love it. Super easy install and nice to monitor the temp in the kids room with the extra sensor.

Ecobee has been amazing since the day I wired it up. Bought 2 extra sensors to cover most of our apartment and has made the system even better. Highly recommend.

Good product, had for over a month and was easy to install even with the jumpers they provided, easy to set up, integrate nicely with smart things and Google home, only thing I noticed is that it won't let you go below 72f but at 72 the house is already super cold so no big deal

It's a wonderful device. Easy to install with a heating and airconditioning. And it's very easy in use. Also the app is awesome. Really recommend this one!!

It's a great device that lets me turn off my ac from my phone. My local power company subsidized the cost so definitely was a win. Super easy to install.

I love the ecobee, I did research on both the nest and ecobee and came to the conclusion that the ecobee was just better. Don't regret buying it!

Bought 2 of these thermostats and love having them. Easy to configure and control, very intuitive, and love the ability to set geofences and control remotely.

What separates this thermostat are the sensors. I originally wanted Nest because of the design and all the hype but after reading other reviews I decided on ecobee. It doesn't look as sleek and the interface isn't as nice but I rarely interact with the device itself. Most of minteraction comes through the App or Amazon Echo or IFTTT. The sensors really add the the automation aspect as they can adjust the temperature based on different rooms and if people are actually in the room. Great device, looking forward to seeing what else I can pair it with to really get automation going.

Installation is simple...a c-wire is best but the module they provide does work for a non c-wire system. The device is very simple to setup and use. I like the iPhone app to make changes to m y system's settings. The auto mode keeps my home's temperature comfortable at all times.

I see the savings already. My electric bill is down by 26% and all because I have this smart thermostat that does all the thinking for me. It's cool looking too!!

This is perfect...the thermostat is in the dining room, which presents a couple issues since it's not a traffic area: 1) the motion sensor won't pick up that you're home unless you are in the dining room and 2) the dining room wall gets direct sun / draft due to an old window and side entry door. Having remote sensors in the bedrooms solved the problem of the severe temp swings due to sun/draft hitting the thermostat causing it to "think" the house is hotter or colder than reality. Now we go to bed and the "Sleep" schedule tells the Ecobee to only read the temp in the bedrooms.
