Easy to use thermostat. App is easy to understand and easy to make changes away from home. Would definitely recommend.

So far this thing is far exceeding my expectations. The remote sensor that it came with helps keep the master bedroom cool at night. I am planning on buying a remote sensor for each room in the house so I can fully take advantage of the 'follow me' motion detection features. Also allowing the thermostat to control the ventilation fan really helps circulate the cool air throughout the house without needing the ac to pop on all the time. Noticing savings on electric bill already.

Definitely worth the money. Takes some playing around with to get the settings right for your preference and the style of your house. If you set a schedule don't use the smart mode or follow me mode because it won't follow your schedule. And if you use follow me mode and you leave but other people stay home it will shut off because it is tracking your phone. So disable smart follow and geofence if your using home kit, and I set a weekly schedule that works for my family. It works perfect.

Buy this only because it works with Apple Homekit. Turns out it works great. And I like the motion sensor embedded.

Love having the ability to turn on or off heat and air from anywhere. Additional bonus of motion sensor for security.

Fantastic product. Well put together. Great install instructions. It just works, as it should & as it is advertised.

I can't comment on the functionality of the unit because I was actually never able to install it. After several days of back and forth emails and phone calls they concluded that I needed to run a C wire to get this unit working. I live in an apartment complex so that wasn't going to happen. I went and exchanged this for a Nest and haven't looked back. I am sure that this could be a great unit for someone who is wired for it. I will say that I was a little disappointed at the build quality compared to the Nest though. It is made out of cheap feeling plastic, but then again it is around $70 less than the Nest.

Great functionality and love the adapter for those without a c wire. Also the options to change thresholds is great

This product does a great job keep a steady temp throughout the whole house. It is also easy to change the set temp.

Installation and setup was a breeze. Have tested both A/C and heat did the job. Have not setup the remote sensor.

It's great for remotely controlling the temperature, works well with my phone. I had an issue with the external sensor and contacted ecobee - their response time was pretty good and sent me a replacement sensor.

I live in a 2-story town home and was deciding whether this would be worth the money in a 1600 sq ft home. It definitely is!! Many of my rooms were different temps based on where the furnace is located. This very much helps regulate temps evenly and is fantastic for recognizing the time of day: awake vs sleep. Love the ability to set vacation away temp and change the temp back on so it's warm/cool by the time I get home. If you're on the fence, pull the trigger!

I've had a Nest for 3 years. I loved it, but when we moved into our new house, I saw the ecobee. I was intrigued by the ability to add extra sensors around the house. Took a risk and glad I did. The sensors recognize motion and temperature allowing the thermostat to know which part of the house you're using and adjust your comfort zone to that area. Great if you have hot or cold spots in your house! I would buy again and recommend to anyone.

This thermostat works great and doesn't cool parts of the house where no one is. We are very happy with it.
