This thermostat is amazing. I love that it will track when I am away and home using the motion sensors. Another huge thing to me, because I am a nerd, is the ability to view all the stats. You can see when the system was on over outdoor temp, indoor temp, and then what your comfort setting was at that time. I highly recommend. Be sure to check for rebates in your area as I was able to get $150 back in rebates.

I have two of the EccoBee E3 thermostats, I have had them now for a few months. I am using less heating because of the sensor can tell when I am home or not so if I am not allows the house to be cooler than when I am at home. The app for the smartphone is great. This is the first smart thermostat I have owned and at this point I believe it will be the only one. Just a great product and functions as advertised.

Ecobee3 is, hands-down an amazing thermostat. The installation is simple (you have videos if you need them as well as VERY handy labels for all your wires). And, unlike Nest, you get an additional wireless sensor to help keep your home evenly heated/cooled. Oh, and it's upgradable. You can attach additional sensors for additional rooms. And, with the ecobee app, you can control your thermostat from anywhere.

I love my ecobee3. It is so easy to use from my phone, Amazon Echo, and my Amazon Dots.

The only issue I had was due to a ground wire not being connected on the wiring harness inside my ac/heater unit. This resulted in a fast "clicking" by the Ecobee3. After a call with a friendly support rep, we quickly identified the issue and had it corrected. The remote room sensors also make this an amazing unit. Combine that with phone integration and integration with Amazon Alexa, it's amazing!

I just purchased this a week ago, along with additional sensors but I can say it has been great so far. The house seems much more balanced in tempature than before. The online charts are very nice and I can't wait until it has been over a month to see the other comparisons and efficiency reports. The additional sensors are great. Highly recommend. It works great with my Wink system as well!!!!

I purchased the Ecobee3 over the Nest as it has the remote sensor. My thermostat is in a hallway and is right under the attic door, which is not sealed very well. The hallway is hotter than most of the house and was causing my old thermostat to run constantly. Since putting it in, the a/c cycles and will definitely save me money. It is very easy to set up and control from your phone or computer.

The Ecobee3 remote thermostat located on the second floor of my house and the option to run the furnace fan 55 minutes out of every hour allows me to use the wood-burning stove in my basement. This prevents the basement from getting sweltering, the first floor (where the main thermostat is) from getting so warm the furnace remains off, and the second floor from getting cold.

The ecobee was actually compatible with our system (we live in an old house), and not hard to install. We ran into a couple snags, but ecobee customer support was very helpful. We just took a quick pic of our furnace's wiring, emailed it off, and they walked us through the best setup for our system. It was quick and easy, and we've been really happy with the system, scheduling, etc.

I'm very tech and smart-home oriented and this thermostat delivered. I love all of the smart features and the remote sensors and the integration with FTTT and Apple HomeKit. The reports you can pull up online are great and very informative showing several things from efficiency to savings, and its great that you can control it from anywhere. I highly recommend this product!

Love this thermostat. Easy to use and is saving us money when not home.

Had a wifi honeywell before this and hated the restrictions and poor control of the app. Got the Ecobee and loving it. I should have installed this years ago! Solved the hot upstairs bedroom issue at night. Love the fan feature where I can run it for a set period of time per hour, I had wanted this feature forever and didn't know that Ecobee had it.

This is the best smart thermostat out there. Way better than the Nest

Purchased to install alongside a new furnace on 12/1/16 and love it. The remote sensors helped me to balance the system to keep all rooms at an even temperature. Scheduling and smart home/away work great to help only run the furnace as needed. lots of data through the web portal for those who want to really dig into how their system is running.

My old thermostat was pretty unpredictable and hard to schedule. My furnace seemed to turn on and off more often than it should, even though it was properly spec'd for the house of this size (propane). After self installing (which was easy for me even though I'm a bit of a HVAC noob), the past few months, my furnace has cycled much less often and the ambient noise level due to running less often has resulted in a quieter house. I can't really complain. I do seem to be using less propane but I will have to run it a few more months to really know.

I got two of these systems along with a pack of additional sensors for my house. It solved the issue with the upstairs hallway always being warmer than the bedrooms when I disabled the main sensor and had the Ecobee rely on the temperatures in the bedrooms themselves. Great product! Definitely recommend and easy to install.

Super easy to install if you already have a C wire.
