I bought this product a mo th ago and it has saved me over $40 already by reading my habits.

Must have! This thermostat is worth every penny. It has made my home so much more comfortable.

I bought this product to work with my wink system. It does but inconsistently. The product itself is great and stand alone app is all you need. Very satisfied and cannot wait to see new upgrades.

Followed the directions and got everything up and running quickly. Didn't work, the furnace won't light. Called customer support twice, left a return number on the system and gave up after being on hold the second time for ever. Had high hopes for this but am returning it tomorrow. Customer support is non-existent and I am very disappointed. I really wanted this product. As a side not I am an automation engineer so it is not like a am a noob at technology.

Easy installation, easy set up and does all I could want a thermostat to do, would buy again.

Easy install and setup. I think it took like 10 mins to have it setup and ready to go.

Can be tricky to figure out at first. Ended up setting mine up on my computer and works great now. Love all the features and the amount of control I have through my phone or computer.

Make sure before purchasing that you remove your current thermostat and double chef that you have 4 wires. If you do not then it can involve some heavy wiring to get it in the wall.

Update to my review, now have few months use experience. My biggest complaint, the home or away sensor feature, has a 2 hour lag time (Ecobee CS, they did surveys, people want a two hour lag. UGH) confirmed. If we come home during away time, the sensors pick up we are home, but because of lag time, the thermostat does not switch to home i.e. Change to my home setting. I have to manually put AC on. Very expensive product to have to manually operate. LAG needs to be 5 Minutes at most.

Hands down the best and most simple programmable thermostat on the market!

i was trying to get this thermostat to set 4 or 5 different temps automaticly per day. an ecobee tech couldnt help me get this done on my web portal account . the sensors dont read the occupancy after being in the room for hours like being in a bedroom all night when u wake up the sensor will read unoccupied or sitting in the living room all day the same thing will happen after a few hours. a regular programable thermostat would have been a better choice.

This is a terrible product. Do not buy this! The installation is terrible. And the customer service is even worse. And I literally spent 2.5 hours before I got a live person on the phone. I couldn't even get the device off my wall to take it off to return. My two small children and I sat in the cold, waiting until a live person was on the phone. They were not apologetic. They said due to the launch they have thousands of people calling in because of installation problems. That's all he said to me. When I asked to speak to the manager he said he doesn't know what he wants to me to do. And again he said there are thousands of people calling in with installation problems. Not worth the time or money.

I totally regret this purchase. Sensors only work about half the time. It has never went into "away" mode since I installed it, that I can tell. And what prompted me to write this review is, as I type this the temperature (air condition) is two degrees below my set point and still running for no reason. This happens frequently. I have no idea why. I finally had to turn it off altogether. Since installation my electric bill has actually went up. Nothing Eco about it. So basically what you are getting is a toy that you can access with your iPad/tablet/mobile device. Do yourself a huge favor and get a cheap programmable thermostat. You will be far happier in the long run if you ask me.
