Definitely worth getting if you get the Ecobee as you get the most out of it if you get sensors in all your rooms. Super easy set up and works right away.

I bought these sensors with the Ecobee 4 thermostat. I wanted to have better control over the temperature in my house and avoid hot and cold spots. The only reason I didn't give the sensors 5 stars is that I've noticed that one of my sensors has had to be paired more than once, I hope it will not continue or I will have to troubleshoot the issue further.

We recently remodeled our home and decided to change out our thermostats while we were at it. We chose the Ecobee because of the high ratings and connectivity to Alexa and our other home apps. We love that you can install sensors (they aren't attractive so try to decorate around them to hide them) in each room. Now when we are in a room and want to change the temp. we can. We have 3 heating/cooling units in our home and they have never worked this well. The sensors really do help keep the home the right temperature without wasting electricity. Love them!

Our hOMe is over 2400sq ft and these are very useful to equal distribution of heat this time of year. If you own an EcoBee3, have a large layout and want to better monitor your heating(for this time of year) this is a must. We waited to see if we needed them at first using just the two sensors with the main unit purchase. The main unit in the hallway is centrally located but not a high traffic area so we used the other in the main activity room with TV and close to kitchen. It was OK but not too effective to bedrooms on both ends of the house. We used the extra pair and it has been wonderful and could not see us without them. The two extra sensors have balanced out the heating throughout the entire house. The activity sensing is a huge tool since why heat where no one is. If you are thinking about EcoBee3, get the additional sensors... highly recommended... namaste

Ons of the things I liked about the ecobee4 is that you could add more room sensors. I live in a ranch so often the outer rooms are cooler or warmer than the living room where the thermostat is. These sensors were very easy to set up. I put them in bedrooms that are around 50’ away from the thermostat and connectivity seems to be fine. You can include or exclude sensors from daily program settings which is nice. I intend to have only the bedroom sensors read during sleep and have all of them during active times.

I put these in each room of our second home. They are easy to install and work great. One added benefit is that I can tell if my home watch person actually showed up as they were supposed to and what rooms were actually looked at

I purchased four sensors to match up with the Ecobee Smart Thermostat that I had installed. They detect what temperature is in each room and adjust your thermostat accordingly to keep you nice and cozy while you are in that room.

This is the main reason I chose Ecobee over Nest. Both are equally good but, these additional sensors are value addition and helps to a great extent to average out the temp and also track occupants. Only one issue I had which was main one :) - it wouldn't track occupants. After research and talking to ecobee customer support (which btw is very helpful) figured out that certain coded sensors (KZVB, LCCJ, L35B) had their face cover inverted obstructing the actual motion sensor inside. A simple fix of removing the face plate and setting it in right order solved the issue. Useful and I am glad I bought these.

I bought this to monitor the temperature in two other rooms, and helped me out to balance the temperature through the house. The nest dosent have that. Love my ecobee3.

Love the thermostat and the remote sensors. One thing is the range from the main thermostat and the remotes is limited. That may be because of metal studs in the walls instead of wood studs in a conventional home.

Great product. I can monitor any room in the house with these sensors. I know the exact temperature in each room and if it is occupied. It also helps balance the temperature throughout you home . Awesome product

These sensors really help regulate the temperature in the home. I like how it gives temperature readings for each room on the thermostat and on my phone app. I feel this is helping me save money.

This product functions well with my EcoBee3 and works as designed. Having the system know what room you are in and make that individual room comfortable is quite amazing, even without a zoned system in my house.

If you have the Ecobee, these sensors are a no brainer. I have five of them around the house. They are great for making sure each room is set to the proper temp you want. No more hot or cold rooms.

They are great and easy to install, connect and use. Now, my house is even more smarter. I'm using it to control temperature in the different rooms just by moving my sensors.

This thermostat was easy to install and integrated easily with both Alexa and Google. The online data tracking is a nice feature and the added sensors insure the temperature remains at setpoint based on the room you are actually in. That is nice since my thermostat is in a hallway on the other end of the house. The connection to WiFi and the weather readout, were easy to set up and provide a lot of convenience.

I'm a bit disappointed at the cost of the additional sensors but it's easily offset by the fact they even exist. This is what convinced me to get an ecobee over a Nest. They are really easy to pair with the thermostat, small and inconspicuous. They seem sensitive enough and have helped provide additional comfort in other rooms. They recently updated their thermostat firmware so you can control which sensors control the different comfort settings throughout the day. I would definitely purchase more if I needed to add more "zones" to my home.

Very handy device! Setup and install is quick and easy. The more of these you add throughout your house the more accurate your able to keep the temperature of the entire house. Your thermostat will factor in the temperature of each one of the devices (and the room where they’re placed) into when it should run the AC/furnace depending on what temp you have it set at.

simple setup, can help you to balance temperature about your house. At full retail slightly overpriced, thats why 4 stars.

I have purchased this additional sensors after using the Ecobee3 unit for about 4 Months . The system works great as described and serves the purpose. One downside is Without Internet connection it is no different than regular cheap thermostats.
