Sensors were super easy to place. Nice that you have the option to either wall mount or place it on the magnetic holder. Syncing it to the Ecobee thermostat was a simple step. We have them in our bedroom and living room. We use the bedroom sensor to set the temperature priority at night, which is a great feature. Overall, we are happy with the Ecobee system and look forward to the energy savings.

I have several of these in two houses. One house is mostly A/C year round and the other is in the North where only the heat is controlled by ecobee. In both circumstances these sensors really seem to make the ecobee thermostat create a more comfortable environment throughout the entire house. While these can’t do anything to correct improper vents (too little or to much), they are pretty amazing in evening out the A/C or heat as much as possible simply by controlling the thermostat (it uses an average of all sensors to attempt to get the ideal temperature). These are essential in utilizing the automatic away and follow me features of the ecobee thermostat. As an added bonus, ecobee natively supports HomeKit. With the HomeKit integration, these sensors allow for automations sense they are also occupancy sensors.

The principal bedroom was far from the thermostat and was warmer than the setting. Putting a remote in the bedroom told the thermostat to monitor both locations and the room is more comfortable.

Pairs easy with Eco Bee, nice to know different Temps in house. Helps the thermostat set better schedules. A bit pricy for only to sensors.

Have had these installed of a couple of weeks. I like being able to monitor the temp in rooms the thermostat is not in and how the Ecobee evens out the temp between the two rooms. Also use one to monitor occupancy for the unit in our play room so it’s. It running all the time. Pairs well with ecobee 3 lite to make it almost as good as the highly priced ecobee thermostat

This device is a must-have. I use them to set my bathroom temperature in the morning. I take the one in my bedroom and move it to the bathroom and set the team to 75. It gets to the team I want in the place I need it to be. Its replaces having to have a heater in an area that is not always warm. Its amazing.

Just like all the other Ecobee sensors, they pair easily and just work. They give an accurate temperature of the room you have them in and will improve the "follow me" feature by identifying where people are in your house. That said, they are crazy expensive for what you get and practically never go on sale which is sad.

I was happy to find these in stock at my local Best Buy. My HVAC technician had just installed an ecobee which came with one Smart Sensor. Adding just these two made the ecobee much more responsive. I have since added a total of 4 more sensors (7 total plus the thermostat). With three stories on a one-zone system, these sensors have really helped us keep a relatively even temperature throughout the house. We no longer feel that one floor is way too cool and another way too hot. The thermostat seems to average the readings to get as close to an average temp at the set point we choose. The extras we added so that each major room has one allows us to “tell” the thermostat that the house has occupants (which it could not always tell with just the thermostat plus the original sensor. That seems important.

The added sensors help even out the heat in the house. It is also easy to check the temperature in each location using the Ecobee app.

Took me a little bit to figure out the correct place for these but I really like that I can keep track of spots of my house where the AC bents need adjusting or replacing. It has helped keep the house in a more consistent and comfortable temperature so I love these.

It's nice that they were easy to set up, I like these compared to google nest sensors that this one is smarter. That means they have motion sensors to include or exclude that room from turning on the AC.

These SmartSensors were super easy to set up and paired instantly with my ecobee thermostat. I placed them in rooms we use most, and now the system adjusts based on where we actually are. Temperature feels more consistent, and I’ve noticed some energy savings too. Sleek design, accurate sensing—definitely worth it if you want to get the most from your ecobee setup!

If you have an ecobee with the older style sensors. Get these! They are an upgrade for sure! They are faster to recognize people in the room and are more accurate in regards to temperature. My old sensors wouldn’t recognize a person walking in front of them, often leaving a room “unoccupied “ even though we were in it. I replaced batteries and did the other tricks online, but nothing helped. I was often having to adjust temperatures to compensate for their inability to recognize people. The new ones are perfect! I don’t even touch the temperature anymore since it knows where people are and adjusts automatically, like it’s supposed to do.

I love the small size and how I can use them to monitor the temps in the rooms but not have the HVAC turn on because of them.

These sensors work perfect with our ecobee smart thermostat. They were easy to connect and now we can tell what temp our basement & upstairs bedrooms are.

I purchased these as an addition to my current Ecobee to allow more control over my temperature settings. I now have one in a back bedroom and one in the living room. Depending upon the time of day I can have the thermostat use he sensor with the most accurate sensor to regulate a specific area. Example: At night we like it colder but the hall thermostat registers much warmer. I have the thermostat refer to a sensor in another bedroom with similar temperatures to ours to maintain the temperature we desire. Then during waking hours I have it “average” the temperatures between the hall and living room. We do not have a modern energy efficient home BUT by using these methods our energy usage/audit, according to our local energy company, is in the top 23% of energy efficient homes.

Works as intended and very helpful in a two story house with a living space on both floors

When you add these little guys to your home system , it just makes the ecobee thermo stat that much better , I’ve bought six of these little guys and I can honestly say my ac system knows me better then ever , love the capabilities and reliability that comes with them. My system knows exactly when I enter a room and prepares my space accordingly .

The sensors work really well and they’re a breeze to set up. I highly recommend adding these sensors if you’re invested in the Ecobee ecosystem bc it will provide more accurate temperature theoughout your home.

We bought a new home the beginning of January and it came with a Ecobee smart thermostat. We noticed some rooms were colder or hotter than the others, so we purchased these to help control the temp. They work well, no issues. Setup was super easy.
