I purchased these as an addition to my current Ecobee to allow more control over my temperature settings. I now have one in a back bedroom and one in the living room. Depending upon the time of day I can have the thermostat use he sensor with the most accurate sensor to regulate a specific area. Example: At night we like it colder but the hall thermostat registers much warmer. I have the thermostat refer to a sensor in another bedroom with similar temperatures to ours to maintain the temperature we desire. Then during waking hours I have it “average” the temperatures between the hall and living room. We do not have a modern energy efficient home BUT by using these methods our energy usage/audit, according to our local energy company, is in the top 23% of energy efficient homes.

If you have an ecobee with the older style sensors. Get these! They are an upgrade for sure! They are faster to recognize people in the room and are more accurate in regards to temperature. My old sensors wouldn’t recognize a person walking in front of them, often leaving a room “unoccupied “ even though we were in it. I replaced batteries and did the other tricks online, but nothing helped. I was often having to adjust temperatures to compensate for their inability to recognize people. The new ones are perfect! I don’t even touch the temperature anymore since it knows where people are and adjusts automatically, like it’s supposed to do.

This device is a must-have. I use them to set my bathroom temperature in the morning. I take the one in my bedroom and move it to the bathroom and set the team to 75. It gets to the team I want in the place I need it to be. Its replaces having to have a heater in an area that is not always warm. Its amazing.

I purchased these sensors as an ad to some sensors. I already have. They were great. I highly recommend them to complement your ecobee thermostat.

The added sensors help even out the heat in the house. It is also easy to check the temperature in each location using the Ecobee app.

Have had these installed of a couple of weeks. I like being able to monitor the temp in rooms the thermostat is not in and how the Ecobee evens out the temp between the two rooms. Also use one to monitor occupancy for the unit in our play room so it’s. It running all the time. Pairs well with ecobee 3 lite to make it almost as good as the highly priced ecobee thermostat

Works well. Just dont stick it on the drywall directly. It might be hard to remove later.

Bought to help regulate temp in other rooms vs hallway. Worked immediately to meet temp in chosen room. Wish it had the ability to only make 1 active vs the follow me where it keeps changing based on which room you are in.

The sensors work really well and they’re a breeze to set up. I highly recommend adding these sensors if you’re invested in the Ecobee ecosystem bc it will provide more accurate temperature theoughout your home.

These sensors work perfect with our ecobee smart thermostat. They were easy to connect and now we can tell what temp our basement & upstairs bedrooms are.

When they work, they are good. When they don't they are a pain to get corrected. Ecobee didn't address the non functional unit, 1 of the 2 sensors. Their response was to tell me to take it back to the store and get another. I thought that they "Ecobee" should have corrected the issue and not passed the problem on. Best buy was understanding and exchanged/refunded. I needed it to work right off, not to have to do extra work on the backend.

These sensors are excellent. The only negative would be price, but they are wonderful. Super easy to install not tools needed. They sync super easy and fast. The setup is effortless. To know the exact temperature wherever you place one and not relying on the thermostat is terrific.

Work well enough, lets you see more accurate temps in different spots and works as a motion sensor for apple homekit. You see each sensor as a temp accessory and as a motion sensor. Not sure if this integrates into any scenes etc, but it is good to know that it does that.

I love the small size and how I can use them to monitor the temps in the rooms but not have the HVAC turn on because of them.

These were easy to sync with my Ecobee smart thermostat. The information they supply for each room has made it easier to maintain a balanced temperature across the entire house. You can monitor them on the thermostat, in app and surprisingly even on Apple Watch.

Great little sensors which looks nice and modern. I have them in the kids room as the rooms get cold. The Ecobee has the sleep scheduled wich only looks at the sensors in the kids room to keep an optimal sleeping temperature. Great product but expensive.

Extremely easy to set up, works as advertised, and smaller than I thought they would be (which is a great plus!) They look extremely well, yet blend in seamlessly. Greatly extends the "smartness" of your thermostat. Excellent product!

In the summer, my bedroom becomes extremely hot but the Living room is cooler (7 degree delta) . Since My thermostat is in the living room, the AC stops when Living room is 72 but my bedroom will be 79. But having the sensor in my room really kept the ac running and cooling my room. Maybe i am not saving money but i am spending more money, but at least I keeping the right temperature between rooms. I had an issue pairing the sensors because my thermostat firmware was not up to date, so I contacted ecobee and they updated my firmware. I wish the sensors also have humidity sensing including.

Extremely easy to setup...integrated with remote app automatically and is very helpful in allowing you to manage your homes balance of heat & cool. Also has a function that allows your system to know where you are at to automatically manage the temp where you are at.
