Saves me time and effort

I have owned this mower for a few weeks and used it four times. Initially, I was skeptical due to the negative reviews I had come across on YouTube and Amazon. However, after purchasing the mower, I deliberately tried replicating the results mentioned in those reviews. To validate their claims, I meticulously compared my outcomes with the setup instructions provided by Ecoflow. It became evident that many of the individuals who had posted negative reviews either needed to follow the instructions correctly or had yards unsuitable for the optimal performance of the product.
Fortunately, I was able to address and resolve the following issues:
1. Poor Signal Quality: Given my numerous trees and a two-story house, I encountered signal reception issues initially. However, I found a clever solution by mounting the antennae on my fence, which helped me overcome these challenges.
2. Mower Deviating from the Planned Path: This problem arose when I set up the maps with the antennae in one position and then moved them to a different area for subsequent mowing sessions. The coordinates became skewed, causing the mower to drive into the street or my neighbor's yard. However, once I mounted the antennae in a suitable location and left them in place, the mower stayed on course as intended.
In addition to resolving these issues, I have made several other observations:
• I can mow an area of 4279 square feet and maintain over 40% battery capacity.
• The mower consistently returns to its dock without any problems with recharging.
• The sweeper attachment is highly effective, efficiently picking up grass, thatch, and other debris.
• However, the sweeper attachment does require me to empty it manually at the dock, as the mower returns and notifies me when it is full. While this can be inconvenient, I have learned to manage it.
• I have cameras installed around the perimeter of my home, allowing me to monitor the mower's progress.
• I can conveniently monitor and control the mower through the mobile app.
• With the mower taking care of the task at hand, I have the freedom to work on other projects around the house. Most recently, I have been able to dig and place mulch in the yard while the mower operates autonomously.
• Thanks to my camera system, I can comfortably stay indoors and enjoy watching TV while keeping an eye on the mower's activity outside.
• It brings me joy to share that my neighbors admire my mower, and they often stop by to ask questions or even record videos of it in action.

Unfortunately, my yard appears to be a torture test for this kind of mower: Soil too sandy in places to get good traction. Iregular shape. A steep incline. But what killed ot for me was that i have tall trees shading the yard, meaning while i could find locat locations with a strong enough GPS signal to setup the antenna and charging station, i could not get a strong enough signal anywhere to map out the yard. Though even when i brought it to the front yard that is clear with a good veiw of the sky, it still didnt work. That was after the hours of updating firmware. Last thing of note is that since this is rear wheel drive, it has problems pushing itself up the hill sometimes, while in reverse it had no problems pulling itself.

bought this thing in spring last year. it works great... about 25% of the time! save yourself the $$$$.$$ and keep browsing. my yard is pretty much wide open without many trees and this thing will get gps signal maybe half of the time. the times it does show a solid blue light, it will get confused as to where exactly to start on the map. it will go forward and then reverse, then spin around in a circle a few times before it repeats the process. i have been able to get it to start mowing by manually controlling from my phone to manually drive it onto the map so it will start the job. the grass does look good when it does actually work but does seem to miss a few spots here and there. i thought it was supposed to use a camera to sense and navigate around any obstacles but just sits there and tells me in the app that it cant go around. i have to manually navigate the mower all the way back to the charging station, not quite sure if i am doing something wrong but does not seem to be reliable.

Absolute Garbage

After comparing and contrasting different robotic lawnmowers, I settled on this one since it advertised strong GPS and RTK features which eliminated the need for a boundary wire. I also bought the stick/leaf collector attachment since it was the only model with a feature like that. To say that the user experience was disappointing would be dramatically underselling the situation. In the few weeks I've had it, I've spent about a dozen hours mapping, remapping, establishing restricted zones, alternating cut directions, repositioning hardware, toggling various "Smart" algorithms, praying that the mowing session will be at least partly successful, and collecting the unit from the handful of planters and fields it invariably gets stuck in. And my only accomplishment is that roughly ~10% of my 1/8 acre lawn has been successfully trimmed. In that time the mower has also dug an aggressive rut into the perimeter around one planter, ground two tall decorative grasses down to a stump, flattened a rose bush, and scared a small child when it charged absurdly far past the mapped boundary into the adjacent park. Almost nothing about the advertised features works as described. The obstacle avoidance system hasn't prevented it from hopping a 6" railroad tie into a (fortunately empty) planter. The line of sight RTK modules haven't prevented the mower from crashing directly into the RTK units in the pole/base. The reference points on the map shift dramatically and unexpectedly (i.e. showing that the charging dock is now in my living room and offsetting the mowing pattern to compensate). Apparently the handful of trees in and around my back yard (see pic) are enough to throw the entire system off. That strikes me as strange considering they sell an accessory kit designed to pick up sticks and leaves which are generally associated with the presence of trees. Unless your lawn is perfectly square with no shade, fences, trees, bushes, enjoyment, ect. then come into this purchase with low expectations and prepare to still be underwhelmed. I really wanted this thing to work, but probably should have realized it was a lost cause when the first thing the mower did is drive straight into the (out of bounds) shed and get stuck. Oh, and since the weeks it took to be delivered still counted against the return window, I can't even get my money back. My mistake for trying to do my due diligence and troubleshooting this thing. All it did was make mud pits in my lawn. I got a Mammotion Luba 2 and it is flawless compared to this.

I like the build quality of Blade. It looks like mars rover. Hope it does a good job as well. Nice to see companies like Ecoflow working on AI products.
