I wish I bought another one for upstairs.Picks up pet hair so my wife doesn't have to vacuum everyday anymore. The battery lasts an hour and a half.

Just as advertised, this is only for hardwood/laminate flooring, not for rugs or carpets (one of the reviews mentioned low carpet, which may work, but I only have laminate in my house with rugs, and occasionally it will get stuck on rugs, so I just roll up edges of rugs before I run). I've had it for 3 months, run it once a day, and it's incredible how much dust, dirt, pet hair it picks up. My floors look perfectly clean BEFORE I run it, and it still picks up stuff you just can't see, specifically the dust and dog hair. I am not going to cheat this out and not give it 5 stars because it doesn't do everything I want, like the rugs, because it is much less expensive than the higher end Vacs, and that is how it's advertised. So anyone who wants to give it a lower rating because it is not "perfect" and doesn't do things it was not made to do, need to purchase one made to be used for the type of flooring in their house. My second floor is also all laminate, and instead of bringing back up and down the stairs, I am waiting for it to go on sale again (got it on deal of the day for $129.00, wish I had bought 2) and buy one for upstairs. Just make sure that when you are shopping for these, that you purchase one that matches up to the flooring in your house, and if it's similar to mine, I'd be shocked if you didn't love it.

Posted .Sasquatch - you are right, this D35 is a bare floor only robotic vacuum. There are other models that will do both carpet & bare floors. Posted .Thanks for your comment. I'm thinking you may be disappointed because this model only cleans bare floors, and is the entry point of the ECOVASC ROBOTICS line. I would definitely recommend this for saving time with cleaning. It has a low profile so it reaches under the couch where I never sweep! But it is nice to let it loose right before guests come over so I know the floors look dust bunny free.

It would start and clean then stop after about 10 minutes vacuuming and try to return to the docking station. It was a waste of money not happy with it. So much for the of the Deal of the Day from bestbuy. Afraid to try again. Wish i could return it.

It sounds like a bad/weak battery, and SHOULD certainly last 90 minutes or so before re-docking. Please contact customer service, and we''ll take care of this.
