Great for contemporary house with big windows
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My house has three floors of what I call window stacks, six floor to ceiling windows on each floor making 18 very big windows. Basically we hadn't washed them in 2 years. The Winbot cleaned off the 2 year film making them clear like they were when brand new. It stuck with no problem and then traversed the windows even getting into the corners. It helps that it's a square itself. I did have to go over the corners and usually the spot where I took off the Winbot. The window washing fluid that comes with the machine is extremely effective making catching the corners a very easy job. The remote worked well too and it was fun to run the Winbot around. The pads wash up very easily. I ought extras and used them over the course of the 18 windows, changing as they got dirty pulling the film from the windows. I did use the Winbot on a few much dirtier outside windows. It got a lot of dirt off but not all. This is the best household help I've ever bought and the most fun. Now I like to do windows.
I would recommend this to a friend took more time and effort than usual
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it took several tries to get it to clean the window and it still left streaks. it was a little awkward to attach to the outside window from inside because of the weight and placement of the on button. if you absolutely can't reach the window this would at least help clean it.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Winbot to clean windows that are hard to reach - especially 2nd floor windows. I place the Winbot on the exterior window, press the start button, and go do something else while the Winbot cleans the window. When it's done, it beeps, and I remove from window and move to the next window. Friends ask how long it takes to clean, and I say - I don't care how long because I'm not doing it. This product allows you to multi-task - it cleans the window, while you watch TV, or vacuum. I really like the product !!

We never got around to using it until this morning. It worked OK on two windows that are hard to reach. Cleaning was OK, but it took two tries to get a years worth of dirt off the window. On the third window the robot was running around doing it's thing when CRACK! the alarm started beeping. It had broken the window under the vacuum. Needless to say the WinBot won't be used again, and I will be asking the company for a refund, at a minimum. I would *NOT* recommend this machine. PS ... Yes, I followed the directions to the letter. I was three feet away from the window when it broke.

Posted .Dear GrandpaGuy - thanks for purchasing WINBOT and sharing your story. Please accept our apologies for the broken window, and give us the opportunity to make it right! Rarely, the WINBOT will encounter a flaw in the glass, and if the vacuum hits it just right, crack. As you witnessed, everything worked fine on 2 windows, and was humming along on the 3rd before hitting that flaw. :(
