I haven't been able to find these movies on digital, so I ordered them on bluray. They arrived when Best Buy said they would. I was very happy with this transaction.

I am a big fan of this double feature. Eddie and the cruisers, and Eddie and the cruisers too Eddie lives. Michael Parr is excellent in this role as Eddie. The first one is about his life back in the early '60s with his group heading the cruisers. People remembering him and the songs that him and the band wrote. The funny thing is he was supposed to go off a bridge in South Jersey. But they never found the body. Yet Eddie and the cruises to takes place 20 years later. Eddie's living in Vancouver Canada and living a normal life as a gentleman named Joe West. Yet they're celebrating the life and times of Eddie Wilson which is his character which gets some kind of upset because they reissuing his songs. The whole thing goes around in circles he starts a new band and becomes popular all over again only to divulge his identity at the end of Eddie and a cruises too. If you're a fan of music the music is all from the Beaver Brown band. Great songs and excellent storyline. Well worth any collection.

Great collection. Enjoyed it so much I bought a copy as a Christmas gift.

Loved these movies when I was a kid. Can't wait to introduce them to my kids.

I really enjoyed these two movies. The music was excellent and acting was very good.

I love these movies especially the first one. Had to upgrade from DVD to Blu-ray.

I loved the Eddie & The Cruisers movies as a kid and I always wanted them to get a blu ray release and Shout Factory did a great job with the double feature edition. Great picture quality and sounds good. Some cool bonus features to.

I have to say I'm a big fan of the first Eddie and The Cruisers movie... a fine movie with a excellent original soundtrack. I've been wanting to watch the movie again for awhile but hadn't been able to find the Blu Ray til I seen it here on the website. I haven't been able to fit a viewing into my schedule yet but am planning to do it very soon.

First and foremost, this has the great music of John Cafferty, whom is a native musician, whom resides in the New England area, and promptly put them in the lime lite with it's great music throughout the film. If you like a little mystery thrown in with some great music, pick this baby up..

If you are a fan of these movies, then you already like them and no need to review the acting, etc.. It is the visual and audio quality that has not been mentioned much in reviews. Keep in mind this movie was made before movies were digital and the conversion to DVD and Blu-Ray are not as good as today's movies. Even though there is a following for these two movies and most of us have been waiting for a Blu-Ray version, this is still not enough sales to justify a full remaster. With that said, the picture quality of the Blu-Ray is a step above the standard DVD and makes the movie more enjoyable. This is especially noticeable in the daylight scenes. However, the audio is still the same 2 channel stereo from the standard DVD. My old DVD's are 4:3 format and no matter how manipulated still look like terrible on a 6:9 4K TV. I would not have paid the standard retail price for this set. I got this set on sale and it was worth it alone just for a little better picture in wide screen. I use a quality AV receiver that will up convert the audio to Dolby Pro Logic II, which helps the audio. Turn up the volume up and enjoy!

I've been looking for this movie for my daughter to see. When I looked on Bestbuy.com, I found it on bluray for a good price. It shipped right away,and I had it earlier than expected!

I was finally able to get this on blu-ray as the music in this is great. I especially like the second feature, Eddie Lives.

While I think the second film sort of destroys the mystery of the first film a little the first Eddie and the Cruisers is so underrated it's insane. Easily one of the best rock n roll movies ever made. Could watch this a 100 times.

Two blu-ray movies at a low price! Yeah, the second one isn't that great, but who cares? Picture and sound quality are pretty decent, considering how old the movies are. If you enjoyed Eddie back then, you'll enjoy it now...

I think the first movie has a better story then the second movie, however, the story of the sequel isn't bad and the music is good in both.

Eddie and the Cruisers is one excellent film! What ever you do, don't read the cover for the 2nd film as it is a MASSIVE SPOILER!! Also, don't watch part 2 as it ruins the heart of the first film.

This is a great movie from back in the day. Loved it then and love it now.

Excellent movies! Used to watch with my mother all the time. Now in upgrading her into 2020. Extremely excited to give her this set
