Customers are delighted by the Pro 6 AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 Router's ease of use, impressive Wi-Fi coverage, and strong performance. Many appreciate the straightforward setup and extended range, resulting in a significantly improved home Wi-Fi experience. Reliable, better range/coverage than base eero 6 models, improved speeds and decreased connectivity issues. I upgraded just my router to the pro 6 from the base eero 6 and have three eero 6 satellites through out my 3K sq ft house and couldn’t be happier. The drops and connection issues while playing on the PlayStation Portal are now non existent. Previously, I would get occasional issues at the furthest points from a satellite, that’s but no longer a problem. Based on in depth reviews, I was leery about the latest eero Pro models having issues with WiFi 6E bandwidth and the extra 5ghz channel on this previous model seems to work very well for me and at half the price of the newest Pro 6E!

I replaced an old Netgear router that I owned as opposed to paying Comcat to rent their equipment. This router was fine up until the point where I started working from home in my now finished attic. The WiFi just didn’t reach upstairs all that well, so I looked into mesh WiFi systems. I actually purchased a Linksys system as I’ve had Linksys networking gear in the past. That system gave me nothing but problems. With eero, it probably took me literally 5 minutes to have everything up and running. SUPER simple to get it all set up with the iPhone app. I now have crazy fast internet in my finished basement, first floor kitchen/living room areas, bedrooms up on the second floor, and my office in the finished attic. I even get good coverage outside in my yard and in the driveway, which is important for me when loading my destination into Waze before taking off for my drive. Moral of the story here is to just get the eero. It’s 100% worth it, and my wife is a big fan of the look of the eero units compared to the larger Linksys mesh units. A+ purchase!

Fantastic system - we purchased the 3 unit pack. One is basically your hun that connects to your existing router and the other two can be spread out. We put one on the 2nd floor of a 4590 sq Ft home and the second in a detached garage that works amazingly for the garage and backyard pool area. Super simple setup and fantastic improvement to Wi-Fi range and performance

The system truly lives up to its slogan - "Never worry about WiFi again!" Prior to selecting the eero I had tried several "professional" solutions from the likes of Ubiquiti and Aruba but neither gave me the performance, range, and simplicity of the eero. We've had it for about a month now and I couldn't be more pleased. It just works - extremely well! - and I don't have to worry about WiFi anymore!!

I run a small company out of my home and I was doing lots of video calls even pre-pandemic, so I need blazing fast & reliable connectivity. I had the 1st gen Eero for the last several years and it was good. It absolutely made a difference in my small but choppy house. But it wasn't perfect, so I upgraded my whole network. I have the top speed my ISP provides (1000 mbps) and got their latest modem that is wifi 6 compatible. This is important, because you could be paying for 1000 mbps but not getting anywhere close to that, which was what was happening to me. For any Xfinity customers, it's their XB7 (white tower), and you have to specifically ask if it's wifi 6 compatible. If you have the right tower and the right plan, you might be just fine. But for me, my house is choppy - meaning lots of little rooms and nooks, and I've got a small office in the backyard where the wifi really has to be perfect. So a mesh network was a must. I researched (great articles on CNET; search for wifi 6) and the Eero seemed to be the best fit. While it's designed for very large houses, which I don't have, I do have a large space (backyard and home office) that require coverage. I'm now getting about 1300-1400 mbps to my router, and 400+ mbps to my home office. The cost is not inconsequential, but it's well worth it in my opinion. It's also super easy to install. Very happy with this purchase. And hoping I'm not jinxing myself with this review! ;)

This device was recommended to me by relative who has suffered through wifi troubles in his house, until finally deciding to invest in a few Eero routers to create a mesh system that has brought him nothing but consistent and reliable speeds. I reluctantly took his advice, I'm someone that typically has always stuck with Netgear because it's what i'm familiar with. I am absolutely thrilled with switching to the Eero router! This router fully takes advantage of my 500mbps download speeds and even exceeding it depending on my location in the house. Speaking of coverage, I only have a single Eero device and it manages to cover every corner of my house including the basement. Coverage will vary depending on the size of your dwellings. My space is roughly 1300 square feet and even perceivable dead zones manage to give me functional speeds. I plan on buying a second unit when i get a larger space. My understanding is that these devices have their own seperate channel to communicate with one another and thus extend the already consistent speeds. The device was easy to setup and provides a mobile app to monitor all devices and traffic that is connected to your router. It's extremely helpful. It supports both 5ghz and 2.4ghz channels and devices that utilize them. A truly great and easy to product!

Replaced Linksys Velop with Eero Pro 6

Replaced Linksys Velop Mesh system with the Eero Pro 6 Mesh system in 3,500 square foot home (3 floors). Replaced the modem at the same time with the Netgear Nighthawk 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem (no port for phone). Downloaded the Eero app at Best Buy due to no internet access at home. Used cellular on my iPhone to access the Eero app. Setup the modem by using a laptop with ethernet cord. Was able to activate the modem with Xfinity using the ethernet/internet (eliminate call to Xfinity). The router took less than 30 minutes to connect/activate. The Eero system was less than 20 minutes to setup all 3 nodes. Wish I had replaced the Linksys Velop system years ago. The Linksys system worked fine but every time we had a power outage (Vermont) the connectivity for restart often didn't work, requiring assistance from Linksys. Highly recommend the Eero system. You can view all connected devices (up to 75).

A great product. Very easy to setup with clear instructions. The speed I get on my GB internet service is vastly improved from my old router and signal is strong around the house. Make sure you are using the appropriate cat 5e or cat 6 wires so you are not losing speed between your modem and the wireless network. Took me a minute to figure out that was an issue for me using an old cat5 wire.

Easy setup with app. Easy to add modules and eliminates any dead spots. Also, the main router puts out better signal then my fios router. I do lose connection occasionally but not a deal breaker. Modules are high quality and have some heft to them. Unassuming enough to blend into most rooms. The most important thing is it does deliver up to 90% of my gigabit speed. Not realistic to think it would do 100% and on average it delivers about 75% but thats still incredible for wifi. Wait for the price to drop under 400 and its a bargain.

Easy to set up. Just follow the directions using the app to guide you. Took less than 20-minutes to set everything up. Coverage in large 3-story house is much better, no drop out spots any more, and Wi-Fi speed is great. A bit pricey compared to other options, but now have a home Wi-Fi network that keeps up with the bandwidth we pay for from Spectrum.

    Eero - Simple and Clear

We replaced our Eero Pro with the new Eero Pro 6 to increase our bandwidth and speed on newer devices. The setup could not have been any easier (unless they packed elves in the box to do actually do the work, which, bummer, they do not). We were able to migrate each node one at a time through the Eero App, so had no downtime until we migrated the 'base' unit. That took us offline (due to the Router Reboot) for about 3 minutes -- most of which was the router deciding what speed to use with the cable provider! This could not have been a simpler upgrade. Installing it new was not much more work, except for having to update all the 'stuff' with the Eero SSID we chose. In this move, the old Eero set up the new Eero! It was great! The Eero app's utility and simplicity make it a "Highly Recommended" choice. We're sending our old Eero unit to friends who have to huddle around their WiFi antennae and crazy patchwork of extenders today (with terrible throughput!), so having a mesh network with a constant SSID will be a huge upgrade - and they can move to WiFi 6 next year when we get the Eero Pro 7. :-) What are you waiting for?? Click the 'Buy Now' button! (BTW - The Value being a "4" is only because it's SO EXPENSIVE... but you don't get this elegant without paying for it... and if you don't want to pay for this simplicity? You'll pay for it in time and effort.)

I upgraded an Eero 6 system to Eero Pro 6 for the tri-band wireless backhaul. I already liked the ease of use and app-based interface of the Eero, but didn't have an option to run a cable backhaul to the satellites. Performance has improved, and I'm getting everything I could expect out of my 1TB ISP. Roaming between nodes works well, and even when streaming an online iOS game, switching nodes has minimal interruptions. I thought I needed 3 for a 3000 sq ft house with a basement, main level, and second floor, but 2 have been plenty to maintain consistent performance.

I am excited to finally have full WiFi coverage in the house. This Mesh network device should provide seamless connectivity. Easy to hook up once the 1 st device is connected to the modem. Speeds seem consistent in all areas and walking through the house keeps you connected. I like the ease of use and the app that allows you to see what and who is connected to your Network. I recommend.

Is it a little pricey? Yes. Is it worth it? Also yes. Moving from Google Wifi, this is vastly stronger and better. I bought 3 plus an extra to match the existing 4 mesh nodes from Google Wifi that I had, but I probably could have avoided one of those and just tried three and come to buy another if I needed it. Also love that they work with older hardware. I have a spot that needs decent wifi but not great (smart garage door far from the other APs) and getting a cheaper model served that well. Setup is easy and I was able to do things like reserve IP addresses and poke holes in the NAT (with odd behavior but it works). My only complaint is not being able to set the internal NAT range, as it was stuck with 192.168.4.1/24 and I previously had 192.168.2.1/24 so I had to make a few small fixes to adjust, though it wasnt terrible.

I replaced a 2 -3 year old Orbi with a satellite with this. We were having some buffering issues with the Orbi with Tidal, and some image issues with streaming video. The mesh eliminated my dead zones, sped up streaming eliminated buffering, and the range outside the house is incredible. Easy set-up. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Purchased this item to replace Netgear Orbi system. System is extremely easy to install. Each device has two ports that automatically selects if it is a WAN port or a LAN port. The phone app shows connectivity statistics and other features. System is pricey but worth the money for a large home with numerous devices connected

This is an amazing product! I asked the team member at Best Buy for a recommendation and he recommeded this and was 100% correct! I used to have a Nighthawk and my internet was constantly going down. I bought this and installed it and now I have internet everywhere and a strong signal. It is very easy to install. My only struggle was with my Chamberlin garage opener. That works on 2.5Ghz and that took a special call with their help desk to get this connected. They told me that was a known issue. Best Buy comes thru again! Love these guys.

Immediately saw a difference in signal quality and speed, and has been great the past couple weeks of use. Setting up was easy and fast, mesh works perfectly, the free insights and control seem sufficient for regular needs. The paid security services would be nice to have, but not at that price. I would use maybe 25% of them. The WiFi 6 speeds are enough for the next several years for sure. No need to get 6E, and 7 is just crazy stupid expensive! Maybe later I’ll upgrade to 7 when it’s more reasonably priced! :)

I bought this to upgrade the previous generation of Eero Pro to WiFi 6. At the time of purchase of the old Eero Pro, they were the only mesh WiFi system I could find that would support running fully in bridge mode. I use a Netgear XR500 as my main gateway router and wanted to keep using it for its gaming oriented features. Eero allowed me to do just that without any fuss or tricking. The new Pro 6 is physically bigger but also provides a bigger coverage over the previous model. The setup remained the same. If you're replacing old Eero devices, you don't even need to do anything else to your network. It's great. The whole system runs very smooth and has never crashed. Updates will run on their own at night to not disturb you and keep you secure. Both the Eero Pro and the Pro 6 are really expensive but this is one of those cases where you do get what you pay for and it's worth it. Plus, they go on sale pretty often (I've purchased both systems when they were on sale).
