Setting up with the app was incredibly easy. I placed one router on each of the three stories in my house, ensuring strong WiFi signal coverage throughout.

I really wanted to like it, but my devices wouldn’t stay connected to it. The set up was very easy, in fact, I really appreciated that it told me if the location of the satellite was good or bad. The only problem I had was that my devices were constantly needing to reconnect.

I was concerned it may not work with my current eero network. It did no problems. I had the previous eero pro system. This was easy to add/set up and allows me to leverage my multi-gig broadband. Great coverage and performance. The unit wired to my gateway locks in at 2.5G.

This eero router is amazing. Its signal reaches throughout my entire home and when combined with other eeros, the strength of the signal is insanely good. Absolutely love the ability to manage my devices and WiFi from anywhere with the eero app. Totally recommend this product!

Pros and Cons:
o Pros:
1) Easy to set up. It was a hassle-free experience.
2) Supports the latest Wi-Fi 6E standard.
3) Tri-band design for efficient performance.
4) Built-in Zigbee to connect various smart home devices directly to the Eero Pro 6E. It can serve as a central hub for your smart home ecosystem.
5) 2.5Gbps input port.
o Cons:
1) No WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup).
2) Limited Ethernet ports.
3) Shorter range compared to some competitors' specification
Verdict:
If your main considerations are simple setup, reliable performance, and seamless smart home integration, the Eero Pro 6E emerges as an outstanding option. I configured the guest network and migrated all my IoT and entertainment devices to it. This strategic move reduces their vulnerability to potential threats to my main PC and laptop. However, the device encountered issues. Furthermore, the support experience was subpar.
Consequently, I decided to give it a one-star review. The crux of the problem lay in my guest network repeatedly going offline, affecting all my IoT and entertainment devices. On Wednesday, February 21, I contacted customer support. They promptly responded on February 22, recommending a soft reset to address the issue. Unfortunately, the soft reset failed to resolve the problem. My network connection continued to drop, leading me to attempt a hard reset. Regrettably, even the hard reset proved ineffective. Despite my repeated pleas for guidance, there was no further response from support. Frustrated, I ultimately opted to return the product to the BestBuy store. The ironic twist? On March 21, 2024, support finally replied, offering the same ineffective solution as if it were day one: to perform a soft reset. This inadequate level of support is particularly frustrating, especially when you’ve invested nearly $400 in purchasing two Wi-Fi mesh devices.

Main unit sits in bedroom. Forgotten it’s even there. WiFi just works and I never really think about from where. Funny. Easy set up by the way.

Not a “Pro” device, personal data concerns

Was excited about a Wi-Fi 6e router at a great price, but with that price comes some very large limitations. Was coming from a Velop Wi-Fi 5 setup prior.
Here are the limitations:
- No browser interface to manage router, must use app
- WPA3 support is beta, is really WPA2/WPA3 not WPA3 Personal
- No ability for advanced network management, can’t configure a MAC address filter, which bands are in use, channels, anything
- No ability to manually configure device prioritization
Here are the privacy concerns:
- By default, your email address and name are used and uploaded to Facebook to be used for targeted advertising not only by Eero, but any advertisers that uses audience targeting. You have to email them with a specific subject line to opt-out
- By default, you are enrolled in a trial of their Secure service, which further uses your personal data
- Your device unique IDs are collected and used for targeting products and services to you. This unique ID allows advertisers to create profiles and link activity across 3rd parties
- Eero collects the unique IDs and MAC addresses of all devices that connect to your network
With an extremely limited ability to manage advanced settings, no ability manage the device from a browser, you can only use the app, no ability to see detailed logging of traffic on your network or what the router actually is doing, limited support for WPA3…you would be better off spending more money and getting a Wi-Fi 6e router that does not obscure it’s management functions and logging and provides finer-grained control over configuration.
This is not really a “Pro” device. If you are a novice and want an inexpensive 6e router and are not concerned about your personal data, then this is not a bad option. If you want more control over your network security and desire more transparency, try a device like Linksys Atlas AXE8400. That is what I am replacing this with.

My internet connection has greatly improved since purchasing the eero system. I no longer have to worry about an unstable internet connection message during Zoom meetings.

Easy to install and use this converted our home from a wifi network generated by a telcom router / gateway to a meshed network with broadcasting points through out the house not just where the router gateway is located. The erro app helps you manage the devices connected to your network and allows you to monitor network speed and other aspects

2-3x the speed of the previous router as tested at speedtest.net
Easy installation, plug and play, and account set up easy using amazon. Looks great to leave out in the open. Online reviews gives it thumbs up for having the lastest and upcoming protocols and no bottlenecks like the nests. bought on a black friday deal.
