Very funny and well written. The characters are excellent and believable. Warning: if you're a teacher in real life, some parts of this movie may be triggering. If so, I'd suggest watching it over Fall Break or Winter Break, etc.

It's a simple comedy that's well written and directed.

This movie depicts the journey of a young girl willing to do whatever it takes to get to the top despite her vicious manner in doing so. I feel we can all identify someone like this in our own professional or personal lives!

This is a real good dark comedy. Movie looked great in blue ray and had some good bonus features

I hate Witherspoon with a fiery passion. This is still a pretty dang great picture.

In this intelligently written satirical comedy a bitterly contested high school election becomes the battle front where Matthew Broderick and Reese Witherspoon square off. These two actors bring their "A" game and the results are sharply funny. Adult comedy poking fun at many things especially American politics. If you like Alexander Payne's other wonderful movies you should like this movie too. Blu-ray disc in 1.77:1 format with digital dolby 5.1 sound. Limited extras.

This film is amazing. It's not that funny, but it's sharp and witty. Don't expect a laugh-out-loud comedy, and I don't think you'll be disappointed. The commentary track by Alexander Payne is great. Also, I recommend getting the older cover of the DVD (with Matthew Broderick in Reese Witherspoon's mouth). Highly recommended.

This is a very enjoyable and very funny movie. It is well acted through out, but Mathew Broderick and Reese Witherspoon really shine.

It's about a girl who runs for class president but her teacher wants her to lose the election so he riggs it.He has a problem with people who are overachievers.Don't hate congradulate. Not!!!!!!

So glad I didn't attend a high school like this one or rather have any females like this one. Well written.
