I unfortunately had a negative experience with the delivery and installation of the Stove and Fridge that I purchased. You would think after spending $4000 dollars that there was a little bit of a sense of urgency and quality of delivery. The person that delivered the items definitely was bothered that he had to assist and perform the task. When he arrived to review the Kitchen area, he stated that his service was just to drop off and plug in the equipment, not to move the current Fridge or Stove to another location or even a few feet away. Before he could leave, I offered to move both the current Fridge and Stove with my wife to the other room to make space and allow him and his partner to install the new appliances. I asked if I could use his Dolly to further move the Fridge and he said no. The delivery person unboxed the Stove and plugged it in, but didn't further install the anti-tip bracket that is supposed to come with the Stove and installation service. When I noticed it wasn't flush to the wall and was easily movable, I asked if the installation was complete and if there were any pieces missing and why was it half way out from our stove area. He said to call this number to Best Buy within 14 days. I noticed that the delivery person didn't leave the anti-tip bracket nor did he continue any installation. I called the number earlier this week and had to make a service call where I explained that the installation wasn't complete and there is a missing bracket and to have someone come out and complete the installation. On the day of the 2nd installation attempt, the delivery driver called at 10am to advise he was 30 minutes away and asked if I had the bracket for installation. I explained to him that my initial call I had explained that I wasn't left with the bracket. He said he would call dispatch, I then received a text that they would arrive at 11:30am. It's 3:30pm now with no call back, arrival, or next steps if they are going to complete the installation or service and if they were able to get a new bracket. I think I will have to use 3rd party assistance next time for deliveries and installation.
