I am very disappointed with my installation. They came in and just slid my stove in the opening. They didn't remove any of the tape that was on the stove or level it at all. I am very disappointed in the delivery and installation Best Buy is usually better than this.

I will not recommend installation service if you buy appliances from Best Buy. So far this upgrade has been a nightmare, I should know, the minute the technician knock at my front door, he hit it so hard I was scared to death. Bad attitude from the minute I opened the door to the technician, no courtesy at all, who he was and what was his purpose of the visit, of course, I knew why he was at my house. During the whole installation process, I was sitting at the dinner table working on my computer and he screams to me to ask a question or to let me know if the appliance was working, like if I was outside the house. My family (all adults) were hearing on the second floor his behavior and how he was throwing things and hitting things in the kitchen. In my perspective, the handling of the appliances was careless, so bad that in the end, I will need to ask for a replacement due to damage caused during the handling.

Damaged glass stove top.

Installed range had a very large scratch across the glass top.
Was very noticeable and should have been reported by installer. Maybe they caused the scratch which would explain why the didn’t report it.
I was not present at the time, this was installed into a newly renovated unoccupied brand new rental unit.
Installation crew was let in by the carpenter who was renovating the unit next door so no one saw the damage until I arrived several days later. Absolutely no one other than the installers were in the unit, it either came scratched or was scratched by the installers. Given the poor installation of the microwave causing damage to my brand new cabinet I would not be surprised that this was caused by the installers. Bestbuy is doing the right thing though, by replacing with a new stove.

First delivery they installed wrong stove! Total nightmare getting the stove we paid for, 12 days later it was delivered. While installing a anti tip bracket installer was told power line comes up from the bottom left. He drilled through our 220 line, if he had checked the stove before leaving they would have known this. Anti tip bracket wasnt in line with the leg on stove so it left a large gap behind stove to the wall.

The installers failed to deliver the oven racks. Repeated attempts to correct the problem have failed. A month in and I have no oven racks. I am not happy

Don't go for the installation. Nice delivery guys but they didn't know how to attached the power cord and left the range in the middle of my kitchen. I rewired the cord and got the range in the right position. Second delivery crew was able to attached the anti-tilt bracket, but the whole delivery experience was frustrating and a waste of time and energy.

Appliance service guys came today to complete an electric range installation that was not done correctly. They came much earlier than they were supposed to. And they were unable to complete the installation. They claimed that because the kitchen tile floor is “too slippery”, there is nothing they can do to prevent the range from sliding away from the back wall when the oven door is opened. Ridiculous.

This is a very long story. I would give the “ Electric Range Installation “ a zero star if it were possible. NOTHING went right! First, we purchased this range in early September. We were told the range couldn’t be delivered until December 3rd. No call No show. Delivery arrived two hours out of window on December 7th. They damaged our counter top. Counter not fixed and range not fully installed. LOVE the Range, not the installation!

The geek squad employee broke the wooden edge in the house while installing the stove, and he never told me about it or acknowledged it. Will not be doing a in home installation with Best Buy ever again.

Installers didn’t know what they were doing. They refused to install the anti-tip bracket on the range, even after I asked several times. I tried to call BestBuy to get it resolved and no one was able to even understand what my complaint was. I ended up doing the installation myself and in the process discovered that the installers didn’t properly connect the ground wire. So the range was never grounded. Thanks for trying to kill me and my kids jerks!

Installation service was a joke. My mom tried to tell it needed raised and adjusted because it was almost an inch lower than the counter top. As my mom ask for it to be corrected they said it was fine. Pics do not show just how off the back was lower than the front because they wouldn’t adjust the back legs. My husband had to come home and actually install it.

The range was scratched and they did not take any of the stickers or other packaging off that was in the range for shipping protection. Had to ask the install team to take the large boxed with them. Tyey said they dont take the boxes with them. I asked if i could pay them to take the large refrigerator and range box. They took it with but i had to convince them to do so! No they did not charge me to remove the boxes.

I would give it zero stars if I could. The delivery company that was used was atrocious. And as far as installation they never did it even though it was on the work order. I had to call an electrician to come and hook up my stove! So in actuality I paid for installation twice.

 The crew that installed the microwave refrigerator and washing machine made so many mistakes. They flooded my kitchen. The waterline was broken for the refrigerator and still doesn’t work. Additionally, they install the microwave but used boats that were too long, so it damaged the wall.

AS you can see in my photos the installers said that the wire will get softer and in a week or two it will go in flush, like my old oven. False, it has been almost 2 months and the wire is still hard as steel, can not even bend it. Very unhappy, plus I am recovering from surgery I only have one arm and hand
