This machine is quiet, performs extremely well, has great features, and looks good. We have no regrets purchasing this machine.

The dryer itself does what it's supposed to do and then some: it also provides available steam cleaning. This is magnificent if you want to dry your towels, but want them to remain soft and fluffy, not hard and not so nice. The dryer itself looks very stylish and will complement any great suburban home.

Had this dryer delivered today. 5 minutes into the initial cycle / test run a huge puddle of water appeared on my floor. This was an INTERNAL leak and NOT a hose/fitting problem. How an internal leak makes it past factory testing/inspection is beyond me!Thankfully the delivery crew was only a few blocks away and was able to return the unit. Be SURE to check the steam function BEFORE your delivery crew leaves your property. Awaiting replacement unit next week which is another 4 hours off of work at my expense..I will update my review based on the performance of the "new" dryer.

Most recently I replaced the heating element-- in a 3 year old dryer-- after 4 months the exact same part went out- and Electrolux tells me they don't stand behind the parts they manufacture!!! I purchased stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer. The refrigerator was serviced so many times the first year they replaced entire piece, then that one was worked on 3 times in six months. All appliances not only required service before they were out of warranty but repeatedly since warranty ran out.

Worst dryer ever owned, after a few years we had to replace the heating element, and now again after just a few years, here we go again replacing the heating element. The washing machine we bought with this is, knock on wood, still going strong. Don't even buy this brand used if you had the chance, you will be replacing the heating element all the time.
