As stated in my review of the matching washer ... After untold hours reading reviews from many retailer websites and comparing the specifications from all the top brands, Electrolux rose to the top as the most likely to deliver performance without defects. Indeed, we are so relieved to have all the bells and whistles without regret over malfunctions or control lettering rubbing off. So, I minimized risk as best as possible by purchasing through Best Buy and buying the extended warranty. I read ALOT about installation problems and have great confidence in BestBuy from my experiences. I believe I also made the best brand choice based on Electrolux reviews and that it has been selling for over 5 years in the USA and makes very little changes in the product. As with cars, constantly changing features mean that the consumer pays to test the product and the reviews are difficult to rely on. I have washed and dried more than 20 loads and tested most of the cycles with no incidents. I love the steam in the washer and the dryer but haven't fully vetted the various cycles as to whether it is included in the pre-selected or I have to add it. So I just select to add it to be certain. I put 4 clean items in to steam only and was very impressed with the outcome. Only one needed to be pressed to meet my standards as I have always dry cleaned or pressed everything due to my corporate background. The pet beds, and stuffed animals dried much faster than expected and no damage from the washer or dryer. As with the washer, I love that I can fully customize any load if I don't like the time or temperature on the variety of built-in cycles. The light inside is rare and I just love the easy touch open and close as we both have arthritis and most of the others, especially Samsung, are hard to open and close. I am 55 and mother is struggling with learning new things and complicated electronics yet the settings are really straight-forward and being able to set the length of the cycle and temperature is wonderful while you are getting to know the unit. Mother was also thrilled to have Actual Hard-Copy Manuals, another rarity these days!! I have no complaints about the dryer, everything is coming out so much nicer than our 8-year old traditional units. We are So Happy with our Electrolux Washer & Dryer and with the prompt, professional installation from Best Buy. Fortunately, I had recently purchased a flexible dryer hose which meets current safety standards so we returned the dryer vent kit. Good thing because I needed that extra inch or 2 of space to fit in our closet due to the vent being set out from the back wall on the floor.

Highly recommended dryer. I bought this to replace an older GE model (about 10 years old) and it's been a great upgrade. Runs quiet, fast, and for a lot less electricity. I'm already seeing savings on my energy bill.

Nice size dryer . Drys quickly and efficiently. I needed a better dryer after my last one didn't last even a year . This one seems like it should for the bill.

Best Buy did what hhgregg couldn't! Great appliance.
