The first unit I bought had to be returned because it lost it's ability to hold a charge within a couple of weeks. I knew this was a potential problem after reading lots of reviews on Amazon, so I bought the extended warranty just in case. I didn't need to use the warranty in this instance because it was within 30 days, but I am still glad I have it. Despite knowing about this potential problem, this was still the best reviewed rechargeable cordless hand vac for a reasonable price, so I think it is worth the risk. As far as performance, it does what I need it to do, and holds a charge for all day spot cleaning around the house. I use it mostly to pick up hair from the bathroom floor, and spot vac the kitchen. It's also great when our toddler spills his cheerios on the carpet. I like the extendable portion at the end of the nozzle, but it is too easily pushed back during operation, so that it has to be re-extended on occasion. It is easy to recharge, just slide it onto the stand. I have the stand on the floor right now, but it could also be wall-mounted. Overall I am happy with my purchase, and would definitely purchase again.

I have a dyson hand held and it had the same power as this one but the dyson battery died after a couple months and they wanted more for a replacement battery than what I paid for this vac. This has awsome power and I love the little wheels under the mouth for gliding over carpet! Nice charging stand too.

For the two weeks it worked it was wonderful. Then it wouldn't keep a charge. Was told the connection between the vacuum and charger got out of alignment, I couldn't find a way to fix it. Returned it for a different brand of vacuum. Really wished this would have kept being as awesome as it was the first two weeks.

This is a fantastic little cordless handheld dust-buster. It has a lithium battery that is much better than any of the other types and the filters are washable which helps keep the unit in top working order while eliminating the cost of replacement paper filters. Had a problem with the charger adapter but their customer service was terrific, sent a replacement immediately at no charge.

This model had great specs and worked well, but a year later it stopped charging. The electrolux company said that we could bring it to a local repair shop since it was still under warranty as long as we had the receipt. I'm not thrilled to have to go through this process because the charger of all things is failing to charge. I would not recommend.

I love this handheld vacuum cleaner I take it everywhere in this house and vacuum my car .

Worse item ever. I got 3 and finally I give up because this vacuum did not work at all.

This is a great handheld vaccum. Well balanced, easy to handle, excellent power, long run-time. Have previously owned similar models by other companies but was looking specifically for 'non-nicad batteries', 'wall mountable' and 'washable filters'. Easy to wall mount so it can be stored out of the way. Have never owned an Electrolux product before but this one is well designed and seems well built.

I have had *three* of these vacuums in *three days*! Each one has problems charging the battery/vacuum... Two of them charged up the battery initially, at which time I used the vacuum and it worked great...then went to re-charge battery and they didn't re-charge--no power coming from power supply/charger. The third vacuum (after exchanging the vacuums) wouldn't even charge initially, right out of the box! I finally called Electrolux, and I found out why all 3 of my new vacuums wouldn't charge up--the representative (on the phone) told me that Electrolux has *re-engineered* the charging system and will send out the 'new version' to me. As of this writing I've not yet received the new charging base they promised me, but when I do get it I'll write an update on this review!
