I bought this because of price and for my 8 year old grandson who likes going treasure hunting. I saw some which were too expensive for a child and I found this! He loved it and I do too. It is fun to use, light weigh, easy to handle and he likes blue. This is reasonable price .

I bought this for my grandkids to use at the beach! It is perfect for them. Lightweight and works well.

Sensitivity setting is a little tricky but ok. height adjusts which is nice. Our daughter is excited to use it when it's warm outside!

My 4 year old son likes this metal detector. We have lots of fun with it at the beach and in the yard as well.we have found a couple of old coins and still looking for more.

I only used it once so far but it did detect metal under the ground . I dug it up but to my dismay no buried treasure just some very old car parts.hopefully next time treasure.

I was totally amazed at how well these metal detectors worked my kids have already found 83 cents and they are still going it was also helpful when we spilled some nails we was able to find them all

Bought this for my 9 yr old son's bday. Put coins and other metal objects in his sandbox to find. Detector will only detect something on the most sensitive setting- and if its sitting on top of the sand and the detector is literally an inch above it. Waste of money. And unfortunately could not return as BBY return policy is awful. My bad for ordering it too far in advance of his bday. Will not be BBY customer after this. Worthless product. Bad return policy.
