Currently using on an i7 macbook pro, it works well. The provided isn't the best for a Mac but is good enough. If you want to use OBS there are a lot more steps involved. Windows users will have a better experience. Anyways it works well, records and streams w/o an issue. I would recommend.

This is so easy to use and high definition is great! Works perfect with the Xbox one, now I can record unlimited time. I feel this is one of the best products out there.

First off, please PLEASE, read the system specs, they are required for you to capture at the highest quality. I have a gaming laptop. i7 2.5 quad core with 8gbs ram and a dedicated 2gb GPU and this thing still gives me a little problem with video capture. As for audio... I am an avid youtuber (two years or so) and elgatos software records horribly. some of our videos have pieces where the audio cuts out, many different set ups and mics, nothing fixed it, just don't use it for audio. Other then that, if you can get it running its quality.

After researching many, this capture device is the best one for the money. The 60fps is worth it, and the set up was almost too easy. The capture looks beautiful and works great with twitch.tv.

I knew that this was a good product because it took me about 2 weeks to find one near me. It has seamless quality and the set up is very easy to do, took me 5 minutes to understand it all.

Device captures gameplay in stunning quality and utilizes beginner friendly software. Mac users will notice that the Elgato software lacks many of the settings that Windows users enjoy. I noticed dramatic audio syncing issues with both game audio and live commentary that required manual syncing while editing in post. Workarounds are available for the audio issues which include disabling the "gameplay preview" on your computer. It is exactly what I wanted. Perfect to stream via twitch, Mixer, youtube and other streaming services. Works great on ps4, Nintendo switch, and xbox.

My son is having a ball recording his gaming on line n uploading to you tube. He was able to set it up without my help, he is 11 yrs old, which made me extremely happy not to have to sit in front of the pc figuring out what needed to be done. After all the minecraft mods i had to learn tl install, my brain is fried...

Make no mistake: this is the best streaming and capture card for PC and games consoles that you can buy. It'll capture and stream up to 1080p and 60 FPS if you're so inclined, and stream them straight to YouTube, Twitch and others. Great stuff. BUT, it does have one weakness I find annoying: you need to use a PC to capture the data, as it has no USB port or MicroSD card slot for saving data. I'd expected it to have that, as many, MANY capture cards do, but this one does not. Consequently, I had to buy a second device for capturing my PC output without the need for an additional PC to do the recording.

My son loves this device! Good quality item, a bit expensive, but high quality item.

I purchased this to replace my hauppage 2. This is device is much better. The included software is very easy to use and can be figured out in a few minutes. It's awesome having a 1080p 60fps option because that's the standard today. When capturing video game footage I didn't experience any lag in audio or video. The only complaint I had about this device initially was my struggle with getting PC game audio to be included in the video capturing. I had to tweak my audio settings a bit but now it works perfectly. In case you wondering how I figured this out, I googled it and found instructions from Elgato on how to get the audio recording to work when capturing PC game footage. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great screen capture device. It will give you extremely high quality results. It's worth the price tag.

Easy to install takes only minutes. You will need a extra hdmi cable not included. Elgato interface is easy to use and puts out a nice 60fps

I bought this as a gift for my teen son. He loves it! He says there is hardly lag if any at all. The quality of recording is amazing.

My son has given this a two thumbs up.. Works with both PS 4 and Xbox One.. Captures the best gameplay when recording.

I bought this for my nephew cause he is starting in the video sharing world. He loves to play xbox online, so he wants to upgrade the experience sharing with more people his playing tactics. bought this for my son, who likes to record and post minecraft and other videos (castle 227 on youtube), and he loves it! Now, he's just a kid, so I've had to help him a bit, but it seems pretty intuitive. I'd recommend it.
