This is a must have for anyone wanting to capture their game play or streaming. When I originally purchased this device I used my Mac to drive the set up, be warned that the software for Mac lacks so much compared to the PC version which is why I am now using a PC for my gaming set up. The capture card only needs a USB 2.0 port on your computer, but I highly recommend having USB 3.0 simply due to the speed limitation of a 2.0 port. When you are trying to capture 1080p 60fps video the write speed of a 3.0 port will greatly improve overall quality of the footage such as image tearing and fragmentation giving you a much more satisfying result. If you have an older computer do not fret, simply look into purchasing a USB 3.0 PCI Express card and you will be right as rain. My main reasoning for picking this over the 60 S was its lack of producing a master copy, this may not be a big deal to some since it is all personal preference. I hope this has been somewhat informative for people and helps your decision making!
