The mount is solidly built and works, but is held back by a few key parts. One is the clamp, it works, but you are going to able to use only on surfaces that have clearance to turn the handle that goes out beyond the clamp itself (check photos). Second is the the three screws on the bottom of the mount (check pictures) may have to be tightened to keep it from wobbling. The last thing to be aware of is that the Master Mount is only one part and to get the most you would need to purchase other items not included such as, the Flex Arm for more freedom in the set up, and a phone mount if you plan to use this with a smart phone. It is still a good product, just be mindful of the price and possibly wait for a sale or rebate, or something else that reduces the cost.

Surprised with how sturdy this thing is. Currently holds up a Canon 5D MKIV with a 24-70 lens and that is not light at all. Only complaint is the rubber seating where you screw into the bottom of the camera wrinkles up when you tighten it.

Desiring a more stable mount for my Logitech Brio webcam than atop a monitor on my standing desk, I opted to deploy it atop the Elgato Master Mount L. Mounting to my desk was very simple, and the flexibility of this mount is well beyond my requirements. My only wish is that the there were additional cable clips for each of the telescoping segments, but nothing a few cable tie straps can't handle.

Study yet sleek. Managed to hold my Fuji XT-4 for streaming/remote work pretty well! Easy to set up.

Very sturdy. Good quality. Price is a little high. I think a better price point could be $39.99. At first the top extension was not working. Had to really twist it to unlock.

I have two of the key lights with the same mount. Needed another mount for Facecam. It is very easy to use.

I needed a camera arm to help get me the right overhead angle for a project that I am working on. The arm give me plenty of height for the right overhead view and addition to the Elgato Left arm.
