Elgato Stream Deck Review: A Must-Have for Streamers and Power Users The Elgato Stream Deck has become a staple in the world of content creation and productivity, and for good reason. Whether you're a streamer, video editor, or someone who just wants to streamline their workflow, the Stream Deck offers a powerful combination of customization, responsiveness, and polish. Pros: 1. Intuitive Setup & Software The Stream Deck's companion software is user-friendly and powerful. Drag-and-drop functionality allows you to assign commands, hotkeys, media controls, and more with ease. Profiles can be created for different apps or tasks, making the device incredibly versatile. 2. Customizable LCD Keys Each key is an individual LCD screen, fully customizable with icons and labels. Elgato provides a key creation tool, or you can upload your own graphics. This makes it easy to visually organize your commands. 3. Workflow Game-Changer For streamers using OBS, Twitch, YouTube, or Discord, integration is seamless. You can switch scenes, trigger sound effects, launch apps, and even control lights (via Philips Hue or Elgato's own products) with a single button press. 4. Not Just for Streamers While built with streamers in mind, it's also a fantastic productivity tool. Many users customize it for video editing (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve), music production (Ableton, Logic), or even daily productivity (macros, shortcuts, automation). 5. Build Quality The device feels solid and professional. Buttons are tactile and responsive. It comes with an adjustable stand for comfortable viewing angles.

One of the best Elgato products around! The displays are really nice & bright and the touchscreen bar at the bottom is super cool & convenient! The knobs are great, perfect for adjusting discord and Spotify sound without exiting games. Haven’t noticed any lag when hitting any of my custom button set up! Perfect for if you’re tired of adjusting sounds from multiple sources while game and for setting up hot keys for productivity!

As a long-time user of Elgato products, I can confidently say the Stream Deck + has taken my workflow to the next level. What sets this apart are the 4 tactile dials; they are incredibly precise for controlling volume, lighting, or even zooming during editing. The combination of the 8 LCD keys and the touch strip makes navigating through folders and profiles very fluid. The build quality feels premium and sturdy, which is exactly what I expect from my favorite brand. If you’re debating between the standard model and this one, the dials alone make it worth the extra investment. Pros: • Multi-function tactile dials are a game-changer. • Touch strip for real-time info and swiping pages. • Seamless integration with Elgato’s software. • Sleek design and very stable base. Cons: • Takes a little time to fully customize, but it’s worth the effort.

After getting setup this item is a wonderful addition to my rig. Love the customizability of it. The control it can have over programs and ease of use once setup. Tons of cool plugins to use for fun and work.

This is an awesome tool. I dont stream but it makes my everyday life easier. For work , video conferencing, and gaming i use it daily. Lots of plugins. controls most of the smart lights i have as well. I did pair it with the xl because you can never have enough buttons.

I love this thing! The Elgato Stream Deck + is super easy to use and makes my setup feel way more professional. The customizable touch strip and dials are really handy for adjusting volume or switching scenes quickly. I use it every day for streaming and other tasks definitely worth it if you want to make your workflow smoother.

This small unit can control anything you can imagine, AND operate has a hotkey pad, unlocking multi step process at the touch of a single button. Highly recommend the XL as your first tho.

finally started a YouTube channel in full fledge and had to ensure I got this puppy to complete the 15k desk setup at the home office podcast phew = so glad I invested in myself = the amount took me 7 years = consistency is key and time = compound to growth fr

Whether you simply do productivity, or even getting at streaming, a Streamdeck can be a must have. Combining it with their software, it allows you to map almost any kind og quick action, key bind, and more to the device, allowing quick and seamless actions to be performed and you can make certain precise adjustments for sound and other aspects using the 4 dials that too can be mapped. This stream deck had been a useful piece of equipment for me! Completely helped me with streaming more, and all of the customizing and confining you can do to it, great stuff!

This is one handy powerful tool for streamers and content creators. I absolutely love mine. the software is easy to use and user friendly, pretty simple to set up! With a press of a button i can play a funny soundfile or play and control music, i also use the dials to set the brightness on my elgato lights and set all audio levels. Very handy to have all this at your fingertips while live streaming, no closing out of screen to configure all that with this device!

Best tool to have a streamer. The knobs can be customized do adjust all my audio with a turn instead of using plus and minus button on my old stream deck. My old stream deck is now my dedicated soundboard. Elgato products upgrade but they don't become obsolete because something new comes out.

Amazing software, amazing quality, and overall amazing product. The amount you can do with thing is endless, great for productivity and general use computing. I would highly recommend it.

The stream deck is super nice as it has the dials for like volume brightness etc.. also it is very customizable with so many plugins, this is truly a amazing device also works great with my Wave XLR

Best product on the market! Able to combine multiple gaming tools into one and free software!

An amazing product, may take some time to setup and use.

It is a tool that helps you manage twich, tiktok in an excellent way and saves a lot of post-production time by giving you the opportunity to make shortcuts to effects, administration, links, and AUDIO! It's beautiful, if you're a streamer this will be the second most important thing after your keyboard and mouse. I use it on my pinchivenadillo channel on twich :D

This is a great device for people who want to streamline certain tasks, key maping is truly endless. I feel like the device falls short with the lcd touch screen. Good resolution and responsive but each nob can act as 3 seperat buttons. Pressing the touchscreen above the nob does the same as pressing the nob. Example: when wanting to display a clock on the lcd. I have to program the clock to the nob. Creating a dedicated “clock mode.” So as long as I want the clock displayed I have to keep the nob in clock mode. It would be cool to be able to program the lcd screen seperatly. Other than that this is an essential piece of kit! Go buy one already and streamline your life

Love this product. Easy to use once you get the hang of it. And so many custom options.

I upgraded this from the original stream deck, I was using another external audio mixer but this can do it all, I can control my volume, use micro binds and if you pair it with a XLR Dock that just release from Elgato it's a 3-1 device highly recommended
