This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I had always wanted an electric tea kettle for my apartment but kept putting off buying one until just recently. I absolutely LOVE this thing. I use it twice a day, once for my morning tea and once for my evening tea. The water boils ridiculously fast, just under 2-3 minutes depending on how much you fill it! It automatically shuts off once the water is boiled so you don't have to worry about shutting it off yourself. The cool blue illumination it gives off while in the boiling cycle is a lot of fun to watch, especially once the water is boiling. 10/10 stars, best tea kettle ever!

Heats up water fairly quick, I've used mine almost daily for about a year and a half now. Good quality, and it looks really cool with the blue light.

I like that it is big enough at 1.7L, (1.8L would be even better of course)... lot of the newer models are 1.5L.Somehow at 1.5L, it just run short if I boil once, and will be too much when go at it twice. This kettle has a wide opening, makes cleaning & scrubbing the base etc easier. It's also made of glass, and I like to be able to see the water boil, as once the water bubbles it is boiled, it is a small trick I have been using all these years to be more energy efficient. The calming blue light when powered on helps to give it a classy look.

First, it's a see through kettle so I'm no guessing how much water in there then it's boiling the water fast as I expected. Overall, it meets my need :)

This thing boils 2 liters of cold water in under 2 minutes. Quick and efficient for all of your tea and instant coffee needs.

We were so surprised at the great quality of the Elite Platinum 7.2 Cup Electric Kettle. This thing heats water so quickly, has a great light up blue bottom and is easy to use. Easy to pour functionality, and heats much faster than other electric kettles I've owned including Cusinart.

been wanting a electric kettle to help bowl some hot water for me to use for coffee, noodles, oatmeal, .etc. It really heats up the water faster than you do on a pot on a stove. Hmm ( I think it about the same or is it?) well anyways, at 7.2 cups it does heat up pretty fast, can't recalled how fast, but it feels like a minute and a half to a boiling point. it could be less, Well I like the blue light that lights up when you turn it on to boil. After it is done boiling, it auto-shuts off and the blue lights turns off too letting you know that it is done boiling for your safety. it comes with a filter. it was on sale at the time. One thing i don't like is the handle when you hold it and starts to pour the hot water into a cup it feels unease or not comfortable to pour, but within due time, i got use to it. This is a great product. Holds good qty of water, boils it quickly (within couple of mins) and looks stylish too in kitchen! Just reduced one star as it makes little noise that you can't ignore but that's okay as everything else works great!

This kettle heats water amazingly fast. Our chief frustration is that the minimum it says should be heated at one time is way more than one mug's worth. It also is becoming discolored, and we need to try the cleaning suggestions.

I purchased as a gift but ended up keeping it. I like this one better than mine because the lid lifts by a switch and you can pull it off while its running and it will stay on when you replace it. It also has auto shut-off which is the whole reason I went with an electric kettle, I use a coffee press and we are big tea drinkers, I can't tell you how many regular kettles and pans I ruined forgetting they were on the stove. I fell asleep one night with my kettle on the stove and luckily nothing bad happened but at that point I went out and purchased one the next day.

the water get boiling really quick. plug and play, easy to use. Now I switched from microwave to this one for boiling water usage.

Needed an electric kettle for making tea quickly and this one does the job. boils must faster than a stove top and looks good too.

It works exactly as expected. Heats the water really quick and works every time. The blue light looks cool.

First I read reviews and decided to buy this electric water pot. In the morning I turn it on, use the hot water to heat my insulated coffee cup. But the best part, it shuts off on its own. I know, most electric pots do, but not for how little this gem cost me. In the evening I have hot tea, or I want to bake a favorite dish, I just turn her on and let her do the job. Like I stated earlier, every kitchen needs one. I would recommend to friends and family.

I wanted to get away from plastic and did not want metal and I wanted something sleek and cool looking on my counter...and this is it! Quickly heating water whilst offering a soft blue light, this pot offers fast service. The cord is long enough so I don't have to have it against the wall like my previous pot- but short enough to not be a safety concern. I love this!!!

I really enjoy this kettle. Heats the water quickly the light indicates that it is on so you don’t miss it if you accidentally bump it to the on position, a great safety feature. I like the clear glass compared to a metal kettle I had, you can see when the calcium build up occurs and it needs cleaned
