I'm going bald so I did the logical thing and bought high-end clippers. The Wahl Elite Pro are easy to use and trim great. A full line of accessories and guards is a nice touch.

I have been using it for 2 years now. It is well built and works great. Almost every month once for hair cut and alternate month for my kid. You get slanted clipper for sideburns which really helps. Also comes with a nice scissor and comb. There is no downside for me, but just be aware that It is heavy, bit big to hold and also not a quite one.

I get a hair cut twice a month, this machine is very quiet and smooth. Plenty of accessories and even has 1 1/2 clip to make you cut more clean.

Covid definitely changed how we lived. With a small rechargeable trimmer and a sharp pair of craft scissors we have avoided our local hairstylist for the past several months. Realizing this wasn’t going away quickly we decided it was time to buy some larger clippers. After reading several articles and reading many reviews we narrowed our choices to the Wahl Elite Pro and a more expensive Wahl Magic Clip. Both clippers have their advantages. The Magic Clip is more expensive but rechargeable. However no storage case was supplied. A case would cost an additional $15 on some sites. Most important, the Magic Clip came with very cheap guides which would have to be an additional purchase which would be another $25-$35 extra expense. These extra expenses equals the price of the Elite Pro. Guides made of high quality material that doesn’t bend or pop off are very important to a good haircut. We decided to purchase the Elite Pro that came with the premium guides. The model that we bought from Best Buy also has extra guards that their competition doesn’t provide on sites of other well known companies. Make sure you count the amount of guards that the other guys offer. We decided if not happy with the Elite Pro, we would have the case and premium guards paid for and we would purchase the more expensive Wahls Magic Clip. After opening our purchase we were pleasantly surprised at the powerful motor also. It is unbelievably QUIET and the cutting quality was very good. We believe we are going to use these for a few months before spending the money on the more expensive clippers. It seems to be all that is needed. The only negative that I can think of is maybe the weight. These clippers are slightly heavy if you were cutting hair everyday. Just for occasional haircuts for the family I think Wahls Elite Pro from Best Buy fits the bill. These clippers are light years ahead of similarly priced clippers when it comes to quality. The industrial cord is also well made and nothing cheap about it. Quality at not a really ridiculous price is hard to find these days.

It cuts my hair. While it may not sound like it, this is actually kind of a big deal. My hair is pretty thick and has stopped a few trimmers like this from working. This one is high quality, comes in a great carrying case, has some of the best attachments I have seen (some actual metal on them and not completely plastic), and is relatively quiet. It is a little pricier than I would like to see. But overall, you do get what you pay for. I am very happy. I highly recommend for anyone who needs to cut hair at their house... like for those times when the world shuts down and its hard to go get a haircut.

In these 'quarantine times' it helps to have a professional trimmer set to give yourself a hair cut. I've had 'budget' (e.g., $25-50 trimmers) before and this blows them away. It is very powerful and comes with a ton of accessories. I will say the unit is slightly heavy to hold over time (think 30 - 60 minutes). However, the weight is due to the powerful motor and strong build quality.

I've had clippers that would snag and not cut evenly, even though my hair is very short. That isn't a problem with these clippers because the motor is so powerful. Now, a better motor means extra weight, but the extra weight is a small sacrifice for the efficiency of these clippers. They cut so clean that I finish my cut in practically no time, which means I'm not holding the clippers as long, which means I don't have to deal with the incremental weight very long. These clippers are great.

This is easily the most powerful trimmer I've owned. Before this I had two smaller China made trimmers that would work for awhile. (both fell apart) This trimmer is built more robust and looks like one the pros use. Even the guards are made better than on my past trimmers. The only negative I can think of would be that this trimmer is noticeably heavier than the other lightweights I used in the past.

This is a very high quality machine, especially when you consider the price. The kit has everything needed to do a professional quality haircut. The COVID haircut my wife gave me looks just as good as a barbershop haircut. Highly recommended! AND it's made in USA!

I bought this during covid and was initially only going to use it during the shutdown. After using this a couple times, I don't think I'll step back into a barber for a long time. It does a great job cutting my hair and it's easy to use with all of the attachments you should need. It feels sturdy and powerful and never once pulled. It pays for itself within two haircuts and I would recommend this if you are wanting to cut your own hair.

Great product and combination of included attachments. It worked great as intended. The unit is solid and works smoothly. Blades do not jam or clatter. The instructions convinced my reluctant partner that she could do her first haircut. It worked out quite well. I am pleased with the product and the transaction.

I've had hair trimmers before but none can compare to the Wahl Elite Pro. Cuts hair fast and easy. The attachments are easy to use. The motor is powerful and It's a little heavy but it does not affect the use of the clipper.

I decided to use clippers as I’ve been unable to visit a barber shop due to the coronavirus. My hair was wild. I have thick, course hair and the Wahl worked beautifully, it was like a hot knife going through butter. My wife was my barber and has never used clippers before. She found it easy to handle and very easy to use. Once she got the knack of using the clippers it was very easy to cut my hear. The kit includes everything you need plus some. The oil they give you should last at least a few times. Overall it was a great buy from a quality product. I’ve always see Wahl clippers at barber shops so I know they are reliable. Initially at the start of the pandemic this product was difficult to find and when I did the price was very inflated. When I saw them on Best Buy website I ordered the same day. If you’re looking for a quality pair of clippers at a fair price you won’t be disappointed with this Wahl product

Love design, look and power of this clipper..nice collection of attachments and they fit snug and tight...also made of really good quality. Love this set...will definitely be getting another one when on sale or clearance.

It comes with everything required and with lots of size options. You feel the overall quality. Trimmer motor is powerful. For a complete set like this it is worth the full price. Get it if you can find one during coronavirus lockdown...

When Covid hit and my barber was closed, i learned to cut my hair via youtube. These clippers saved the day. Many think I go to a professional.

Finally Wahl is producing clippers that are worthy of that name and all the clippers that came before it that we grew up with. This has a nice clipper (with a powerful motor, that does stop snags), and awesome attachments with metal reinforced backs. Also this comes with everything you would ever need!

Works well, easy to use, good power, and full array of accessories. A little more than I wanted to spend, but inventory was low across all websites for hair trimmers, so I went for it.
