This is my first time doing a DYI buzz hair cut... I used the #6 attachment around the ears and back of my head, #7 along the sides, and #8 on top. I used the #3 across my eye brows. I am happy with the results and the performance of this trimmer. This is a good temp replacement to my normal hair stylist.

This model is a Wirecutter top choice, and I agree. I asked no questions just clicked "Buy." I'm glad I did. First haircut--a selfie haircut--turned out great. I watched several YouTube videos to learn about self-haircuts. The techniques worked. I look good--as best I can for 76. Yes, this model is a bit pricey, but the extra cost is worth it.

Great quality machine wouldn’t pull your hair and has stronG motor

I've had my previous set of yellow wahl clippers for about 10 years now. Never oiled them, abused them, and they still worked relatively well so I wanted to go wahl again. On my last set the clipper guards hook piece snapped off of 5 of the guards so I like that these are metal clips and not plastic. What I also didn't realize was that these come with 1/2, 1, 1 1/2, 2 sizes where my last just had 1 and 2. I LOVE this; since I cut my own hair it really helps with blending. First cut went great and I'm looking forward to ten more years hopefully. Ps I bought on a daily deal for $40 but I would easily pay 50-60 for these, maybe even more but at that point you may start looks by at nicer ones? I don't really know the clipper market.

Alot of attachments. I don't think I even use half of them. The machine is a little heavier than the norm. Its a great cutter. ID recommend it.

Easy to use. Helpful instructions. Lots of combs. Finally learned how to use ear combs. they work great. Never could make sense of them with the old (wahl) clipper. We jury-rigged the vacuum hose attachment from the old clipper and attached it to the new one. Much prefer hairs sucked away into the vacuum rather than all over the floor.

Solid buy. I just needed something quick so I honestly grabbed what I thought was a miss tier cost effective solution to my problem. But turns out... its great. I have a very expensive one (I left at a family members, why I just needed this one) but this one can almost stand upto the one I paid 300$ for. Worth a buy if you need a budget one.

I used them for the first time to cut my little brother’s hair. Not only did I have instructions to tell me the difference in all of the guards. It also comes with scissors, blade cleaner, bag, and so much more. I didn’t butcher my little brother’s hair or cut him with it. Definitely a great purchase and worth it for the price.

Went 18 months without a haircut and finally couldn’t take it. But I still wasn’t ready to head into the barbershop so I bought this clipper to do it myself. This does what it’s supposed to do and comes with plenty of attachments. Have cut my hair 3 times since getting it and haven’t had any problems.

During the start of the pandemic I was using an old Remington brand clipper and it helped but not good enough. Check out Wahl-Elite Pro Wet/Dry Hair trimmer and I love it. It does a good job and it is easy to use. There is a manual and videos to check out. Won't need to go back to the barber since I can do it myself.

Does a Great Job. Had my wife my cut my hair for the 1st time. She did a great job, instructions are great as well which helped out very much. I don't plan on seeing the barber anymore. Good quality, well built. Had this trimmer for a month. Had some others before not as good. Looking forward to the next use .

This is a nice trimmer for a decent price. The motor is very powerful--it startled me the first time I switched it on. The combs attach easily and are really stable. The only thing to be aware of is the blade depth adjustment lever is kind of easy to bang, and this can make your cut a bit uneven.

Great trimmer! I've been cutting my hair and my two kids hair with this for a while now. I love the power and if you tighten the adjuster read tight it's really quiet as well. But it does seem to heat up after a couple haircuts back to back. I've never had an issue with that though.
