Horrible, horrible device

I picked this device up because it was 'free' from VZW . I can't say I'm surprised in the least that this did not impress, not one bit...
Let's talk screen size... This thing is TINY.. They advertise this as a 7" device, but yeah, you really don't get that much from the screen.
OS? This is still stuck on KitKat and will likely not get updated any time soon. This OS was released on September 3, 2013... Yet, here it is 2016 and VZW still hasn't updated.
Storage? 6 GB is nowhere near enough with all the garbage VZW throws your way. A firmware update kind of resolves this, but it's still not terribly useful.
Processor/Ram? Yeah no.
This might be ideal if you want one or two apps running, but it's not even close to a decent tablet. For the same size/price, check out the Samsung t-280 . Same EXACT size, specs are way better (processor/ram), and they're working on getting it upgraded to marshmallow.
I had the Elipsis for a year, and have to say, for my first Android device, I couldn't have gotten it more wrong. The Tab A (t-280) is stunning, at least for an entry level device

I looked at the iPhone mini and the Ellipsis. I much prefer the Android operating system so I can customize it as much as I want. The device fits great in my hand. The battery lasts and lasts.
I really appreciate that I could get it on Verizon. They have by far the best coverage. My wife had a different carrier and couldn't get signal 50% of the time.

I purchased an Ellipsis table in November of 2015. In was convenient in that I did not have to create a WIFI hotspot whenever i wanted to use my tablet, however the product was temperamental and would often not play content on websites properly. Then it went down during the week the warranty was up and because I notified Verizon the next week, they would not honor the warranty. Now I'm stuck paying $10.00 a month for the next year for a product that doesn't work. Do yourself a favor and just buy a tablet that taps into your phone's WIFI hotspot and safe yourself the $10.00 and verizon customer no-service.
