Portable and Concealed!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Elvie Stride Plus is a very portable, battery operated pump for women who are breast feeding. If you are a very active person who needs the freedom to pump on the go, this is the set up for you! The form factor is very small, especially for something such as a breast pump. It can be worn without other people really noticing that you have it on! It is also very quiet which also contributes to people not knowing you are using it! You can use the Elvie Stride Plus with an app on your phone which allows you to control the pump without touching the devices while you are wearing them. You can control suction remotely while keeping up with the info on when you last pumped. It even allows you to store preferences so you can use the same settings again. I also really liked the carrying bag that it comes with. It has an ice pack and allows you to keep the breast milk cool when you are on the go and may not have ready access to refrigeration. It also allows you to store the components of the Elvie Stride Plus. This rechargeable breast pump is great for an on-the-go lifestyle and its convenience and portability are unmatched by any other pump! You will love this device!

Great for working moms or those on the go!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for my cousin recently - she's a working mom with a 7 year old and an infant and she's obsessed with the portability and comfort of this Elvie product. She used the standard Elvie product before this for her first daughter but I did notice that it limited her mobility quite a bit because the standard model sort of requires you to plant in place to operate. Her life is a little busier than it was before, especially with having gone back to work after a relatively short maternity leave AND having another child at home. My understanding is that most breast pumps require some trial and error work to really hone in how it operates, understand the regular output, and getting comfortable with quickly getting it set up and ready to get good suction (proper placement and seal). There are some nuances like making sure it's completely dry before assembling it to maximize suction and milk output. There are some downsides to the portability, which is to be expected - because it's battery powered and not plugged into a wall, it is mildly weaker than the standard sit-down-and-pump systems. But my cousin said that it provides her the freedom and the negatives outweigh the need to be stuck to one location during this period. In addition, she did say that it is also SUPER quiet and the battery management is good so it lasts pretty much the entire day; just need to charge at the end of each day. You won't be going out on jogs or doing hardcore exercise with this thing but it really just offer some freedom to making pumping a "passive" activity.

Great milk output!!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely loved the packaging the Elvie Stride Plus arrived in! It felt like I was opening a high-end product that was very secure and protected during shipping. As someone who truly appreciates organization and everything having a place, the 3 in 1 travel bag the stride plus included check off that box. There are 3 separate compartments within the travel bag. One for wet parts, one for dry parts and a cooler with an ice pack that can hold up to 3-5oz bottles or 4-5oz milk storage bags. It makes pumping on the go super easy. Onto the pumps themselves, it’s great that Elvie included two different sized flanges ( 2-24mm and 2-21mm) saving you from having to buy any extra parts right off the bat. What’s great about these pumps is they are hospital grade. So they pack a lot of power, which for me equaled a better milk out put (compared to my OG Elvies). For a hospital grade pump, they are fairly quiet but can still be heard by others if there isn’t any background noises. Stride plus also includes a lanyard giving you the option to wear the hub around your neck or clip it onto yourself. Another feature I like about this pump is that’s it’s hands free, giving you the ability to be active while using them. I didn’t have any issues with them leaking either. The only design flaw I encountered was after removing the cups at the end of a pump session there was no way to stand them upright and with the small air hole next to the pour spout there is the potential for some minor leaking to occur. Overall, I am very happy with these pumps and all the extras included.

Excellent Pump for the money.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Summary ------------ Great hands-free breast pump and there is nothing like this in the market. This is a no brainer if you are working from home and need to feed a baby and store milk. What's in the box ------------------------ Elvie Stride carrying bag wet bag cool bag ice pack neck strap breast shields 21 mm 2 spare valves Pros ------ Good Battery life Hands free Good app for customizations Cons ------ Not a big fan of lanyard for the hub, belt clip is more functional Details ---------- This breast pump is a completely handsfree pump which collects in the bra itself. The cups of the Connect phone to hub and pairing is very easy. Once paired you can select modes within the app and customize it. The cups connects to the hub through wires. Not a huge fan of the lanyard type of arrangement, better would be a belt clip. The Hub kicks off with stimulation mode and after a few minutes kicks into expression mode.. The Battery lasts about 4 hours of pumping before requiring charging through micro-usb charger. Overall for the price a good pump and comes with a nice bag and ice pack.

My wife loves it!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife tested the Elvie Stride Plus and she absolutely loved it. She was very impressed with not only the quality and performance of the pump but also with how many accessories that were included in the box. The greatest benefit she saw with the Stride plus is that it comes with a lot of accessories including: a carrying bag, a wet bag, a cool bag to store the milk, 2 spare valves, and 4 breast shields. The breast shields include 2 different sizes 21mm and 24mm. The hub can be strapped to her waist, or it can be hung around her neck with the included strap. She loved the ability to have the option to pump out of one breast, or both it was just a simple adjustment to close off one of the tubes to the pump. My wife isn’t very tech savvy, so she valued the simplicity of the setup process. Within the box came a very well written manual. The app and all of the tutorials she could access, were of great benefit to her. She is someone that learns by doing and to be able to have very detailed videos gave her great confidence in getting started with the pump on her own. Through the app is where you can control the stride plus, such as starting pump sessions, setting timers and changing the intensity of the suction. The app is very informative and has many useful tips on how to achieve better pumping results. One of her favorite features of the app was the ability to log how much she had been able to pump in each session. She loves the ability to track her milk production outcomes. The Elvie Stride is very comfortable and convenient. Being hands free, gives her the flexibility to be able to move from any activity or room while getting her pump on. She really took advantage of this convenience to pump while at home doing different household activities as well being out in public. The breast shields are extremely comfortable, it fits both breasts easily even though they are different sizes. Everything is made of great quality, from the Hub to the breast shields, they are built to last. The only thing she could see could use room for improvement was the battery life. She has been able to get a solid one day of pumping (about 4 power pump sessions worth) on a single charge. She would like to see the battery life minimally go at least two days’ worth on a single charge. It was very helpful for her to see how low the unit’s battery life was at the time she would go to pump. Overall, my wife was very impressed with the Elvie Stride Plus. She thinks this is an incredible breast pump. It’s very easy to operate and offers plenty of accessories. Everything is built of great quality, and the unit is really comfortable to wear. The best part, is the hands free, having the flexibility to move around while pumping is so convenient. She would highly recommend this to any new mother looking for a good quality breast pump.

Every breast-feeding mom needs one
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just as a disclaimer, this review is coming from me, the man-of-the house who can perhaps give a different perspective of this awesome product. I have never seen a woman be this happy about pumping. She loves actual breast-feeding, and she loves the experience. So pumping to her is more of a task, of course, because she has to save all the overflowing goodness. But this was the next best thing to her—coming from a traditional pump. For a driven woman, there’s nothing more than her being able to live her usual life after being tied down for a while. Her ability to do errands, join zoom meetings, be in the car, and do some light activity—all while pumping. Based on her pump averages, the amount of milk is the same as the traditional one, and according to her, it does not feel like she’s being bothered—thus the ability to take meetings. It is much quieter too. She loves how simple it is, even if she has to clip the pump on her pocket or places it on a purse, the cups are just right in her top. One funny comment was, she loves the way her breasts look under the shirt. Umm, I don’t know what that means. ;) I just hope cleaning these are much easier—but maybe that’s the next big thing to happen to breast pumps. For now, this is great and we love it. We recommend. When the woman is happy, we all are.

Quiet, Portable, Pain-free
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I reviewed this product from my partners perspective and mine as well. There wasn't a lot of experience seeing this is our first child but we came into it not really knowing what to do since a hand pump was what we were using in order to pump her milk. We really enjoyed the fact that it is portable! We read somewhere that stress delays and sometimes reduces milk production so we decided to take it on the road and hit the mountainside on a sunset. It was gorgeous and the pump was so silent. She pumped a bit more than usual but by that time it was feeding time for baby. The fact that it is portable, quiet, and easy to use was a huge factor with the plethora of things my partner has to do everyday to get us going. She wears it around the house and its become an integral part of her routine. The pump has different settings and the intensity varies but my partner felt very little discomfort. Once she got past the fact that it wasn't her hand or mine controlling the pump it became easier to get adjusted to the pump. The determining factor to this pump was that it had hospital-grade performance, easy to clean, and the fact that it connects to the app and tracks pump sessions. Great pump, discreet, smart and portable.

Good for on the go
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife just started nursing, and we were looking for something more comfortable and less limiting than the pump we had. Enter the Elvie Stride Plus. Out of the box, I have to say that even I could figure out how to use it. This one was fairly intuitive. It is built to be fool-proof as you physically cannot (and should not) connect things the wrong way. It should all fit properly. The instructions were very helpful for me when it first arrived and we were trying to figure it out. The hands-free aspect of this pump is the obvious plus of Elvie Stride Plus. It is compact and lightweight which allowed my wife to just wear it under her clothes without it being too noticeable. The motor is also fairly quiet. I could barely make it out and I was trying to listen for it. It allowed my wife to keep doing her work and office tasks while pumping which she loved. Cleaning is very easy and you can just throw everything in the dishwasher. My wife emphasizes that while pumping is not the most pleasant experience, the Elvie was still one of the more comfortable ones she had tried. She didn't have to wear a special bra and it freed up time for her. All in all, she was very pleased with the Elvie Stride Plus.

Convenient, game changer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was able to get this for my sister who is a first time mother, and just recently gave birth to my nephew. This is her first time breastfeeding, so there’s not much to compare this pump to. But, what I will say is she has been thankful everyday for it since I got it for her. Setup is easy enough, and you can even pair it to an app( although you don’t HAVE to, if you’re not into that sort of thing). She is, and was able to pair it with no problem. It is definitely an added convenience. My sister is someone who was already naturally on the go, and needing to do multiple things at once. Now with a newborn that’s just how life is, and being able to pump while also wash clothes, change the baby, or do other tasks has been her saving grace. She doesn’t have to sit still and be tied down to pumps, to feed him. She indicated the suction id pretty good, and also easy to clean. The only complaint was she felt it was a bit noisy, but with so many other great features this wasn’t enough to remove a star. Comfort, convenience, affordability, somewhat high tech=game changer.

Top Tier Product
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off the comfort on the Elvie Stride Plus is unmatched. We have tried several others and while they got the job done they never provided long term comfort, and Elvie had knocked it out of the park in that category, even for the longer sessions. The noise level on this is so much lower than others we have used, and doesn't wake up the baby or anyone else that might be sleeping in the room. It doesn't even interfere with watching our favorite late night Television shows! The setup only took about 15 minutes, including figuring out how everything works and setting up that iPhone App which we also love. Cleaning is a breeze! There are no difficult to clean parts and that is very nice when dealing with an infant, if you are still reading this you already know the struggle! We love how the app tracks everything seamlessly so you don't have to manually do any tracking which is also a huge win, as we forget things so very often due to lack of sleep! All in all the Elvie is a great investment and we cannot imagine not having it.

Great for first time moms
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Full disclaimer I am not the one breast feeding, and I relied heavily on my fiancé for this review. First of all, the Elvie Stride Plus is much better than what is given at the hospital through insurance. For first time moms, the app and the step by step guide on setting up, using, and cleaning the Elvie Stride Plus is helpful and allows you to get started within minutes. The premium materials which makes this pump feel more comfortable than other pumps. The instructions go into detail with visual aides which are super helpful for anyone that has not used a pump before. There are two sized breast shields that come with the Elvie Stride Plus to accommodate nipple widths ranging from 21mm to 24mm. If you have larger nipples you will have to order the large breast shield which does not come included. Other reviews have commented on the pumping strength, but it has not been an issue and is more than adequate for pumping, especially if you are pumping and breast feeding. This takes me to the next point, which is the clip that comes with the Elvie Stride Plus. You can clip the pump module onto your clothes which allows for your hands to be free and tend to other things rather than dedicating the entire time to pumping. Therefore even if it takes a little longer to pump, you can still tend to other tasks which is much better than being stationary or having to use a spare hand to hold the pump. The Elvie stride plus comes with a wet bag, a cool bag, and a carrier to transport everything! The wet bag is used for items that get in contact with the breast milk and everything is easily wipeable. The cool bag is more of an insulated bag that is used to transport up to 3 standard 5 oz/150 ml bottles of milk and includes an ice pack. My fiance thought the product should come with the 3 bottles, but I think bottles are such a personal preference item that it doesn't make sense to include anything other than possible a variety pack of bottles. The cool bag, and wet bag, and the breast pump all fit inside the carrier which makes the overall product very convenient. This is the perfect pump that covers all of your needs and is the pump that has felt the most comfortable due to the premium materials. No need for specialized bras just watch the tutorials that Elvie has put together and you will be ready to go. Overall, the Elvie Stride Plus pumps well, is easy to assemble, easy to disassemble, clean, and transport.

Functionally on par with more expensive original
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our old original Elvie pump was starting to show it's age after almost 3 years so I wanted to see how the cheaper model worked now days. For the most part, it functions similarly to the old pump. Not really getting better or worse pumps out of this one, but the added bulk and inconvenience of the tubes and the extra noise from the pump makes it more underwhelming. But for half the price (if you're looking at the double of the original pump), it might make more sense for a lot of people. Setup is fairly easy. You pair the pump with the app if you want to (it's not required, but it will give you some added convenience). Connecting everything is easy enough. This pump comes with a small and medium size. My wife is on the upper end of the medium size so she enjoyed the old pump which also came with a large size (so she could pump twice between washes by switching the size). It would be nice if this included a large size as well to help all fits but it's not a huge deal. Functionally, as stated, we're getting very similar pumps as our old pump. A lot of people have talked about the power being greater on this pump but it hasn't been super noticeable or produced better results. There's some added noise with the external pump but you can usually mask that by putting it in your pocket. The tubes are pretty easily hidden as well so you can still use these pretty discretely but it just takes a little more work than the 2 wireless cups on the old school Elvie. If you do connect your pump to the Elvie app, you're able to set up some settings up front and the pump will just kind of do everything for you automatically, which is nice. But it's also nice to not need the app at all if you don't want to. The carry case is pretty nice and also much more necessary since there are more detachable components. But primarily, my wife uses the carry case to also store some bottles to transfer to after pumps. The old Elvie had the ability to just detach the resevoir and cap it so you could store it as is. You are not able to seal these pumps up for storage so having a bottle to transfer into is required unless you're very confident you can keep them standing upright until you're somewhere you can transfer. Battery power seemed pretty comparable to our old Elvie as well. Overall, this pump is fine. It still slips in under your bra and can be used discretely. There's extra power over the original Elvie pump but we didn't notice a huge difference in practice as far as results. Most things that the original Elvie offered that this doesn't is convenience. The ability to store right in the pump reservoir is one things my wife misses the most. The extra size that came with the original was also nice. If you think these things are worth double the price, then look at the original Elvie. I think most people can get away with this version just fine though.

Well thought-out, battery might leave you standed.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I asked my wife for her feedback on this and TL:DR, she loves it but noted that it dies quicker than she anticipated. She gets 2-3 full pumps out of it max before having to charge it up again. Not a total deal breaker, but if you don't have the means to charge it, that 2-3 cycles can come/go rather quickly, leaving you without much of a way to get done what needs to be done. She noted that the cups fit nice, snug, and secure. "Obviously I can feel that something is there, but it isn't what I'd think a breast pump would feel like when I stop and actually think about the fact I'm walking around wearing a breast pump under my clothes. It just feels like I'm wearing something little in my bra - not a pump...which is amazing." The bag itself is very nice, understated, and has plenty of room for your accessories and a couple smaller things if you need spare room outside of your other baby bags. It doesn't scream "hey, look at me!" which is great for being out and about or in the workplace. Being the Plus model it also includes a wet bag, cool bag, a spare set of valves, and two different size shields (21mm/24mm) but you can get the larger 28mm shields if necessary. Elvie's app for their pumps is pretty much the same as always, which isn't a bad thing as it has worked for us for years with no complaints. You get your basic timer and other information, allowing you to track statistics if you are the type to delve that deep into things. The operation controls are there, so you don't need to interface with the device itself, yet another great thing for those in the workplace. All in all, this is our second Elvie (the first being the Elvie Pump) and the Stride Plus additions of the bag and extras is totally it if you need a more on-the-go offering. Quality product performance and durability. Only issue being the battery which I'll deduct a star for. If you use this as a workplace only pump, or a secondary one...a non-issue. But if you want it as your main day-to-day, something to keep in mind. Other than that, top-notch yet again from Elvie!

Discreet and Quiet
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I work in a male dominated industry while exclusively pumping for my 8 month old son. I have other portable pumps that work well for me. However, as they are lower cost pumps, they are extremely loud and semi bulky. This makes working much more difficult. I have seen this pump constantly discussed and recommended in the breastfeeding groups I am a part of; so I was extremely excited to get one. This pump came with a ton of extras. Not only did it come woth the pump, tubing, membranes/valves and containers; but it also came with an extra set of duckbills, a container with a smaller size flange, a cooler bag with extra internal storage bags, an ice pack. I am a smaller size than what is provided, so I purchased Elvie specific flange inserts to use. I am a very large chested woman, so most hands-free pumps make me look extra ridiculous; I found this pump is the most discrete. This is by far the quietest pump I have ever used. I have been able to sit in a meeting with this pump on, and no one even suspected I was pumping. Unfortunately, my body doesn't respond well to the stimulation this provides, however. While it helps me get a pump session in while I am in a position where I usually wouldn't be able to; I get about half the ounces from this pump than my primary pump. This has a very gentle suction even on its highest settings. If you are sensitive, this may be the pump for you. If you require a strong tugging feeling to achieve letdown, this may not be right for you. The only real cons I have on this pump is the battery. Even when charged overnight, the app never shows it as fully charged; only ever 80-90% charged. It also seems to only get about four 30-minute sessions in before it shows low battery. Overall it is a great pump if this stimulation style works for you. It may take some time to get used to the tubing, but once you do its discreet, quiet and high quality.

Fantastic hands free smart portable breast pump!!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My roommate's wife is a new nursing mother, she absolutely loves the Elvie Stride Plus breast pump! Its compact and lightweight design makes it easy to use and carry with her on the go. Plus, the hands-free pumping feature allows her to continue with her daily activities while expressing milk. One of the special features that sets the Elvie Stride Plus apart from other breast pumps is its ability to adjust the suction and speed settings to mimic a baby's natural nursing rhythm. This makes pumping more comfortable and efficient, which is especially important when she is on the go and has limited time. The Elvie Stride Plus also has a built-in rechargeable battery that provides up to 90 minutes of pumping time on a single charge. This is incredibly convenient when she is out and about and doesn't have access to an electrical outlet. Another standout feature is the pump's compatibility with the Elvie app, which allows her to track her pumping sessions, milk volume, and feeding schedule. She can also customize her pumping experience by adjusting the suction and speed settings directly from the app. Overall, she highly recommends the Elvie Stride Plus breast pump to any nursing mother looking for a portable and efficient pumping solution. Its innovative features and ease of use make it a game-changer for busy moms on the go.
