This is a first rate science fiction movie. The storyline is almost believable and the acting is first rate. Nothing cheesy here, just a really well done production.

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie as I purchased it without knowing much about the story. There are parts that seem a bit slow to the plot but overall the message was a good one and I enjoyed the action and special effects. I wish they would have spent a bit more time on showing the area of Elysium as that would have proven much more interesting than the few scenes of manicured greenery and spacious homes but nonetheless the effect was enough the show the stark lines that divided the wealthy from the poor.

This is from the same director as District 9 and when I saw that I hoped that the future for the director's film would be bright. After seeing this I was impressed and happy that a new director could have movies with a message, but also have great action, graphics, and story.

Didn't have a chance to see the movie in the theaters but heard good things. Picked up a copy during a good sale and watched the movie. Very well made and will recommend

This movie was great. All of the actors were fantastic. Especially good was Sharlto Copley. He is just amazing and scary at the same time. He is definitely a stand-out! Great sci-fi conceptually and also a great human story as well. Of course, Matt Damon did a fantastic job as well.

This movie has a lot of action! The story is good, but have a little more depth to it. Overall it is a great movie to watch l. I say own it if it's $7 or less.

We enjoyed the movie cos the idea of a whole other "upper class" society up in space is unique. Matt Damons character was very convincing, is a very well made film, albeit with a slightly surprising ending which is not what we thought. All in all, still great and worth watching.

Sony pictures knocks it out of the park again. This film was shot digitally and the 4k transfer is absolutely phenomenal as is the audio. Great movie and outstanding picture.

Did enjoy the plot and general synopsis as a Sci-Fi movie. Was well acted all around except Jodie Foster (she does not do bad guy very well) good effects and stage graphics.

Another title worthy of a good home theater watching

A fun adventure with lots of action, although the plot was predictable. As long as you suspend belief and aren't looking for a cerebral film this one is fine.

Excellent special effects and surround sound quality which keeps you immersed in this futuristic world. Cements Matt Damon as one of our top action stars of today.

It's a type of story that's been fine many different ways although this one was very interesting to watch. I loved seeing the technological ideas throughout as well.

So happy to finally have this title in this format. Elysium is rough around the edges but it's got a lot of awesome setpieces that should please and any action movie fans.

Good movie, makes you think, makes you remember that the common man needs to stand up to the elitest and politicians to retain our rights or that will be our future.

Found it to be a bit different took me a while to get into it. First time through I was not very impressed. Watched it again later and began to get into it.

It's hard to explain but this movies is great for the fact that the story is different than what everyone is use to. Good story good action scenes and good composition
